I made an account on here specifically to thank you, I really appreciate the hard work you guys all do. On the other hand, I've been trying to get the mod working for the last couple hours, so I decided I'd ask here to see if there are any kind souls who can assist me. EDIT: PROBLEM IS SOLVED, no need to worry about this anymore. ================================================ 1) I'll give a quick rundown of what I did and 2) the current problem: 1) In essence, I have already acquired the Gust Tools and 3DMigoto Loader (x64 version) and placed those into the main game directory (As well as the shaderfixes and 5 files that came with the 3DMigoto stuff, like d3dx). From there I nabbed PACK00_02 from the data folder and placed it into the main directory, then I proceeded to grab it and hover it over gust_pak (which isn't listed as an exe, but I assume it is one). Next, I drop it on gust_pak and it begins unpacking the files, to which a new PACK file pops up. (I made a backup for the pak file and x64 folder). I've read other posts and learned to rename the original pack file. I don't specifically remember the case, but inside the data folder contained an x64 folder. The x64 folder contains folders named character, Res_Asia, Res_CMN, and so on. I am assuming this is correct but I've heard of others getting 2 data folders (which didn't happen for me). My current folders for the setup from the game directory is Blue Reflection Second Light > Data > x64. With all that out of the way, I extracted parapara's v3 mod from a folder separate of the game, when extracting it gave me a folder called Blue Reflection: Second Light, I placed this into the main game directory. So now my setup looks like this: Steam > steamapps > common > Blue Reflection Second Light (this is the game directory, contains the blue reflection second light folder that is extracted from parapara's v3 mod) > Blue Reflection Second Light (the extracted folder). Inside is a folder called mods, and this is where I placed the additional microskirt mod. Just about everything is set, so I decide to double click the 3DMigoto Loader. This is where the error prompts me. ================================================== 2) "The Loader is not configured correctly. Please copy the 3DMigoto d3d11.dll and d3dx.ini into this directory, then edit the d3dx.ini's [Loader] section to set the target executable and 3DMigoto module name. d3dx.ini missing required [Loader] section Press enter to close..." Okay, so I checked and I know for a fact the d3d11 and d3dx is in the game directory, so it must be a missing loader section. Problem is, I don't really know what I am supposed to do for this. According to another post, a user edited d3dx by replacing some titles (dead or alive I think?) The question becomes, how do I properly solve the loader section error? Double clicking on d3dx opens up a notepad. I can't really understand most of what the notepad is saying, but I am assuming something needs to be changed in the notepad. This marks where I am stuck in the process. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I just want to say thank you to whoever took the time to read this. I hope my question can be answered by one of you who've managed to get this mod working. Once I can confirm I got it to work for myself, I plan to dedicate some of my time to writing a quick guide on exactly everything that needs to be done to get it working (because the information is all over the place, better to have it in one place). My goal is to get the mod to work on my end, that way I can help others who struggle with it. Thank you again and I look forward to any help you all can provide me with. These sound like the two problems. Thankfully they'll both be solved in the same step. Parapara v3 comes with a custom build of 3DMigoto, which is what you should be using. The current version you're using probably doesn't support the game. When you extracted the Parapara v3 mod, you were supposed to merge the two "Blue Reflection Second Light" folders, and overwrite everything when prompted to. That'll replace your bad version of 3DMigoto with one that SHOULD work, and put the Mods folder in a spot that 3Dmigoto can actually read from. So, quite simply, take the "Blue Reflection Second Light" folder that is inside the steam "Blue Reflection Second Light" folder, and just... drag it up a layer, merge them together.

Given that the AO skirt is shown, the skirt is on, right? My mod only disables the hide command when the skirt is on, so it shouldn't cause a particular skirt to partially disappear like in the video. The only thing I can think of is that you may have a different mod than mine? When I installed the microskirt created by moderchan@AT before, I got the same symptoms as in the video. This is because his microskirt is not compatible with all uniforms, the control key is covered by my jacket eraser, and it is a 3-step setting, etc. When I turn the skirt off with key 4 and turn it on with key 1 of his microskirt function, it causes the symptoms shown in the video. There are many cases where the setting keys of mods created and distributed outside of LL are not unified because the information is not shared, so if you don't rewrite the setting keys yourself, there is a big possibility that conflicts will cause problems. If you are using only my mods, it is working fine for me, and my dear friends shadowclone0 and zenchan, who report to me when there is a problem, have not reported the same problem to me, so I think there is something wrong with the way you installed it. I'll start working on a fix once I've confirmed the symptoms.

