Just enter Nuka World via the vanilla route and NR will shut down with a notice of what's going on. Getting off the train in NW will trigger NR to shutdown.

Disabling the mod on a running game will cause issues.

Keep in mind, once you shut it down and start the vanilla NW run, it cannot be restarted on that save. So, I'd suggest just not installing NR on a new run, if you want to play the vanilla route. No sense in wasting space. ;)

Yeah my bad next time I know better.

 

somehow when I entered Nuka World via Monorail the quest with Porter Gage didn't start I was standing at the nuca cola car arena at the intercom and nothing happend not sure if this is caused by Nuka Ride or any other mod I use.  But when Nuka Ride shuts down this issue shouldn't be ccaused by nuka ride especially I also got issues with NPCs not talking in other Quest mods....

this is just a theory and I will try it, but most of the times I ran into issues was when the game went into forced camera angles.   An example would be the part where I first crashed with the frag grenade, was right before the camera goes into into high overhead 3rd person of the family eating (last stage of the quest before you go hunting with Brett).   The vision in the fun house you lose control of the camera (training day with Patti and Dallas), and I just had an issue learning to dance with Patti, when she tells you to warm up and you again lose control of the camera though this time it doesn't crash you just get stuck in that animation.   I am going to disable the 3rd person camera mod I use and see if any of those 3 scenes function properly.

I forgot to answer you. Previously the mod was programmed to work as you say, albeit backwards. First Nuka Ride and then the DLC.

 

But then my mod hogged everything. Weapons, armor, parks, unlockables. Everything is unlocked by my mod now.

This mod disables a lot of triggerboxes in Nuka World, as the ultimate goal is to replace the DLC. All unlockables will be unlocked little by little with Nuka Ride. So basically don't uninstall the mod. If you want to play the classic DLC, start a new game without Nuka Ride installed.

You can play the mod with an explosive minigun from start to finish if you want to, you just won't use it often. 😄

 

Well, I already have a grenade equipped, I'll see if anything unusual happens to me during my tests. 
 

ok its not actually the frag grenade that caused the CTD at the Dunmores, it was this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1326 and same with the stuck in animation of the warmup with Patti when training to dance.   Sadly it did not fix the visions hard crash forcing reboot.   But that mod should go on the bad list for sure.   I am not there yet on the Norita route, but maybe it will fix the issue in the cell in Lucy in the Sky as well, though I think you mentioned it called on a Bad Ending animation which I did not have installed last time I tried that quest line.   I noticed that one of the scenes was labelled using an electricution chair, which I have never seen an animation of before.   The guy did mention the guys from Corvega had given him a gift, but the room was empty besides the two actors and the cage.

Just a tip, when running Nuka Ride, disable any mod that touches Nuka World including it's raiders, and... any mod that effects Diamond City or Gunner Plaza. That includes ones that mess with named Gunners.

Nuka Ride needs to have freedom to run through the streets unhindered like the dude throwing imaginary grenades while riding his imaginary motorcycle. ;)

During my current game around lvl 50 I decided that the character I play (now lvl80 vanilla campaign and far harbour finished)  should play nuka world

and a new character nuka ride, wasn't aware that this is not possible.

So i have to change my plans and my lvl 80 General of the Minutemen will have to find a new job in the adult entertainment and a new character will do the nuka world dlc.

or maybe for immersion my lvl 80 charcter stays in the Comonwealth and a new lvl 1 character will do nuka ride.

With alternate start, you can have your girl start as Level 50 or so.

Just saying. No need to play this as a Level 1.

I console in just one good weapon, to handle those pesky rad rats.

Dunno as I don't use it. But, for the first run I'd disable it.

Some mods can be ran with NR, but you'll be able to figure out which of your mods will work and which won't.

Still, for the first run through, disable everything that "might" interfere. That way you'll have less bugs and smother play. You'll also notice a few NPC's like Gage are clones so mods that change the vanilla version wont effect the NR clone.

You can always play the Nora route as she got bored with being a fake general, who is treated like a privet and wanted to follow her suppressed perversions.

She's an experimental gen 4 synth anyway, so why not see what happens when overriding the base programing. ;)

I am getting deeper into the Norita line and I have to say this option is simply amazing.   The pc is starting to like her power to manipulate men to get what she wants and her situation is getting better and better.   Not even halfway yet, but if Lucy in the Sky is the same as the main line, I really hope that after that and she gets over the shock of that, she getd determined to keep her freedom by going to grandma and Nisha to become a highly skilled knife woman, maybe even get the title Goddess of the Blade and can stand next to the OB and be wanted (but can never have) and feared as she will kill anyone who crosses her.   Hopefully the story allows her to keep all men besides the OB out of her pants and when she is shooting a movie (yet to get that far) yet she will use her tongue (kissing), mouth (oral), and body (dancing. skimpy or nude depending on situation) to bend men to her will for her and the OB.

Finally got Nuka Ride working in NG and latest AAF. Everything seems to be going smoothly so far in both routes. Knock on wood, fingers crossed and all that...

In  NukaRide_PositionData.xml there is the position

    <position id="NR_Twerking" animation="NR_F_Twerking" location="Twerking"  tags="Hidden,NR_Twerking,NoStopHHS" isHidden="true" />.

 

But there is no "Twerking" furniture group.

Thank you, will fix them. Funny, the “twerking” in furniture does not impede the scene. Pic below.

They are animations for the next update. These animations/idles are not yet available, but I was forced to update my XML because the new version of AAF is not compatible with the old ones. 

 

 

I have tested it with the new version and there will be problems where I actively use the doppelganger. 

 

  • The ritual in Far Harbor
  • The first time Maxson arrives and chats with the Overboss.
  • And the twerking scene too

 

They are scenes where the doppelganger have dialogues... but there is no doppelganger in the new version of AAF. So it requires a manual fix from me.

Ah, ok, I thought you were referring to the fixes I uploaded yesterday to make my XMLs compatible with the latest version of AAF. I uploaded it to Mega. 


The twerking has changed, I just checked. And indeed also those actions.
