quick question to anyone really is there any issues with NR and the NG version of FO4 ?

Last time I played it generally worked fine, it was somewhere in 6.9.x.  Obviously there are some things that don't work due to recommended mods not supported on NG, but generally those are optional mods.  And the only major thing is there is an included F4SE plugin that only works on old-gen, but the prompts are pretty clear about that and if you ignore them you will likely get a CTD (when applying hair color, on NG you have to select the manual mode and it pops up LooksMenu IIRC).

Other than NG generally being a stuttery shitty experience, works as good as your going to get from Bethesda doing an opportunistic release (probably another one coming in November).

Got stuff working now, well mostly. NAFicator did the trick, scenes now work 🥳

Somewhere along the way though, something happened and now my feet clip into the ground when wearing heels as well as feet are at a weird angle in heels

High heel system is installed, bodyslides are built. Tried reinstalling HHS but that didnt fix.

Check your MM and make sure plugins are in-fact enabled.  There is an AAF patch in HHS that should be applied.  The other thing to look at is your F4SE logs and make sure the FO4HHS DLL is loading correctly (i.e. you installed the right plugin for the right version of the game, which you need to install the 1.10.163.0 version of the plugin).

It's been a while, so I don't remember if NAF has anything specifically, I don't think so.  The AAF patch as I recall basically hooks the AAF events and applies the height fixes, which that should work with NAF Bridge as well.

Well heck, the plug in wasn't installed.

Unsure the game version. In the details on the actual fallout launcher its 1.10.984.

Trying different versions of HHS rn, and its not seeming to fix.

That's the NG version and is not compatible. You'll need to downgrade your game to 163.

There's an F4SE plugin that will fix NG ba2 files to work with 163 automatically.

Backported Archive2 Support.

I use it and have yet to have an issue with NG version mods.

K so it *is* supposed to be 1.10.163. Checked in game and that's what the version is. Installed that version of HHS w AAF support.

When i install, the mod vs the plugin for HHS is confusing me.

Install mod > mod is enabled > plugin says Uninstalled > install plugin > proceeds to reinstall the whole mod????

Im also getting a notif saying that FO4HHS_AAF.esp is missing when loading the save.

Is there a certain version of AAF support to pick? They got like 3 in the install menu. iirc its: esp vs no esp, and performance. option.

Yeah that's can't be right if your using NAF, NAF only works on old-gen 1.10.163.0.  The way you can check is start the game and go in the settings menu, it will report the game version there.

Heels fixed finally 🥳🥳🥳

Now onto commonwealth slavers wish me luck

Tip: Uninstall Nuka Ride, then install CS.

Yes you can have both installed at the same time, but just getting things up and running, installing only one at a time saves some (or a shite ton) of potential headaches.

And never forget, both NR and CS should be considered and treated as Overhauls.

Once you've played through a few times, you'll know what "extra" mods you can add and which you really shouldn't. ;)

Oh.. bout forgot!

Good Luck!!!

wolkery already played it, but looks like don't remember it.

"The Overboss"

  • Nora's Route: Nora meets the OB and his three VIPs for the first time.
  • Norita's Route: Norita meets the three VIPs for the first time, and the OB must leave Fizztop to defend Nuka Town.

Thank, I got it😊

Any ideas on what might cause infinite loading screen when I enable Commonwealth Slavers?

Is it truly infinite, or is it patience?  For the "long" loading screens this mod fixes it for me:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44798

These are the INI settings for that mod that I use, load screens are pretty zippy at the sacrifice of the animations and background images.

You can patch the NG archives so that they are working on OG F4, using the CM toolkit

I have a question about Nuka World Glory. If I put it above Nuka Ride, should it work? Nuka World Glory only has esp.

Don't do it. There's no sense in using Nuka World Glory with my mod. Besides, that mod doesn't have any pre-combines or previs made.

Better use Nuka Ride World Patch.

I also use Rebuild Settlements, which changes the Red Rocket in Nuka-World. Could that be a problem?

Edit: By the way, neither Nuka Ride nor Nuka Ride World Patch cleans Nuka World as well as Nuka World Glory. I've tested it. If you install it in the loadorder above Nuka Ride, the compatibility will be complete.

I was looking at Vtaw 9, similar situation.  I am using Vtaw 8 and it has an extra materials pack at 4GB, it seems to be material swaps through OMODs on the workbench.  I initially run without it but it looks like just the base textures would be present (didn't realize there was OMODs on the outfits).

wardrobe 9 is no issue I have that installed all the swaps work great. But seems I will have to wait with 10 anyway as there are no FG bodyslides yet.