I spent the last 3 hours to make this guide to help everyone who is having trouble installing the Parapara V4 Mod (V3 is no longer a valid choice). This contains all the important information gathered from across these discussion pages in one place, so if someone asks how to install the mod, this would be a great post to refer them to. I did everything from scratch as I wrote this to ensure that it 100% works. - You do NOT need to install 3DMigoto as the Parapara mod contains a working version already. - Due to reasons to make sure rules aren't broken, there will not be screenshots of the process being done. - This post may be edited later on according to feedback or if something is missed. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Step 1): Download the necessary files. You'll want the latest version of Gust Tools, I am at the time of this post using version 1.49. I'll leave a link to Gust Tools here: https://github.com/VitaSmith/gust_tools/releases LATEST: Download the parapara v4 mod and (optionally) the updated microskirt mod v2, both of which can be found here: If you do not see a download link or do not have access to it, you aren't signed into the website with your own account and therefore cannot download it. Make sure to grab any other mods you desire (like the microskirt mod). Now we can begin. OLD: (DO NOT USE) Now not a valid choice after update 1.0.2 for Blue Reflection. The parapara v3 mod can be found somewhere on this page: ................................................................................................ Step 2): Extraction and Placement You're gonna want to be able to extract your newly downloaded files. If you are unable to, you can always search for 7Zip on Google and download that for free, it'll allow you to extract files when you right click on them. If it doesn't say 'extract here', you can click on open archive and extract from there. 1) Make sure you have these unextracted files in a separate folder you won't forget easily (if you are new to modding or extracting stuff), this is in case you mess up and need to try again. So now, please extract the acquired downloaded files. Make sure none of them are in your game directory at this moment. If you haven't done so yet, let's extract our Gust Tools that were downloaded. You should end up seeing new files pop up. Anyways, nab them and copy. In layman's terms, highlight the files and right-click. Hit copy (not cut). We always want to do this because things can go wrong. 2) Follow me to the game directory now (This guide assumes you have already installed the game, this guide uses the PC version from Steam as well). Now browse through your folders to find the game directory (the folder containing the game files). It will be something like program (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > BLUE REFLECTION Second Light. Please understand that you may have something different than program (86x) shown, that's okay, just find Steam and follow the path that I have listed. Once you see BLUE REFLECTION Second Light, double click it and you will be inside the folder. Paste those gust tools in now. (This is the same location where the exe for the game is held). Now it is time to do the unpacking process! .......................................... STEP 3: Unpacking 1) You have a folder called Data, double click it so you can get inside. There should be a bunch of PAK files and an x64 folder. 2) Now please be careful here, check very carefully that you have the correct file. Note that we are currently in BLUE REFLECTION Second Light > Data. Grab the PAK00_02 file and drag it to the tab at the top that says BLUE REFLECTION Second Light. This will allow you to have it in the correct folder, that being the one where the gust pak tool is. 3) Now grab the pak file and hover it over gust_pak and drop it. Watch the magic. This may take a while, so go eat lunch or something. DO NOT CLOSE THIS APPLICATION OUT! Just be patient and let it do the magic for you. When you come back, you'll see two PAK files. 4) Either rename the original one or delete it. I HIGHLY recommend you copy and paste it in a different folder away from the game just in case before deleting it from the game directory. (after you rename it). 5) Now go into the BLUE REFLECTION Second Light > Data > x64 and notice there is a new folder in there called character. This was not there previously. If you see this, the unpacking stuff was a success. I also copied the x64 folder as a backup just in case. There is an additional note below, this is for people who end up with two data folders. Additional Note: I've heard of cases where users have ended up with two data folders. The main one is Data (capital D) while the additional data folder inside is just called data (lowercase d). If this happens, you'll want to merge the two folders together and overwrite if asked to so that only one data folder exists (the one with the capital D). If you do not know what merging is, please take a look at step 4 as it goes through explaining how merging works. Do not do step 4 until all of step 3 is done, make sure you only have one data folder before proceeding to step 4. ................................ STEP 4: Apply the Parapara Mod Remember the Parapara v4 mod you downloaded in a folder separate from the game directory? It is time we extract that. So go find it and extract it the same way you did with gust tools. The upcoming process I'm about to explain known as "merging," will be slightly different with the parapara v4 mod. The old method will still be included as it shows merging done outside the game directory (for cases where the folders are the exact same name as the game directory). Please be sure to read and use the latest method present. LATEST METHOD (parapara v4 mod): 1) When extracting the parapara v4 mod, you'll get 4 folders (Data, Mods, ShaderCache, and ShaderFixes) and 3 files. Copy all of these before we begin merging them. Unlike the old method, we'll be merging these files INSIDE the game directory (aka, go inside the folder called BLUE REFLECTION Second Light, which is the game directory). 2) Once you are in the game directory, hit CTRL + V (or right click and hit paste) to paste/merge the folders/files together. You'll be asked a overwrite stuff, so click on the option that replaces files with the same name. You should now see the Mods folder that wasn't originally in the game directory. The other files/folders that had the same name have been overwritten, so think of them being updated. 3) (OPTIONAL) If you have the microskirt v2 mod (latest version), extract that to get two folders named Data and Mods. Copy both of those. Go into the game directory. Just paste it there. You'll be faced with the same overwrite process. All is good if you do the same thing you did last time, overwrite the files with the same name. OLD METHOD (parapara v3 mod): When you extract, you'll see a folder called BLUE REFLECTION Second Light, exactly the same name as the game directory. This is important because this folder will be merged with the game directory. Before we do any of that, go inside the folder. (If you see folders like data, mods, shadercache, etc, you have the same one I grabbed). Now, copy that entire folder and go to the game directory but not inside it, click on BLUE REFLECTION Second Light and then hit CTRL + V (or right click and hit paste) to paste/merge the two folders together. You'll be asked a overwrite stuff, so click on the option that replaces files with the same name. Look, those previous folders I mentioned (like mods, shadercache, etc) are now there! Successful merging! P.S: Now, if you have the microskirt mod, extract that and go into the mods folder that is now present into the game directory. Just paste it there. You'll be faced with the same overwrite process. All is good if you do the same thing you did last time, overwrite the files with the same name. =============================================================================== Below is an optional explanation of what you just did. Explanation for the merging process: The files had to be overwritten because they contained folders/files that had the same name (but not always the same contents inside). You can consider this adding new files and updating old ones. Think of it like this, you are adding toppings and completing your order for a hamburger. You have two hamburger buns (folders called buns). Our newly fresh bun has pickle files + patty files on it and the other (older one) has cheese files + patty files. When you bring these two bun folders together to create our hamburger, files/folders with the same name are brought together into a single bun folder. The new stuff inside stays (pickle, cheese, etc) and the other things with the same name (patty) are what we are prompted to overwrite, in which we say yes to. What you end up with is a full fledged hamburger with all the toppings, which we got from combining and overwriting our folders/files. This is your quick lesson on tasty "merging". --------- ............................... STEP 5: Testing All that is left is to launch the game and hit CTRL + ALT + F10. If done correctly, the top left corner will have green text that will mention something reloaded. Note that you may have to play on some of maximum settings to take full advantage of this mod (cannot fully confirm this though). You can switch clothes on/off with the 1 key, take underwear on/off with 2, take transformation clothes on/off with 3, and switch the skirt on/off with 4 (which is also stated from one of Parapara's post). This marks the end of the guide to properly installing the latest Parapara mod (and microskirt mod) for Blue Reflection Second Light. Remember to be thankful to the modders who make things like this possible. (In this case, thank you Parapara). ================================ Additional Notes: --> If you messed up big time and feel as if you can't fix it. You can always uninstall the game from Steam and then reinstall. If you are doing this, after you uninstall Blue Reflection Second Light from Steam, make sure to go to the game directory and delete what is inside the folder BLUE REFLECTION Second Light (the game directory). For safety purposes (because I never messed with it), do not delete the game directory, only the stuff inside it. Afterwards you can reinstall the game and try again from there. --> I do not know if this mod works with some of the other similar mods at