I am now playing the 6.8g version with AAF 1.1 on NG. If you are already using AAF 1.0, I would consider updating to 1.1 as it fixes the invisible actor (the player can become invisible in the animation due to camera collisions on AAF 1.0). I haven't seen any new issues with 1.1 yet. Otherwise i would stick to JBs description,

I'm stuck on the hunting with Brett quest.  After receiving the gift, he never leads out for the hunt.  He only has basic responses when I try to talk to him.  I tried setquest but it didn't help.

1.1 came with a bug that caused CTD in my tests in Slavers. I know Ego fixed it yesterday morning, but no idea if the fix is already implemented.

I made it a little further in the dialogue than that, it's as soon as he says follow my lead and goes into combat animation.  After that he lowers his weapon and starts talking about his son.  At that point, clicking on him gives the "this Character is busy" prompt.  Then, when he finishes his story he just stands there and only responds with "if you eat, thank a farmer".  

 

Also, Vanilla Brett looks like the underside of someone's ass crack, where might I find the replacer you use?

You have a mod that is editing my characters. Brett is a vanilla character, I think he's black. But I've edited him like in the video. The thing is, a mod of yours is editing him and it's affecting his packages to walk and go hunting. 

 

I need a Nuka World vanilla that is not edited.

EDIT:  I had a few npc replacers and Hipoly head conflicting.  I just made a patch for all of them, so I'm eager to see in game.

 

EDIT2:  Ivy...  So, I extracted the scripts and made a mod to overwrite Ivy's Scripts that I can just switch off after Nuka Ride.  This should fix my issue.

Try rebuilding BT3 bodyslide for the male bodies or Re-install BT3 if that doesn't work.

Are you building your male bodies with a erection in bodyslide? If so then move the erection slider to zero and rebuild them.

@JB.

Just curious, did you change anything with how the animations are started after the workout with Keyshawn?

The kissing worked just fine, but the other lap dance (hand job) & cardio got stuck on gathering. The PC moved but Keyshawn didn't budge from leaning on the pole.

This could have just been a weird glitch, but wanted to check.

 

Speaking of Seven Bar...

When first entering with Katelyn & Sophie, is it possible to have them just travel to their respective spots in the bedroom, instead of kind of following the player?

I say kind of follow, because they have a habit of wondering around the 2nd floor and if they're not close enough, or one of them didn't make it into the bar, it will hard lock the game entering the bedroom.

Usually I just push them, push away mod, to the end of the hallway, then enter the bedroom.

have only run 2 scenes so far, but holy cow it loads the scenes instantly vs waiting 30 seconds or more for it to gather everything.   No issues so far and not patches used.   Did get this message but on checking the discord this is normal for now as it is for both NG and non-NG so its giving a warning (not an error) for the one not used.

 

The failed plugins are:

• LL_fourPlay version 51 (LL_fourPlay_1_10_984.dll, AAF Version 1.1) reported as incompatible during query.

 

will try a few more scenes to see if any crashes or weird behavior goes on.  This is a move from the pre NG beta so I skipped 1.0

I'm going to try it tonight to see how it goes, I don't think I've edited that quest in months but on the other hand it's a pretty hidden 'mini quest' so not many people test that part.

 

Abut the seven bar, I can change the package to secure it, sure.

Knowing the AI, there are going to be problems. If Katelyn gets there first, she's going to block Sophie. 🤔

 

 

When you touch that triggerbox, this is what happens: Sophie, Katelyn and even the player are moved to their respective spots. 

 

Sophie.GetRef().MoveTo(_NR_SophieSpot01SevenBar_Train)
Katelyn.GetRef().MoveTo(_NR_KatelynSpot01SevenBar_Train)
PlayerREF.MoveTo(_NR_PlayerSpot01SevenBar_Train)

 

So, in theory, you shouldn't push the girls, because they will still be transported to their spots the moment you hit the triggerbox anyway. So you've had problems on this part?

Yes. If they're on the first floor, one isn't in the bar yet, or they aren't relatively close to the bedroom it hard locks hitting the trigger.

 

Just went through the second time with Keyshawn.

Seems only the first chosen scene works. After that the others stick at gathering.

They used to work just fine. Haven't changed anything, that I know of anyway.

Lets not get to proper! I really like less than "correct" parts. It really gives the mod a unique feel, like you're really are in another world and this is how they talk after 210 years.

Nice. Thanks! The first versions of Nuka Ride, at least up to NR 5, were done with Google Translate and, yeah, prob. Cito-worthy sentences came out.

I almost spit out the coffee 🤣  I write Spanish very well, but it was no use in the face of the Google Translate maelstrom. DeepL is a much better tool.

Has anyone else been having issues with Kells, Jesse, and Cito being labeled as enemies in the Norita route for Lost in the Jungle?

 

I get put in the cage by the Gunner and when they entered, they're red health bars and interrupt the dialog, then proceed to shoot me to death

I can see a probable cause. In order not to fight with the Gunner, the three of them become Gunner Faction briefly (right in that scene).

 

Try this. Put yourself on Gunner Faction before they show up. 

 

player.addtofaction 58303

 

when the quest is over: 

 

player.removefromfaction 58303

 

Please let me know how it went, I can add it in the next update as a countermeasure.

you need to add the parameter after the console command, so it's

player.addtofaction 58303 0

(0=friendly, 1=allied)

 

that seems to have worked, because now the dialog is a cutscene and proceeding normally
