You should download and install Unlimited Survival to be able to save. Playing quest mods without saving is crazy.

 

In a normal setup, Baldwyin opens the door himself. I don't know what mod prevents him from opening a door, but I remember a user reporting that there's a mod that prevents dogs from opening doors, and of course, that conflicts with my mod.

I wondered what this is in the garden area of the NR Apartment as they are partly see-through unless its something else later on in the story that there related to that im unaware of yet due to not being too far in?

I'm a little confused now. Baldwyn's not a dog, he's the scientist on the left. And he's not the one that opens the door, Boris (on the right) turns and opens it, but he doesn't walk through or do anything after it opens... I'm just stuck watching the two of them idle.

It turns out I do have a nearer save though, since Music and I sleep on the sleeping bags... I've now tried two more times, from that save, so three times in total, and Boris always just stops at the same spot.

What do I do to trigger the next part? Surely there's a setstage or something I can progress to with the console?

Oh, okay, I thought the door didn't even open. I meant, if there's a mod that prevents dogs from opening doors (god knows why), maybe there was one that prevents NPCs from opening doors. 

 

Are you playing with the Nuka Ride World Patch? Could you uninstall it for a moment and try again?

Lets see if we can help you as I went through that scene twice today on my two new characters on a heavily modded game. First lets see if the door is not locked for some reason. Open the console and click on the door. Type "unlock" and then enter and close the console. Try and do this before the dialogue is finished and let me know.

Check if these mods are installed?

That worked! I got an exitsave right before sitting down in the tattoo chair (in Bunker Hill), then disabled the world patch, loaded back in and the quest continued on properly, through their 'testiing' procedures.

New question... Without downloading IceStorm's entire 8gb clothing pack, is there a way to get those Gage heels as they appear in the loading screen, without the fishnet stockings and belt included?

Also who are the possible mule delivery clients? I don't remember being given a name, and unlike with Soloman I don't have a quest marker this time... I made it past the big guy at the door (Keyshawn?) and so far I've talked to all the vendors, the bar patrons, the pastor, the school teacher, Abbot, Vadim and his brother, Scarlett, the two Science Center ladies, Travis and Ellie... I can't think of any other named residents I've missed, so who the hell is my contact?

When you talk to Nisha you specifically tell her who your going to make the delivery to.  I would check your quest log and mark the quest active, so you can see the quest marker.

I didn't get a choice like that, Nisha told me I'd have to get past the new guard, then she gave me an incognito outfit, and then her boy was shoving the drugs up there... No more dialogue with Nisha after that and there's no quest this time, so no quest marker... But Keyshawn was at the gate and I blew him to pass, and now I'm in DC trying to figure out who I'm supposed to give these drugs to.

 

Can you tell me what the choices are? So I can check with those people?... From searching the thread I know that the Pastor and Ann Codman are options. Who else?

Glad it worked. I get it sometimes that doors that should be open are locked it comes from other mods. Usually you can just willpower open em but since that one is part of a scene its hard to get to. So next time it happens again in a scene you can use the same method.

May have found the issue with that cell. For some reason the CK marked everything in the cell as edited, which the navmesh and 2 walls were all that was actually edited.

I just deleted that cell from my patch as it's not that big of a fix to mess with. There is an xmarker not sitting on any navmesh, but it's close enough to valid navmesh for the game to "deal with" 99.9% of the time.

 

But IF it ever happens, looking a Baldwyn and hitting e will trigger the dialogue and things will play out normally. Yes interaction options are "hidden" but are actually still there. ;)

If you didn't have a conversation about picking who to make delivery to then something is wrong.  Did you check your quest log & marker?

Yes, something went wrong 🤔 After putting the drug in, Nisha asks who it should be sent to.

I have to admit I just got as far as "Made In Heaven" on the Norita path not throwing shade on it but I dont like the outcome of that quest really if I am honest unless I did the wrong choices maybe. The quest in general was fun and had good writing. Dont get me wrong I have enjoyed the mod so far a lot its been good.

That's fine. I just write what I like, and if people like it, all the better. The source code is there for people to tinker with and customize it; it's a mod, after all. Not a commercial or professional product.

In the vanilla game, I went to Nuka World. It's a shame to kill Colter (Daddy). I can just picture Daddy from Nuka Ride in my head and in my mind's eye. Something like that. There's also Kellogg—I feel sorry for him too after Norita's path. I understand they're completely different in the vanilla game, but after completing Nuka Ride on Norita's path, I feel a bit sorry for them. Yeah. I'll work on translating Commonwealth Slavers instead. Thanks to J.B. for your wonderful mods. In them, you live a piece of your life alongside the main characters.

At that point the camera is still locked, so you can't turn your head to look at Baldwyn and interact. In fact I'm pretty sure the trigger to 'free' you and unlock the camera is right at the start of his dialogue there... I tried to TFC around when I was stuck there, but obviously that disables interactions. I didn't think to look for a console command just to unlock the camera, but that might have worked from the sound of it.

If it really is a 0.1% problem then there's some other factor involving mods or scripts or something that creates the conditions for Boris to stop in his path, because I had it happen three times in a row, and I'm fairly confident that whatever's going on with my setup/modlist/load order would have caused it to keep happening every time.

I found it... It's in the Miscellaneous section:

"Talk to Nisha to choose a client"

But I did try talking to Nisha after they put the drugs in and she only had idle comments. I'm trying to talk to her now after driving back from DC and she still only has idle comments.

So I'm definitely stuck now. I can't go with Gage until I've paid my respects to the Overboss, and I can't pay my respects to the Overboss until I've done a mule delivery for Nisha. But I can't talk to Nisha to choose a client... I've spent so long derping around in DC, talking to everyone and distracting myself with some crafting and Home Plate renovations that I no longer have a save in Nuka World from before the quest.

I'm making my way back from a save I protected during the Lucy Abernathy quest. Planning to make an apartment save just before I go see Nisha, and I might try that World Patch switch again.

Of course. She's expecting Stage 11, but you've already advanced on your own and you're no longer Stage 11.

 

I'd reset the quest.