the same time (like ones from Silver Vox). You can try if you want, but I believe they use different versions of 3DMigoto. Keep in mind using other mods on top of this one does not always work. --> These new edits were created to make understanding and reading the installation guide a bit easier. I numbered some processes within the steps so it is easier to remember what you are specifically doing. The guide has somewhat been rewritten to support the parapara v4 mod, as v3 is no longer a valid option. --> Thank you for reading my guide. I hope this helps. I was able to get the initial mod working, so can anyone give me a quick rundown on what to download and where to put it? STEP 4: Apply the Parapara Mod Remember the Parapara v3 mod you downloaded in a folder separate from the game directory? It is time we extract that. So go find it and extract it the same way you did with gust tools. When you do, you'll see a folder called BLUE REFLECTION Second Light, exactly the same name as the game directory. This is important because this folder will be merged with the game directory. Before we do any of that, go inside the folder. (If you see folders like data, mods, shadercache, etc, you have the same one I grabbed). Now, copy that entire folder and go to the game directory but not inside it, click on BLUE REFLECTION Second Light and then hit CTRL + V (or right click and hit paste) to paste/merge the two folders together. You'll be asked a overwrite stuff, so click on the option that replaces files with the same name. Look, those previous folders I mentioned (like mods, shadercache, etc) are now there! Successful merging! P.S: Now, if you have the microskirt mod, extract that and go into the mods folder that is now present into the game directory. Just paste it there. You'll be faced with the same overwrite process. All is good if you do the same thing you did last time, overwrite the files with the same name. ............................... STEP 5: Testing All that is left is to launch the game and hit CTRL + ALT + F10. If done correctly, the top left corner will have green text that will mention something reloaded. Note that you may have to play on some of maximum settings to take full advantage of this mod (cannot fully confirm this though). You can switch clothes on/off with the 1 key, take underwear on/off with 2, take transformation clothes on/off with 3, and switch the skirt on/off with 4 (which is also stated from one of Parapara's post). This marks the end of the guide to properly installing the Parapara v3 mod (and microskirt mod) for Blue Reflection Second Light. Remember to be thankful to the modders who make things like this possible. (In this case, thank you Parapara). ================================ Additional Notes: --> If you messed up big time and feel as if you can't fix it. You can always uninstall the game from Steam and then reinstall. If you are doing this, after you uninstall Blue Reflection Second Light from Steam, make sure to go to the game directory and delete what is inside the folder BLUE REFLECTION Second Light (the game directory). For safety purposes (because I never messed with it), do not delete the game directory, only the stuff inside it. Afterwards you can reinstall the game and try again from there. --> I do not know if this mod works with some of the other similar mods at the same time (like ones from Silver Vox). You can try if you want, but I believe they use different versions of 3DMigoto. Keep in mind using other mods on top of this one does not always work. --> Thank you for reading my guide. Guest Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 スマホからなので日本語で失礼します。 先日のアップデートにより一部のデータが変更されています。 pc008_ddx_scl_w_patchの様にフォルダーの末尾にpatchと記載されたフォルダーが追加され、今までのフォルダーからは読み込みされていないデータが増えています。 また、Micro_Skirtに付属しているPACK02.pakもアップデートで使用できません。 対応作業には入っていますが、入院中のためアップロードまでには時間がかかります。

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this happens when the .PAK file is still being read by the game, so if you didn't rename or remove it, that would be the issue. Alternatively, you didn't overwrite anything after extracting said .PAK file, and it's still the vanilla files in there. And real quick, if the above IS your issue, but after changing it, the game doesn't load, make sure that there isn't a "data" folder INSIDE the first "Data" folder. If there is, merge the two data folders into one.

Either rename the original one or delete it. I HIGHLY recommend you copy it and paste it in a different folder away from the game just in case before deleting it from the game directory. (after you rename it). 100% had the same problem and just forgot this step.

We'll have to wait until they find a fix for it. For now you'll just have to skip that step with the alternate pack02 because the game currently won't launch with it.

Sakai Jin Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Some of Yuki's hair disappears when you remove skirts with the new v4 and microskirts installed. I can not remember if that was always an issue or not, or if the combination causes it. I don't think it's on my end because I just did a fresh install of the game before setting up the new mods. Could still be wrong though. Only error I have seen. Excellent work on the mods.
