I've tried with the ability set to both on and off, and no change. (Also, in the dog book, there's a typo in the vicious rape description saying its the doberman that uses that ability instead of the bloodhound)

Never heard of that bug before, but I'll check it out once I get all of my Oblivion stuff up and running again. Reinstalling the OS dun borked Wrye Bash and the Construction Set.

 

And yeah, I'm still around. I have a tenancy to not log in and post. But I'm here quite often, even if it seems like I'm not.

 

Did a complete reinstall of Oblivion and update of all my mods, and the Vicious Rape is working now!... sometimes... I haven't really been able to pinpoint a certain event that stops it, but its usually just after the second or third attempt. I did check and see that when it was working, his canine ability points went down normally (went from 35/35 to 25/35 after one rape), but when it stopped working on the next rape, they stayed the same. Maybe its just my overly modded game, or maybe I should just increase my rape time lol :P

 

Hope that helps to narrow down the bug search (if there is one). And no rush still, I'm still enjoying the amazingness of the mod as it is :D

Does the quest continue after the Leyawiin entertainment part? No new dialogue pops up and seeing some of the other comments suggests that there is more to it than that. Btw nice job on the mod.

Not 100% sure what you mean by that but I'm guessing the questline is dead at that point, and won't continue until the next update.

To quote an old game development saying: It'll be done when it's done. You should take this as an opportunity to develop a very useful virtue, patience. And also remember, this is a computer game, not a spare organ you need to live.

To quote an old game development saying: It'll be done when it's done. You should take this as an opportunity to develop a very useful virtue, patience. And also remember, this is a computer game, not a spare organ you need to live.

Knight133, I think ronttu was basically positioning it to you like this... You seem to be hounding Chase over updates, content, and just about anything else related to oblivion and his mod. If others that are reading this thread are becoming slightly annoyed, then most likely Chase is also. I'm sure he appreciates your enthusiasm towards his creation but in my opinion Chase has done everything possible to give constant updates as to progress and time expectations. Read his posts and wait patiently like the rest of us. No offense intended in this post, just pointing out maybe in a nicer way what others are trying to fill you in on.

 

BTW: a response of "go to hell" is normally not constructive to the community here either ;)

I think the main thing your missing is summed up in a simple statement you just made. "you request Chase uploads soon"... The modders do this as a hobby, they don't get paid to do this, they rarely get a thank you for doing this. Your request for someone to upload new content is virtually the same as a slap in the face. Indirectly your saying whatever is going on in their real life is less important than your want for a part of a game plug in. I'm going to go out on a limb and think your not meaning it like that but you have to remember that the modder's are here doing this because they want to be, not because they have to be. A thank you for their hard work and a little patience is all I'm sure they would ask for.

He's lucky I'm not his personal moderator. Between his posting style and childish attitude, I'd've banned him on strong suspicion of being underage.

Well with a birth day of 01-01-1970 it looks alot like he's underage. Just say'in

 

EDIT: Lawl Checked mine too its the same thing. Must of been when we transformed accounts over forums.

Just started "getting serious" with this mod and I found myself stuck early on in the quest. I finished training with Maera Sirius's German Shepard and learned the "down on all fours" ability. She tells me that I'm supposed to train with 10 other dogs. This is where I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

 

Am I supposed to train with 10 different dogs or just train 10 times with any dog? I figured it's the former because I already tried the latter (by sending my character into the breeding kennels and going through some random "encounters"). The problem is, if it's the former, I don't know where to find the other unique dogs, like the Tundra Wolf and Hellhound. As a (quick) test, I ran around the northern mountains and met only normal wolves, and I also took a stroll through an Oblivion Gate but found no dog-like creatures in any of the dungeons.

 

As it stands right now, I've only trained six dogs all of whom were obtained through Rena Bruiant's Dog Shop. I need four more in order to continue on the quest...

As far as the 10 dogs goes, just get on all fours and let 10 different canines have their fun with you. After that there's 1 more leg of the quest that can be done but that's it, the rest isn't finished yet. As far as the special dogs, I haven't found the tundra one yet but I can give you a hint to another. *SPOILER* Make a journey along the road from anvil to Kvatch...*SPOILER* (sorry don't know how to work the spoiler function)
