As far as I know, the issue is caused by PA(Physical Attributes) and the 1.61 grassland dlc update, I have canceled the PA for the time being, and I haven't found the code problem.

I don't use Physical Attributes

 

Its working now. I deleted the whole mod and installed it new.

Does someone else have the problem, that children born by slaves are freed slaves instead of being slaves themselves? I could pinpoint the problem to this mod. If I'd turn it off, the children would be slaves. I also have not triggered the specific decision, which decides, that children of slaves would be born free. Also, deleting the file of this decision doesn't change the outcome.

 

edit: I tried to pinpoint the problem further. Something in the events-folder in carn_slave_events.txt causes the problem.

 

edit2: The problem is in carn_slave.0003, which is connected to the decision, that decides whether children of slaves will be slaves themselves. No matter if the decision was triggered before, the else-conditon will be executed. I don't understand enouth of modding to repair the event, I can just delete it, as I don't intend to use the decision. But there are some subsequent problems:

1. I don't get a slave-hook on the slave children.

2. I don't get slave-specific interactions like free them or sell them.

 

edit3: Found a conflict with PA despite using the compatch.

so something weird happened and it's bumming me out. I've installed a few additional mods and the slavery tab dissapeared. I've disabled them one by one to see wich one was causing the issue, but even after disabeling them all, the issue persists. anyone has any idea on what i can do? i wanted to do a slaver run and i was counting on that tab

did a fresh re-install of carnalitas and the reimagened mods, basically how it was before i added the new mods, and the issue continues. i'm at a loss

What are the pregnancy chances for the rare courtesan encounter events? Base game rules? Also can we increase the frequency of the event?

Are the courtesans character bound or do they stay after playing as new ruler?

Nice Mod, 

sorry for asking here, i am almost certain this is a Load order problem,

 

but my Slaves inherit stuff, like baronies and leave court. Also my Slaves get drown in as advisers if a close relative gets a title. 

I remember fixing this once with different load orders, but i cant remember and i dont get what kind of mods would overwrite the block on slave inheritence.

 

I think it is due to my Slave "sharing Power" with a ruler.

Its quite frustrating, as all my slaves end up as slaves in their fromer realm after a while

This seems more like a conflict with another mod that also inserted a "slave" trait, and have that part of code with a lower name file (for example, carn mod usually start with c on the file name, but other mod may have it on a z to make sure it was loaded last) hence sometime readjusting the load order didn't fix the problem. You can make an overwrite mod and load it last and make sure the files for it started with something like "zzz_carn_slave_trait.txt" to overwrite possible conflict when loading the game

I love your Gender Laws Expanded mod since 2023, one of my favorite in my harem playthroughs. Is it possible that you can add your child gender focus action on your gender laws mod? I try others mod that does that action but yours is the best since it becomes a trait and you can track it.(I'm currently playing for a time without carnalitas and no other mod has done what your do since theirs usually get buggy or even break the game when you try to change it mid pregnancy.)

How one can change the health penalty which is in the slave trait? .. severy health penalty is just crazy. It also give -10 general opinion.

 

Or can it be reimagined slavery instead of this mod?

I looked at where the file is. Carnalitas Slavery Expansion>Common>Modifiers>cse_slave_modifiers 

 

You can see that the labour slave has a miniscule health penalty and the soldier a massive health penalty, but because they are spelled out and not number values I'm scared to try and change it myself
