I still don't agree a lot of people wear skimpy clothes for their partners. You can have that in the most purest relationships. Aswell as the whole piercing and tattoo thing. Still don't make you corrupted. As for Noritas mindset no It is your mindset for her that changed. You still have the same choice you had when the paths linked up. Right from the first audition you have a choice to what your mindset is. And each of the quests even after the paths linked you don't do the shit Nora had to do. You can say no to it all. I don't want to go into too much detail for spoiler reasons. But look at all the quests they are all different. You are not corrupted. Everyone protects you from that path. When you are done playing the norita path play it again and pay close attention to the dialogue and your choices. I have a girl that have gone all romance route. And said no to most things. That being said you are not blocked from turning into a total slut but you don't have to so you could go corrupted in your view but corruption is not the goal for Norita. JB will tell you that. That is Nora's role.

 

It would be really boring if both paths had to go the same direction. And JB does not do Boring. I think I should mention I have been testing both NR and CS for JB for a very long time so I am pretty much well versed in what is going on in both. A bunch of us OG's had a lot of suggestions that was added over the years. And no Im not trying to be a know it all. I am just mentioning it because I had a feeling you might think I don't know about the mods.

Hey @JB. love the mod! There are 2 things I'm wondering about.

 

First, why no high heel sounds? I even set the footsteps slider to max and lowered the others to see if maybe I just couldn't hear it but it's not there. I even installed the HHS sound patch, while it runs with your mod and doesn't crash or cause any issues, there is still no sound but I think that's because that mod needs to be tweaked/applied to specific items?

 

Second, the menu music is really good. Are all of these songs included in the in-game radio?

JB is an excellent story teller, and I think its awesome that between his two mods, he has given ways that we all have went differently with our own stories.

I don't know if Norita has that change in the most perverse route. She can get very slutty if you go that route and that may definitely fall into the category of corruption. In any case the one who is changing his core values is the Overboss.

 

I'm just rewriting The Special Girls, which is a mission where the protagonist must recruit 4 pre-war girls to work as whores in the Nuka Club, and boy do I have to change a lot of things. In this mission we bring in two young girls. Norita definitely sees the scenario and thinks she could be in their shoes. And she has to reproach the OB. "The man I know wouldn't do this to those girls."  

 

She probably won't be able to convince him if she's not Overboss Bitch. But if she is OB Bitch, he could definitely have a change of heart. Something like: "The girls won't work, but their mothers are going to work twice as hard, got it?"

 

(I didn't get to that part yet, I'm with the technical part on GNN now).

I can see how hard it would be with the special girls. What you can maby do is let norita convince the OB to give the young girls non sexual serving jobs in the seven bar instead while the mothers work in the club. That way all the girls are occupied thereafter.

Nah it's all good! One of the great things about LL mods is that there is a variety for a bunch of different fetishes and interests. Unfortunately not one for everyone I think... need more modders lol. But definitely a good selection. In this case I just think we disagree on something, and that's totally fine.

 

I did notice your humble 1.4k posts lol. I've also been around since the "golden days", 2012-2013. Glad to see there are many of us left!

Maybe OB could "offer" (threaten? even if a "soft" threat as he does often with Norita) to have Norita take the place of one of the girls? I remember that quest... been a long time since I played that far in.

Cool stuff. I had another account but in my old age I totally forgot my account details. So I created this one lol. Anyway yeah no its always fun for me to figure out what JB is planning next. I also like discussing people different interpretations. I do get a bit overzealous now and then so don't mind me.

I was playing as the Overboss Bitch, the route is neutral, as I have skipped most quests (have played through your amazing mod some five times now 😅).

 

I was able to finally be able to continue by using stage 305 instead where you lose to Tessa instead, which seems to work.

 

Another thing I can report without enough context(I know), is that going the Nora route, it seems many of the first quests bug out if you skip them. But things become smoother for skipping later in the mod.

I been here since April 2013 too!   I just don't post as much, and forgot to check back for a couple years until the update spurred me to check what was there for fallout before they broke it, and JBs mods got me  interested again.     Back then I was into Oblivion and Skyrim.  Have thought of starting another run of that, too!

Hey guys so I updated to try Norita's route & everything was working pretty much perfectly beforehand but when I try to start a new character, I just get the title screen playing endlessly. The game won't start. All I changed was taking Commonwealth Slavers out my modlist but I don't see how that would prevent me from doing a new game. Any ideas? Cheers

Not an issue with Commonwealth Slavers, unless you removed the mod mid-save. Likely another mod is broken or conflicting in your modlist. First step is to check xedit for conflicts, then either resolve with patches or start disabling mods.

With what JB said with corruption he is right, there is no denying that nora becomes more corrupt, but from the story, where a 1 is innocent and 10 is a used up whore, Nora starts at a 5-6 and ends at a 10. Was just hoping for a situation where she starts at a 1, 2, or 3 instead of a 5-6. Because considering how easily she fucks people on the first day, the same day her husband died no less(from her perspective and if you go straight to nuka), no way shes below a 5.  But at the end of the day, still a fun mod and thanks for the effort that was given towards making it!

Nora route is actually still pretty light to be honest. If memory serves I think JB mentioned adding something later on that would make it make sense. And that Nora and Nate's marriage was not so wholesome and stable even before the war. (I speak under correction here)

is it the actual title screen or is it stuck in "black screen" between the "war never changes mini movie" and seeing your character (to choose which sex)?

if it is the "black screen" you (probably) have a mod that is causing a pop up box to appear that you cannot see. 

if this is the issue try hitting the action key (E by default for keyboard and A for x-box controller) a few times. 

i have to do this every time i start a new game from main menu as i have not yet figured out which mod is giving me that pop-up that i cannot see.

yes that was me but its tricky its fixable but only if you did not talk to charlotte yet after you came back from the made in heaven quest. Otherwise what happens if you run the fix. The door appears but then both lucy and that dude disappears causing another issue. Let me just check for that code JB had it in one of my posts here somewhere. So load a save just as you came back don't walk anywhere. type "setstage _nukaride_lucy 320" But like I said this will remove lucy from the studio if you talked to charlotte.

Yeah, it's just permanently stuck on the title screen. I can play my current game fine but it won't let me start a new character. Never had this issue before so I'm kinda stumped

In that case I think you should ask JB and just mention after which quest it was. I think that would make a difference since you have not get to the lucy quest it might cause even more issues if you used the setstage.

May be you need check numbers of the mods. If you have more than 255 mods you can't start new game. Switch off some mods and try start. You can switch on later

Awesome mod! Played as young Norita, and I enjoyed this walkthrough even more than I did as adult Nora, two years ago, when it was the only option.

I have a problem with the "Night Fever" quest.

After the dance "lesson", the PC and Aegis (Adolf) is stuck in Commonwealth with some Gunners.
When I turn to Adolf, I have four option, but when I choose anyone of them, nothing happens. I only have a message in the notification corner: "You cannot go that way".
sqs xx00446f says, the last completed stage is the 265th.
not set: 2, 3, 19-22, 24-33, 35, 270-310.
done: 1, 4-18, 23, 34, 100-162, 165-265.
