If I remember correctly, the girls do have proper panties under their skirts in this game. The unfortunate practice of there being black voids under skirts started from Atelier Ryza 3 onwards. The games Gust made before that one did not have the black void under skirts problem.

Yeah, old Atelier games were great. It all went downhill with Ryza for me.

 

Edit: The camera tweak has 33 hits on virustotal...Readme tells me that this is normal, but im not too trusting of that.

It's because the camera tweak injects into the program and modifies it's memory in realtime. Without context, that could mean anything, and isn't far off from virus behaviour. So as such, it gets flagged as one.

 

But think about it logically. That specific file was uploaded back in 2022, with over 1000 downloads on it, and that site has a report button.
Not to mention that that's not the only game they released a camera tweak for.

If they included malicious behaviour in their programs, don't you think it would've been called out by now?

The camera tweak mod itself is safe and I have used it myself without encountering any issues. If it got flagged as a virus, that is because it is a false positive due to how the mod works as explained by Tehman4. The creator of the mod, cyn_mod, is also a trustworthy modder who has made many mods for various Atelier games and other Gust games so you do not have to worry about his mods being safe.

Nah, you don't need to do anything, as I've since updated gust_g1t so that it'll automatically set the correct amount of mipmaps for Z-stacked textures (by removing any extra mipmaps if needed).

 

You can just export from PhotoShop or Gimp or Paint.net with as many mipmaps as you want, and gust_g1t takes care of making sure that the updated texture will be accepted by the game, even if there's a Z-stack.

 

I tested this by editing the school uniform texture (000.dds) from pc000_scl.g1t in Gimp, and was able to see the changes applied (after of course making sure that the texture was re-exported as BC3 / DXT5 with the Generate Mipmaps option set in Gimp, to ensure that the same data format was being kept):

 

 

Hi, I´m trying to mod the ps4 version, to pack the .dds file again into .g1t I need a .jsom but i can´t find the file. I only want to remove the skirts.

Most of characters can show underwear easily by hiding some meshes except AO, KOKORO and REINA because the 3 girls don't wear a bra in any model.

 

 

To dress AO, KOKORO, REINA a bra, I extracted bra model from BLUE REFLECTION which includes the same underwear designing as Second Light.

AO is the same as SANAE(pc05)

KOKORO is the same as RIN(pc10)

REINA is the same as KAORI(pc08)

 

I extracted bra model by g1m_export, imported the .vb/.ib to Blender to make some adjustment to let the bra suit their body.

Then exported .vb/.ib from Blender and replaced the original blouse mesh by g1m_import.

 

It looks good in Noesis

 

but out of shape in game

 

I guess the cause is BR and Second Light use different skeletons. There are two "towering" bones on breasts.

 

How to fix this issue?

 

I can't tolerate those girls wear in the full school uniform even in the dress changing scene so that I can't start this game until I finish everyone's underwear model.

Does anyone know how to mod the girls to only show them in their underwear?
