Well, it's actually a pretty harmless mod list. 


The only thing I can think of right now is the following. 

 

  • Uninstall and delete everything related to Nuka Ride. Make sure there is nothing left. 
  • Uninstall Commonwealth Slavers and its patches just to test for a while. 
  • Reinstall Nuka Ride 6.8.0d and this time choose to install the source code. 
  • Load the save where you ended version 6.7, before talking to Charlotte. 

Yes, I've slimmed it down to play your mods. :)

 

Updating a mod in MO2 and choosing replace already clears out everything (they are kept in separate folders and a VFS is used to overlay them). Reinstalling Nuka Ride with source code and unloading Commonwealth Slavers seems to have solved it (probably mostly the latter). :) I managed to play through the date quest that way.

It appears this optional flag your talking about fixes the dialogue issue with my clone, all good new with the new version of the hotfix.  Thank you.

That is always there. But now I have doubts lol. I tested it with a save where the OB and Maxson are already sitting on Fizztop. I tested it to see if I hadn't screwed up after introducing the new route. 


But I didn't test it from the beginning, when the OB's daughter sends you to ask for permission. I'll check it.

New version of the Nuka Ride World Patch is up!

 

Updated for Nuka Ride 6.8.

New locations added in 6.8 will be tweaked later.

But for now there shouldn't be any problems with the latest changes.

I took all that out. You have a mod who is putting them back in. Can you think of any? Like PRP.  

 

I don't think it will affect Izzy's patch because he never edited that cell. But I cannot assure you 100%.

It looks like the Scripted Face Tints 1.2 available in the link is perhaps incompatible?  There is a function (ApplyHeadPartIfNone) your calling that isn't apparently available in the SFT_API script.  See Papyrus log below:

I can't believe it! You have to use the Nexus version. I thought @lee3310 had uploaded version 1.3 to both platforms.

Just finished 6.8 Norita.  I'm really liking where the story is going you are doing a great job.  I'm even starting to feel a little sympathy for the OB.

I have to say for my personal preference, I wasn't overly crazy about the final scene with Poodle.  I was all prepared for a war of words and was kind of confused as to what to do when that didn't happen.  I also thought the fog scene carried on too long especially since I really didn't know what was going on.  Need to play that one again to try to figure things out.  I really liked how you treated the sister and the way you set up the special girls.   Was happy to see the little scene with Sophie in the treehouse, personally would like to see more of that.

You are a great story teller and Izzy does a fantastic job matching the animations to the story.  Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next chapter!

Were there any significant changes to the Nora side or just minor tweaks?

Thank you. Honestly I think I have abused of dialogues in many parts. Ok it's a dialogue mod, but it needs to be made more dynamic. Or maybe it was just my feeling because I've replayed and retested a lot of times these quests.

And just where I should have used dialogue in spades (where I should have better explained why Poodle becomes mortal or that Harlowe is already dead and her spirit is sent by the Hub to save the protagonist), I decided to skip it for a reason that I'm having trouble finding in myself. I think I didn't want to overload such a short scene with too much info; may edit it more these days. 


In perspective I understand those who want to take some time to go to the Commonwealth to shoot and build stuffs. Well, luckily we already have the scooter and Norita definitely knows how to take care of herself so it's pretty lore friendly to go out there and explore (in company with the silly sis).

It seems that the purple fog is not catching on with many users, from what I have read here and privately. In the next update I will take it out and put the red storm. ⛈️

@JB. I'm stuck at _NR_Sanctuary 630

As soon as I talk to Isabela the screen goes black, I can use the console but nothing happens. I "might" have messed something up.... was on the phone. LOL

There may be a glitch of mine now that you mention it. It could be caused by not having Nezzar Outfits.  🙈 (need to doble check first). 

 

Edit. Nah. I checked. Everything is in order. Hmm, make sure you're not wearing the (NR) Swimsuit, but the (NR) Isabella Swimsuit.

SetStage _NukaRide_Girls 250    should be enough. You'll teleport to the bathroom with Gage.

Yep wearing the (NR) Isabella Swimsuit  and I can carry on with the dialogue, not seeing anything just guessing. Got to the point of acting sexy for MR Nate..... not sure whats next..

Oh reloading doesn't help. Actually restarted the game 3 times just before talking to Isabela. That usually clears any issues. No luck this time.

 

Got through it with a black loading screen! Rather proud of that feat! 😜

 

As soon as Nate leaves, it fades back in and everything is normal. That was interesting!

The fade out only should last 2 seconds.

I did the pre-combines of that sector. I don't know if it will be useful but I'll leave it there. That's the only thing I can think of.  😀

Its easier to merge into one mod. MO automatically assign the same mod folder name. You want everything in one spot. More efficient. It makes it harder to have to now change the names of the folders each time. I could see the user was not very familiar with how MO works so I try to make it as simple as possible for new players.
