Probably but you have to open the esp and check what they have set' date=' for every single one of them. And make responsibility to 0 and and also aggressiveness to 0. Making them passive. instead of fighting they will now run away.

[/quote']Actually, if you want them to run away, you need to set confidence lower. Aggressiveness mostly affects below which disposition they'll attack.

Their confidence decides whether they'll run or fight.

How do you set those things for a critter/npc that is generated in game?

Well, the children are actually (apart from creature-children) copies of the base-NPC's, which you can edit in the CS.

To fix existing children, you'd have to open the console (~ key, or whatever key is above the tab-key on your keyboard)

There you'd click on the child, and enter: setav

Do you use HiyokoGenetics?

With genetics the children can have very high aggression, especially when one of their parents is a creature. I modified the ESP to include a limit of 40 for aggression but that still causes some of my children to attack other NPCs. It turned out they have an incredibly low disposition against other NPCs and I still haven't found out what exactly is causing it. There are no race -> race modifiers in x117 that would explain it. However, I found out that you can solve the problem if you raise their personality. It seems odd to me, since everyone says personality determines OTHER NPC's disposition towards you but not your (or an NPC's) disposition towards others.

Anyway, raising the kids personality to about 80 has helped - unless the NPC is a Mythic Dawn agent, which they can magically detect somehow.

To lower aggression after a kid was born use "modavmod aggression script -x" in the console, where "x" is the amout to lower.

To raise personality use "modavmod personality script x".

Thanks.  It definitely seems easier to modify them before birth if at all possible.

Side note: That name generator comes up with some pretty funky stuff. Had one kid show up named \"Do-chicane System Marbling\". hehe!

Lucky you.

I only get... "Daughter" or "Son" and I have to manually rename them.

I'm getting a missing mesh icon for \"TamagoMark\" (base object 10002503).  Anyone know what that is and where to get this missing mesh?

I also get this error sometimes.

I got rid of it by disabling loverscreatures. It was the Carrion Rats causing it.

Never found out any better way of fixing it. Had to give up all my creature functionality.

It is quite an annoying little issue, especially when you want to build an army of kids that look cool and continually have to reload at the moment before birth until the kids features come out right and they actually have a decent haircut, and then when you see one you actually like, they become homicidal on their siblings  :( that's definitely the case when one of my male-born daughters is trying to have my bloodhound's child (there's a facebook status that would have me put in an asylum :P). It would be great if there were a way to open up the race menu for the kids so I could just make designer war children after stopping the fighting, but oh well.

However, it is quite funny to use Madcompanionspell to essentialize all the kids and watch them get into a murderous free-for-all, just letting 'em go crazy knocking each other unconscious and raping each other as guards and anyone else nearby try to intervene and get killed in the crossfire.

And on a side note, is there a way to control who the kids follow normally yet, or is someone amazing/brilliant/awesome working on that? I have five brats right now following me without the use of madcompanionspell, and it gets a bit crowded and glitchy at times... especially when I'm trying to do other quests that give me followers, or when I have one of my loversbitch dogs with me.

I've made all my kids essential long ago. With the poor NPC AI in this game keeping them alive is absolutely impossible (just have them push an enemy into the lava on the Oblivion planes and see what happens).

To make an NPC essential target him/her in the console and type "setrefessential 1".

It's probably also a good idea to disable corpse check with "setcancorpsecheck 0" as it will frequently cause them to stop following you (at least until the next OnLive event).

HiyokoGeneratorCreature has a severe design bug. Unlike the default generator, it makes copies of respawning references (the creatures). Unless you have set very low values for the pregnancy phases the line

ar_Append aHiyo gene.CreateFullActorCopy

will cause an error if the selected parent is the father, since the father creature will already have respawned and the gene reference is null. In that case the default generator will usually create a child from a random x117 race.

The only workaround for this would probably be to create a copy of the creature and place it in an inaccessible zone until birth or miscarriage and then either use the copy or delete it if it is not needed. Depending on the intervals set you'd have to create a copy when sperm enters the womb so you'd need quite a number of FullActorCopy copies which would bloat your save game is therefore not really practical.

Is there another setting like that to disable them from greeting you every time you get close to them, or disable their random conversations with other npcs? The 15 second no-voice thing makes it really annoying to have to wait for them to stop mouthing off and get back in the group  :-\

Not that I know off. But you can always start a conversation with them to stop them from talking to the NPC. Works even before the NPC has reached them.

If you mean Elys silent voice time you can get some shorter silent voices here.

I don't get any greetings from my kids btw.

That must come from a companion mod.

Some more (bad) news from HiyokoGeneratorCreature...

I edited the TamagoClub script for the fetus to check for a valid father reference every 3h. If the reference is null the scripts searches for an actor (creature) with the same base object and "refreshes" the father reference if found. So far so good.

The Timber Wolf is now born correctly. The new problem is the wolf is not able to follow me into any dungeon. If I enter a dungeon and leave immediately sometimes the wolf is there waiting for me but sometimes not. In any case, he's still in the world. But if I stay in a dungeon for a bit longer I get this message in the console:

TamagoClub:(00000000) was erased(Invalid FormID)

After that the wolf is gone (erased). The number of active children in the HiyokoClub menu is also decreased by one. The wolf does not have the respawn flag set btw. I've used 'setActorRespawns 0' to be sure.

So I assume the creature children are removed by the game engine when the cell resets. Anyone know how to prevent this?

Also, has anyone tested it with creature children from a non-respawning father? (e.g. Rena Bruiant's dogs)

i have a question?

my situation is:

- tamago news informed: first child was born and registered into HiyokoClub.esm, not my child, of course

- after a while, when i'm clearing a Oblivion Gate near Anvil

- Because i used some fly mod (Drake from saiden storm), i can fly direct to main tower without run around.

- When i open the door to Sigil room, a "Little Boy" appear beside me, WTF??? how he can reach here? when i pickpocket him i saw he has key of someone house, that must be his parent, why he followed me? and how he can reach top of Oblivion tower? and why he named "Little Boy"?

Posted

1) "why he followed me", no clue. I still don't know if this is a tamago bug, is it intended, or what.

2) "how he can reach top of Oblivion tower" there is no place NPC can't reach when you are not observing him.

3) "and why he named "Little Boy"?" update your HiyokoNameList.ini in the "Oblivion/Data/ini" folder, with the one from this thread, you may need to reset Tamago&Hiyoko for this to take effect.

Posted

1. I reset tamago after this "Little boy" appear beside me.

2. Actually, my question is: is there a feature like: move to player? because main tower of Natural Disaster oblivion gate is can't reach without some action to make a bridge appear. but i fly direct to the top, so i didn't make the bridge. also, if he run around some daedra will kill him in one hit. I reset several time already before this point, one time he appear then a daedra attack me and he attack daedra and die, another time i'm on the bridge the he sudden appear after i open door, then i fly to the air, he run follow then fall off... I never play a companion mod, so is something wrong? Xeosp++ can change actor AI package but i load xeosp++ above them. all my lovers mod is at bottom of load order, everything still run fine i think.

Even we wont watch a npc he still need to run follow a path to able to reach some where except script them a moveto feature, just my idea, i'm not modder.

3. so i need to update HiyokoNameList.ini, because i thought full package in download section is enough already

Okay, I'm having a hard time understanding what the women say when I ask for their current Menstrual Cycle.  I see things about periods and frustration, but it's all messy and confuses me.  Can anyone give a Lite interpretation of what women say when I ask for menstrual cycles?

Posted

@Wavent

In your spells tab you have "check for egg ovulation " or something like that. Just use it on any female npc to get info about menstrual cycle.
