Tiruil Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 If only there was a way to gradually become smaller or larger depending on the option for tall or short body instead of instant would be neat; but I dont think Skyrim works like that

Any height change - be it via SetHeight() as done here or via SetScale in the console - has a chance of teleporting you to 0,0,0 (which is above Bleakwind Basin if outside in Skyrim). Doing this once for the mutation was worth the risk. I do not want the shitstorm for this happening every hour or so.

That's the reason for SexLab offering "Potential Startup CTD Fix" in the Animation Settings menu which will grey out "Even Actors Height" if tagged. The teleport mostly happens when still moving and it has a far greater chance when in 1st person as opposed to 3rd person. Also, it has not been completely eliminated in SE/AE, though it seems to appear less often. If you've got the Shrink Self spellbook from Acolyte Jenssen, you can give it a try. There's a setting in BAC MCM to have that change your height either gradually or instantly. Set that to gradually and try it out while moving (especially running or sneaking in shallow water helps). I put a marker in the location where you cast that spell and move you back there when the change is done, so you might experience it only as a flicker. Edited August 9, 2023 by botticelli

The face mutation I got only made my nose stick out a bit - I was hoping for something far more dramatic like what cakeman had. Any guidance for how to achieve this would be appreciated On 8/3/2023 at 12:21 AM, grafik said: so yes, gave mine old setup a try... Initially, I get the old BAC look, nothing like this above. I am seeing the new udders, got that working... Now shes looking like a white (flat white, no texture) stretched out human, with a tongue sticking out... I am a bit lost in these 139 pages =C understanding it could be some rogue old files, but which, and were? what to remove... Also when I was still human looking, the face didn't get furred like up above... hmmm Problem is simple enough, despite making the bPLayerOnly=1 into bPlayerOnly=0 I can't get the fur textures to apply to the face of ANY npc, at all

masterofgamespl Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 (edited) Spoiler Hey, Cow Head doesn't appear for me, I play on SE (AE) tho. I've downloaded LE head mesh, and then replaced heads folder with folder from heads.rar, but that didn't really do anything. Any ideas? Edited August 11, 2023 by masterofgamespl

I thought to unlock all mutations there are, before looking for errors. Fortunatly this one seems to be the only one. Also my character is a vampire, I think it breaks some stuff sometimes with some mods. Edited August 12, 2023 by masterofgamespl

Did you get a message box saying something like "BAC CowHead: Custom race mod <xxx> no longer available! Aborting."? Or, alternatively a debug message stating "No standard face part found - Cow head not working!"?

La furie du Dragon Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Okay so I updated from 2.0 to 2.0.5, do I need to start a new save ? I already cleaned it in case it allows me to keep it, because I finished the whole Dawnguard questline and the main questline until The Fallen and it took me some time to get there, without me wanting do do all that again

It works with normal wood elf thought right?
