Personally I avoid both ends of the train, NW & Commonwealth underground. I do however clear the Commonwealth side of the Gunners. That way I can safely fast travel IF I want.

 

thanks, i guess i'll just avoid anything that have to do with nuka world while exploring the commonwealth..

You go to the commonwealth aswell so be careful who you kill over there. A bunch of those mobs are needed alive for NR

Err, question regarding the outfits once again xD Should pup outfit from Kali's store have any textures? Because mine doesn't.

 

edit: Actually after checking latest bodyslide files it seems like there's no such outfit , or slidersets for it, so not having textures would make sense, but for some reason Kali isn't voiced. I'm pretty sure she wasn't mute last time I played. I have last voicepack I could find (the one from Mega), plus every other actor is voiced, even goons from Reno that came for Kali were voiced. (the ones you met nearby Drumlin dinner)

Should it be like this?

Hi,

 

Is there an easy way to remove restrictions for armor slots for NR outfits (like using F4Edit)?

I've played through CS and happened to lose my hand :/. Then I found this cool mod Synth Swap and adjusted it a bit to my liking. So instead of having my hand magically regrown at the end, I thought that Dwane might have provided me with a prosthetic arm, which I could gradually improve upon during the game (like getting a gift from Father in NR quest would give better hand prosthetic instead of some piercings) and slowly upgrading to real synth arm (in the end simply removing the piece as if it is indistinguishable from a real thing, and giving myself some free perk for Iron fist or strength to simulate still having the roboarm).

But the annoying thing now is, that most of the NR outfits consider this arm and hand as armor and remove them during the game (like after showering), so I have to go to inventory, unequip everything, equip the arm, and then reequip the outfit.

 Use that since it is armor you can add it to items that will not be stripped during sex scenes. I am not sure about the shower tho but its worth a try. Works great

Thanks for the advice, but I already use this for sex scenes and it works great. But the issue is with the game trying to equip NR outfits. When it does, it detects that I have something that is considered armor and unequips them. So I have to manually reequip. I thought that maybe there is some keyword attached to NR outfits, which I could remove?

I think you all missed this part of the question.   If he is done with NR none of the rest matters as I have read, enter Nuka World, kill gang bosses, etc.

The only thing is if NR is to be played again a new game is required.

And didn't I read the gang bosses are clones anyway so killing them in the commonwealth is OK?!

Have you tried changing the slot to something else in xedit ?

hey for some reason the constructible radio in the workshop doesn't play the Golden Globes Radio

 

it works 100% fine on the PipBoy though. I believe it was something to do with the Gunners Plaza mission being skipped (because of my own stupiity I skipped that quest in my current save, I forgor 💀 to turn off the sensitive option or something)

 

Is there a dirty way to get the radio running again? If not, that's ok

Hello author, I am unable to have a conversation with Caesar in version 6.4.7. I only have the first sentence spoken by the protagonist, and there is no response afterwards. May I ask what is the reason for this

Did you follow Duke there?  Duke is the eyebot outside the vault.

If not did you read the letter?

I haven't messed with f4edit in a bit but can you change it from an armor item to a clothing item in there? That's what I do for a lot of armors in Skyrim (let's be honest "armor" is a stretch for a lot of them anyway lol) so that they don't get taken by SL Survival licenses and I can just wear them as clothes with no armor value. Idk how NR scans for what to remove but if it is just taking anything tagged as armor instead of clothing it could just be as simple as changing it to a clothing item.

I'm either missing something or Fallout does not have the same distinction between clothes and armor as Skyrim does. So from what I see, this is no go :(

I dont know how that prosthetic arm works, but i would try the following:

1. Make a backup of the .esp which has the prothesis

2. Open F4Edit and select Nuka Ride and the Prothesis file

3. Look into Nuka Ride in the Armor path and see which slot the items are using (it seems to be always 33 for heels and 39 for the outfit, 55 for backpacks, 47 for glasses and 50 for chokers, so you could skip that step. But maybe useful when you also have this problem with other mods. For example here the Gym Outfit:

On the right you see the used slots for that:

4. Now look into your prothesis.esp and check which slot that prothesis is using. If you have other clothing mods you would like to check them too, to avoid conflicts with them.

