You need to look in..
\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE

and look for the Buffout crash log that starts with..

crash-2024.......log

Yea my bad thats what I meant. I just recall opening the crash .log file in it and it generated information that was diagnosed in these forums...

Its ONLY my "Norita" character... I thought it mightve been acting up because I re-enabled the commonwealth slavers mod for my other character when I made it to the stopping point on "Norita"... but it wasn't even that.

 

There is litterally nothing on my end, mod-wise, it could be from what im seeing... I added no mods that could be causing issues... it must be something that was added to Nuka Ride from version 6.7->6.8... its the only explanation at this point 👀

I'm not sure about that. If someone reports the same bug as you then yes we would be dealing with something that could be due to my mod. As I told you, I uploaded a buggy version of NR 6.8.0d, but I fixed it a while ago and you can tell by the size of the plugin. Have you double/triple checked that?

still no male hetero route for the mod? be able to be a golden globes actor just like the chosen one in fallout 2, maybe by putting Mags Black as a Mistress for the male route (i mean it would make sense since The Operators are wherever there's caps at stake) or a new female raider overboss that tricks the male protagonist (Nate or  whatever into the pron business), catching slaves to turn them to actresses and all that

I have no real interest in doing that. But it looks like you are already developing ideas. If there isn't a mod with what you want....

I got the latest "version E" you uploaded. My "Nora" character loads just fine every time.

 

I did not add mods to the game since i made it to the end of "Norita" 6.7... the only thing it could've been on MY end was re-enabling Commonwealth Slavers for my "Nora" character while I waited for 6.8... but I tried to load into "Norita" forgetting to disable it first, then I tried disabling it... both resulting in a crash to the desktop everytime with zero help from Buffout 4 or any of the other tools you can use.

I think what causes the crash after the first loading screen when starting a new game is the “High Heel System” mod, I deactivated it and it no longer crashes. My Fallout version is nex-gen (1.10.984.0).

 

Edit: Reviewing well “High Heel System” has support for AAF, for not reading all those options I had the crashes haha. by choosing that option there are no more crashes.

just finished the Norita route as virgin - have to say that is so different then previous playthroughs, and I love it.   Love the new characters brought in and can see a place for Isabela as a Dom in the club, a special service offered by OB or even as something with the porn studio.   One small note is the "i should visit the OB" questline starts the second you finish the last one, and is a total repeat so kind of boring and annoying as you can't tell if its actually something you should bother with or not, not like you gain anything from doing it over and over.   That aside, this line of the quest is so far the best out of all options I have tried (maybe add a few more options to do oral with Larson and friends? I loved that option in the garden pool and thought it could also be used for poker night - happy ending with 4 man + Sophie blowjob gangbang scene or something like that)

Managing the story of Norita, I came to the conclusion that she is somewhat more pleasant for me, the main thing is to immediately abandon the "virgin" function. In general, I was wrong that I had previously been somewhat biased about the news about adding a story about a new character.

still unable to figure out the nuka cop outfit...its like the only outfit provided that does this and can only assume its conflicting with something.   I have re run bodyslide for that outfit specifically and as a batch - reset the body, run multiple presets etc.   The outfit looks fine in outfit studio but drastically different in game - like only parts are being morphed the rest to wrong body.

I kinda like it more than I thought after the whipping scene and the mule. Kinda makes sense.

I've never had an issue with the high heels system. And like JB said you are brave to try the next gen version, there are many closed doors to some good mods now sadly 😕 would be nice if Bethesda realized that mods make the game and those who know why PCs are better than consoles will know EXACTLY what I mean by that 👀

 

That aside though it's good you got it up and running.

 

Have to say though... im jealous of those who DONT have to start a new game after 48+ hours of gameplay in "Norita's" Nuka Ride due to an update 😑 lol

Maybe the first part just caught me so off guard. It is not what I expected from here. Normally, I come here once in a while to see what's up. I was like, ok, let me try this and see how much I can get through, but then WHAM! I was like, omg, this is awesome. I know people say it is a prn mod, but to me it really feels more like a romance mod and I couldn't be happier. Just this morning I was thinking up ideas of other things maybe JB could do and locales. Like maybe take over that city area at the beginning with the deathclaw and the museum and have a different story. Maybe like a Norita (alternate universe) who is clueless and needs help to stay alive and meets a warlord in charge of that area. At first maybe he was going to enslave her, but pre war observations or something else help him see things differently and he is able to work through some problems based on her insight and he starts to realize her worth and she softens his heart. Maybe wrap Kellogg in there too (I like those interactions. Just SOOO much good in this mod).

