Yeah, I'm seeing just a few of my edits I need to remove/change so far.  Haven't made it to the garden part yet. Will have to update my navmesh for sure.

You don't have to do that. The voice files can be installed as a separate mod. :)

Nora route, after starting A Date with the Boss you can find Willam's motorcycle is missing.  This might have been in 6.7.6 as well, I don't remember, not a big deal really.

 

One other thing I was trying to get the tears to work, it appears it is activated through scripted facial tints which I enabled in the mod config under Nuka Ride > Scenes, but it doesn't seem to apply tints.  Does it only fire for certain scenes?  It also wasn't clear for SFT if Garden of Eden was required or not (it sounded optional, and I tried it both ways).  Any tips on getting that working?  I just went through the Lucy in the Sky and was looking for tears or something there.  Not sure if SFT is NG compatible, and it sounds like maybe JB is running on old gen engine still as AAF 171 has been recommended.

I'm unable to start "A Date with the Boss" after updating to 6.8.0d (Norita path, virgin). I'm just told to take some well-earned rest and the quest target remains "Report to Charlotte". Sleeping 24 hours makes no difference.

 

Interestingly, it could start that quest in version 6.7.6. To avoid bugs, I loaded an earlier save from before having done that though when trying 6.8.0d.

Did you talk to Corsican?  IIRC she tells you to talk to Corsican, but the marker doesn't change.

Yes. He only has his usual lines where I can film a few different scenes.

 

EDIT: Something is weird. If I use the console to run player.setstage _NukaRide_Lucy 1000, that seems to have applied even when loading older saves. Not sure how that's possible. 

 

EDIT 2: I tried reloading a save from early in the Lucy mission but that is broken now too. I can't progress from the intial dialogue options with her father. :( I didn't think my save would get damaged if I tried to progress further as long as I started from a save from where the mod told me to save and wait for the next version when starting 6.8.

Nora route, Made in Heaven quest.

 

In the lab scene on the cross, Baldwyn never approachs instead he wanders off to the new room with the bed (removed Nuka World Patch) and never returns.  If I do a moveto player on his reference you can start the dialogue but he wanders off back to the room.  If your quick enough you can progress the dialogue to where he fights Boris, but in the room with the synth she just keeps repeating the same thing.  I don't recall having to do anything other than talk to her to progress the quest, so I assume it's tied to the original problem of Baldwyn wandering off.

Same issue here, and if you force the dialogue with Baldwyn to make them kill each other then the dialogue with the synth is buged. Tried some SetStage commands but nothing did the trick.

setstage _NukaRide_Heaven 360 worked for me at that stage when the synth clone wouldn't talk.

I got my wires crossed between Nora and Norita's route. Thanks, I correct it now.

Does anyone have a translation of version 6.8 into Russian? I'm just complementing the existing translation that is posted on this site. Maybe someone already has a ready-made one?

@JB. Sorry for bothering you but do you have any suggestions for how to make the quests work again for me? Even if I go back to older saves the mod doesn't progress properly anymore. :( If I use the console commands to progress, it also doesn't work properly (Nuka Theater is boarded up, etc.)

 

I royally screwed up somehow. Was really looking forward to the new quests.

Wait, this reminds me of something. Basically, you can advance manually, but my mod can't advance you automatically. 

 

You have a mod or rather a patch. I don't quite remember what it's called, but it's a patch that automatically puts a symbol on the items so you can see it.  Does it ring a bell? Because you have to run it again. You have to redo that patch. Item sorter? 

 

Tell me if it rings a bell. 🤔

No, that doesn't ring a bell unfortunately. :(

 

The only patches I can think of are the "Ultimate AAF Patch" and the "Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch".

 

I'm still thinking it might be because I started the Date with the Boss quest once in 6.7.6 and screwed up my save somehow, even though I later overwrote that save with an older one. I would love for that not to be the case though. :)

It sounds like your talking about FallUI, probably this module specifically.  I routinely run with FallUI (including FallUI Inventory and the sorter module) but haven't noticed any issue, but I believe it has an ESP/ESL that overrides base game items to modify their description to add category tags in the form of "[Armor] Original item desc" which is used by one of the Inventory UI to collapse items by category.

I had a similar issue. See here.

It turned out to be M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter.  I inadvertently had Quest tags selected in CS Plugins. When I re-ran it without selecting Quest Tags the issue went away.

Well, it's actually a pretty harmless mod list. 


The only thing I can think of right now is the following. 

 

  • Uninstall and delete everything related to Nuka Ride. Make sure there is nothing left. 
  • Uninstall Commonwealth Slavers and its patches just to test for a while. 
  • Reinstall Nuka Ride 6.8.0d and this time choose to install the source code. 
  • Load the save where you ended version 6.7, before talking to Charlotte.

Thanks for the quick turn around, I can confirm the Baldwyn problem is solved for Nora's route and the quest can progress, but when I talk to my clone she just keeps repeating her name line.  That still requires the console command to bump the stage to 360.

Weird, I just tested it from the kidnapping until returning to Nuka World and finishing “Made In Heaven”. 

 

But I checked a box that is definitely going to help in the conversation. There is a third optional character in this conversation (in Norita Route), but I didn't check it as optional. I uploaded the hotfix again. 


The William's bike thing is a bug of mine but I will fix it via script in the next update.

Speaking of Made In Heaven, in the Nora's route, I pretty sure you got to talk with OB for permission at the very beginning and you meet Maxson for the first time. In my new run I don't have this option, is it normal ? or did I just missed some conditions ?