 

5. Assuming, that your prothesis does not use Slot 33, you can proceed to step 6. Otherwise i fear its not so easy to fix (i wouldnt know how). But maybe you could google that.

 

6. If it uses the same slot like the nuka ride outfit, you would like to change that on your prothesis. You could set it 40 or 45 for example (see here a list of the slots you could use):

7. Do this for the same item in the Armor Addon and Armor category.

8. Save and test.

I just checked and yeah it looks like it's not as simple as Skyrim. You could mess with the keywords and see what you can do to emulate what NR armors have, you'll just have to make NR a master of what you wanna add the keywords to. Otherwise go to the FNAM section in xEdit and change all the armor values to 0 and remove any damage resistances such as energy, radiation, etc. as well. I forget what section they're in in xEdit. If you do remove/add keywords I would make a note of what they originally were in case something breaks. Otherwise just reinstalling through MO will restore them as well you'll just have to rebuild the bodyslides and such, idk about Vortex I haven't used it in a long time. I took a screenshot of Gage's outfit from NR's keywords and FNAM section if you wanna reference that:

You should also look into what @Heinz01 said it's a lot more in depth. I'm just spitballing with my knowledge from Skryim and I pretty much only come back to F4 when JB drops a new major NR update lol.

It seems from all other folks checking this out its not gonna be so simple. But I was just thinking. The keyword thing might work. Now bare in mind I haven't played the main path in a while so things might have changed. In the main path NR used keywords to mark items and you can add your own clothes using the weave slot. So for instance if the arm is armor or clothing wouldn't it work to give it a keyword from NR on a workbench. Now if it does not have weave slot you can always add that with something like eco. I do that all the time. Maby NR will see that as an NR item then and won't remove it. Just another thing to try.

Yup, that's the one. I've adjusted it a bit to better integrate with NR, but the issue was with the condition NR outfits use and not the slots.

For example, the music outfit does not cause any problems since it allows weapons and armor to be equipped. But other outfits have some condition applied somewhere, which checks if you want to equip a weapon or armor and prevents that. I thought that maybe there is some keyword that I've overlooked that is being used and I only need to remove it, but so far no luck.
Either way, I can circumvent the removal by going to Pipad and equipping items in particular order - first prosthetic arm and hands, then outfit parts, but that is just annoying and would be great to find a solution by simple plugin edit.

I'm sure you activated hardcore mode in MCM, by default there are no restrictions. Hardcore mode was more like my "practices" before creating Slavers. 

 

Soon Nuka Ride's hardcore mode will mean that you will no longer be able to eat/drinks things like Nuka Colas and unhealthy foods. Kali will probably be the one implementing the dietary regimen.

I think i understand it now. You have the armor restriction turned on in NR MCM, right? Apart from turning that off i dont know how to circumvent that for your prothesis, because i dont know how NR detects armor.

Don't worry about it. The radio doesn't work. In the next version I will include a new radio called Seven Bar Radio. The thing is, when I wanted to replicate the Golden Globes radio, I realized that the GGS radio is not configured correctly.

It was a miscalculation on my part. I wanted to do Elevenslab voices for Kali, so I put a new voicetype for her (previously it was the same voice of Lucy in her XvaSynth version) but unfortunately I already used up my quota and she was voiceless. 

 

Someone asked about the Dancer outfits. 

Fever gives you the heels. 
Adolf gives you the choker.
Keyshawn gives you the outfit. 

 

BTW, I always forget this, but if you wear the full Dancer Outfit set, it will make the "fight" in the Moon of Steel easier. A lot of the incorrect dialogue won't appear. 

 

I think I've reached a point where I need kind of an official guide. 😵‍💫

I had a diary of partners in my old set up and thought it was from NR, however....I don't have that anymore.  Since I had to rebuild my whole set up, I am guessing it was a mod here on LL.   Was it part of NR recommend mod list at one time?   I wish LL had a download history.