 

But yeah, I really like that they are closer, but JB, before you say it...yes, it is complicated. I get it. 😁

 

I like the new beer scenes and dialog options before they are intimate and I hope those continue to be a thing going forward. 🥰

 

And Sophie I love the interactions with her and I think there were more in the first episode. She is a great friend; all their adventures.

 

I wouldn't live without either episode given the option.

 

And now JB has me addicted to this like crack. 🤣

Ok so im noticing when I try to load into the "Norita" save it says I'm missing commonwealth slavers and all the addons/patches, even hardcore raiders/gunners... however... I NEVER once saved in that file WITH commonwealth slavers being enabled to begin with, as i read the raiders "kill" the lil eyebot at the start so it just seemed rather obvious... did you, JB, change something in the update to require both to be enabled? Seems odd, but if you had your reasons 🤷‍♂️

 

Edit: just confirmed it still crashes with CS enabled too... which is the only thing that SHOULD be causing the crash to begin with 🤦‍♂️

It's really more intended for those who are part of his harem. I will remove that objective for no bitches. 

Well, from what I see you're almost almost playing the cannonical story. I wrote the mod with the premise that the girl decides to join the Overboss's harem for protection. There are a couple more quests and more dialogue unlocked,

I never did anything like “tell a branching story” and I think it shows because the content if you go off the cannon route is less.

In your save you had C. Slavers installed at some point. That's it. When no one but you is reporting a very specific and killer bug like CTD without C. Slavers, you should stop and think that maybe it's a problem on your end. 😭

Highly recommend using profiles with your mod manager, especially with a overhaul mod like this one or CS.  Could you play this mod with other overhaul/invasive mods, probably, but it's not my cup of tea.

 

In any case, I upgraded from 6.7.6 to 6.8 with both Norita & Nora paths and had no problems, that was with the NG installation.  As I mentioned I haven't really noticed any significant issues with the mod on NG or OG, and I have both versions of the game installed across 3 instances (OG instance, NG instance, OG instance for FOLON since I didn't want the mod clutter in my OG instance) with MO2 and probably 30 or 40 different profiles across all of them for my different mod load-outs.  I have a mod load-outs with SS2, without SS2 (because that shit is HEAVY), just NR + deps, just CS + deps, MHK, new land mods, etc. etc.

 

In any case, for me NR profile is just the required & optional recommended dependencies, and a few QOL mods that I like such as FallUI and such.  I basically treat it like a total conversion and stay in the story/world created for the mod, and I use a different profile to play the main game without NR.

 

Anyways, this is my opinion, your welcome to do what you want -- just sharing what works/worked for me to reaffirm that I don't think the upgrade is the issue here and others I am sure have upgraded and continued their story.  Technically from what I understood there is nothing new for Nora (just a WIP quest that you have to console into), but Norita does have a story continuation and that went through fine for me.  Which I am testing out the non-virgin route to see if Norita can uhh have relations with Nate (that shit was getting hot, and the virgin route couldn't seal the deal).

In the end I'm going to turn all the forum members into romantics because of this story. 😭 Imagine the average user comes in here wanting to download a porn mod and ends up tearing up at the farewell scene in Sanctuary or softening up the Overboss to accept a date xD 

 

No plans to get into vanilla history. But I do want to go back to Sanctuary and tell more stories. Specifically because Shaun wants to use Norita to "get into" her memories and meet his parents.

I didn't mean for you to stop posting, I simply meant for you to stop and think that maybe it's not my mod as you are claiming. Yesterday I started loading NR 6.5 and 6.6 and 6.7 saves after reading your reports and have had no problems.

hmm, part of the Harem but declined to get the iron mark.   It was almost a passive request by the OB as to be honest there was not really much need to be more protected based on how the story was going.   Its even commented on that she is the only pretty girl in the harem but even the OB couldn't conquer.   Loved the 1st date, and only get a kiss as good girls don't bring the guy inside, he would have to earn that with more dates.   It also commented by almost everyone how her virginity is protected by everyone.   I will check the quest to see if any were missed, I did notice that some where shorter due to the virgin state and not allowing any sex.   I had skipped special girls before when I left the hardcore content off by accident and it was really tame being a virgin there was not even anything with Tessa besides her telling you she would kill anyone who followed.   I plan to replay it as non virgin and agree to get the mark while waiting for the next update.   I loved this playthrough as a non hardcore version by default, it was really fun and there is a lot of family building and possibly even love between the OB and the player.   Guess you could call this the Romantic route, where the player can act like a badass, bend the big tough guy to her liking as husband material not the warlord and keep all those others out of her pants (mostly, assuming she has any on while dancing.  'Pure' cock tease) and prove Dallas right in she is the best cocksucker in the wasteland.
