AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

You have to treat this mod as if it were Fallout London. I mean, first test it with the required and suggested mods. I still remember the guy who played it with Sex Harassment and completely broke Brett's protective character into a voiceless pervert eager to sell us to a supermutant camp 😐 But I understand that it can also be quite a hassle to restructure a whole load order for a single mod.

 

In your specific case, I can only suspect that something is changing the navmeshes, that's why Brett doesn't know where to go. I know there is a mod out there on Nexus that turns the shovel museum (which is where this mission takes place) into a workshop and that for one is not a good idea. But who knows what other mods will be out there.

 

Generally speaking, you do not need to start a new save. If the culprit is navmeshes it will definitely be solved by uninstalling the culprit and reloading your save. But a click on Brett and typing “resurrect” might help give him a little push.

 

I just tested it.

I had an issue where the Golden Globes Radio wasn't appearing for ages (thought maybe I hadn't completed the quests). Turns out the vault tec distress signal from the creation club Tesla Cannon.esl was overriding the radio signal - both were playing on top of each other but it was named distress signal.

 

Since the unofficial patch relies on the tesla cannon CC I didn't want to rip it all out mid play through, so I just made an overwrite edit to TesCan.esl and removed the quest.

 

TesCanDel.esl

 

Fixed it straight away.

 

Also: JB your mods are amazing - Your stuff is what brings me back to fallout 4.

I'm running into a mod-breaking problem that I'm not entirely sure how to solve. Will spoiler out plot details.

On Far Harbor, when I go to investigate the room for clues immediately when Music disappears, I enter the rental home, a little bit of time passes, the screen fades to black, I hear the "getting beat up" sound effects, and then on the loading screen afterward (not the black screen with the loading icon in the bottom right, the actual loading screen with the rotating model and the little tip at the bottom of the screen) I crash to desktop mid-way. 



Not sure if this is a problem anyone else has experienced, but I've done damn near everything I can think of to try and fix it, to no avail. Reloading saves, restarting my computer, etc. Is there a fix for this?

had to re-install Nuka Ride as changed drives and started with a fresh install of everything.    Running on the setup that was not really designed for it so turned off about half the list of items I know would not be needed or might effect something.   Found something in this group of mods that caused all the old shrubs and trees to show up in Nuka-Town.   I am using the world patch.   I figured it had to be something dealing with workshops or settlements so just turned off most of the group so not sure which one is the problem.   Not a big deal having them off, only thing I can think of that might need some of them is the final quest currently in the Norita line.    Here is the list of items that when turned off Nuka-Town is perfect as it should be.

It could be a load order issue, maybe these were loading in after NR. When I was sorting out installing it the first time worldspace issues were usually fixed by loading NR last.

 

It's too late now, but if you use MO2 you can copy the entire profile between drives without needing to change anything.

The "easy" way is to try use something like the Crash Log Auto Scanner, it might at least point you in the right direction.

 

Going into FO4Edit and using the 'Apply Filter to Show Conflicts' filter would be the next step. Just hope that it's a mod that you can remove safely.

BTW, all the metal materials (in NR's cloth, include garbage bags, I guess things they have in common is that they are gold or silver and have a reflective effect) are purple. Am I missing some mod?

Hey can someone post versions of required mods that cause least problems, I've been having issue where noting happens after  I talk to the robot at the dinner, same goes with the old pick up truck, it just stands there.

That is an odd one, but a missing texture is usually due to assets not being loaded.  Double check all the clothing based mods to ensure you have all of them.    Also, I do not think it is an issue of overwriting as purple means "missing" in FO4.

Both the AAF fucking manual and NRs front page list the versions necessary.  I would guess your issue isn't a mod (if you following both set of instructions on those two pages) but with one of the install settings.  Also, if there are no voice files and you do not have sub titles on, that may also be a reason.  

 

Bottom line, I would check game settings for sub titles and animation pack installation, making sure you have all the versions that are listed on NRs page.

You are missing Easy Girl and TRS. The links are specified in the main page, section “Hard Requierement”. Double check that you have Hard, Softs and the suggested ones.

I think I only saw the drop-down menu in the "Hard Requirements" section and thought "that's all". But didn't notice that there was still a list underneath

Most likely you don't have Bad End Animations installed, my mod uses the assets from that mod. It's in Hard Requirements but in a spoiler (which I'll proceed to pull out in a moment, because you're not the first to miss that).

I am not sure how to read the conflict filter but the 2 files that seems to be common with Nuka Ride and Nuka Ride World patch were the the Raze and Clean Settlement mods, removing them only seemed to fix the issue in Nuka-Town.  Both are not overly needed and its very early on so a new clean start is simple to avoid any left over scripts.

So for some reason I cannot progress "The audition". Mr Corsican just does not appear for the Nora route. I've tried reloading saves, altering the stage progress, and reinstalling. I have all the requirements and it's not showing any conflicts. I saw someone else had this issue as well on next gen and the only reply was that it should still work. Does anyone know how to fix my issue?

It seems to be a bug with the BYOP patch so disable it if you have it installed, and I suggest you load a save before Mason sends you to Golden Globes.

First I want to say another thank you for your work. Both mods and both routes in MR are fantastic!

And I have some question.

How long should we wait for the next chapter of NR? Of course, approximately.
I'm sure all fans of your work ask the same question.

Thanks! I am actively working since a few days ago and that's why I come more often to the forum to answer questions between testing sessions.

 

I don't know about the date, I don't want to put approximate dates yet. Especially because this update should be the one with the most quests. And I know myself too well and I know that if I say “X” month my head will start working in a hurry. Not a good thing.

 

So for now I'll keep working and I'll share pics if I have an important progress already done.
