I was wondering if you have the bodyslide files for Maibatsu's "Piercing Collection"? (Fusion Girl Version) The Loverslab link doesn't work and now I come to find I don't even have it in my local files.

Just remember that I'm just one guy and I don't have a team that takes care of other areas of the mod or anything. It's obvious that the mod falters in areas such as economy, level design, combat.

I know you're just one guy and you do this all for free, or at least for no more than the hope of getting followers on Patreon. If I play a mod (be it Fallout or Skyrim) and it is completely awful, I'm not even going to bother to comment about it.

Another positive thing I forgot to add about the mod is the music. It adds a lot to the feeling of the mod because it is very thematically appropriate ( have a love affair with the word "thematically."). If I picked one music track that I would call the anthem of this mod, it is this one.

In any event, thanks for the tip on how to see the new 6.5 content. And here's a small technical note that might be entirely irrelevant. When I played 6.3, my character exited the Amphitheater simply upon approaching the exit door. Now in 6.5, I have to activate the door. Maybe that means something to you, maybe it's just minutiae.

EDIT: Duke was still dead, but resurrecting him got the Young Vault Dweller started. EDIT: Well, after 20 minutes, so far, so good (once I put the defibrillator paddles to Duke).

EDIT: Since no one has posted after me. I'll just keep adding on. First crash, during the dinner with the Dunmores following the Hubologist quest (pretty sure this in the quest stage document, _NR_Farm 350;  Stop Painting Scene - Go to dinner). My character can sit down and start conversing. Brett says something, then Monique does, then when Sophie makes a comment, crash (not a CTD, the kind of crash that generates a log). Happened twice exactly the same. A rad storm was going on. Meaningful? I certainly don't know. For the third try, I will wait until the rad storm is done. I have Always Clear Weather installed, but I'm not sure now if that's the weather mod you suggested to avoid the frequent rad storms on the farm. Maybe that mod does not work with Nuka World weather. True Storms' interface does not offer an option to change Nuka World's weather.

EDIT: Either it was a coincidence, or it was something to do with the rad storm that caused the crash. Because after the rad storm, no crash.

EDIT: Post-hunting scene of my character and Brett sitting on the bench for a chat and a snack, two of Brett's lines are reversed in terms of audio/subtitles.

EDIT: Getting Sophie to Patti was a chore. She kept going into the active area of every ride she ran past, at one point getting stuck in the center of a revolving rocket ride and every time she tried to run out, she got snagged again by a rocket and forced back into the center area of the ride. Took me 10 minutes to get her to Patti.

Regarding the crash during the Dunmore dinner, I'm pretty sure it had something to do with the POV camera because when it worked, the POV origin  went up like 10 feet (3m, if you prefer)  to look down at an angle to the dinner table. I'm beginning to think the rad storm thing was just coincidence, but on the other had it did crash twice at the exact same point with the rad storm going.

EDIT: And some more. Was unable to talk to the Nuka Market chem dealer about the cold beers for Colter. Had to do SetStage _NR_Beer 120;  Ask the man for some cold beers to progress.

Sophie, upon exiting the Kiddie Kingdom bar to go get the cold beers, joins BOS soldiers in attacking some nearby Super Mutants. After they're were killed, to talk to Sophie I had constantly block her movement to keep her from moving so far away from me that it would reset the conversation.

Are you sure you are testing with a new save? As I said, the saves where Shank doesn't respond are screwed up.

I've never really tested with many mods though. My NR profile has about 90 plugins, basically the basics for testing and playing.

Edit: Nop. I have 57 plugins. 😵‍💫

only 57 ? I guess I hate vanilla Fallout 4 a lot.

I would like to ask, if there is possible a Nisha vs kali encounter?

because:

Spoiler

I don't think a female raider boss, who loves to punish and enslave is  happy about the Overboss decision to bring in a mistress, who is a trader also. I mean, it looks like Nisha has a certain opininon about traders = they are slaves (unless they are the daughter of somebody of course)

= there is a reason for a conflict + damn has nisha a lot of written dialogue suitable for a scene like this:

Nisha dialogue

examples:

possible opening line: 'I'll have your head on a pike when this over.'

with love from Nisha: 'I wouldn't stick around. You've no idea how irritating it is, just to see you breathing. '

if everything ends good:  'It's not everyday I like someone better alive than dead. I guess you're one of the lucky ones. '

if outcome is still questionable:  'Don't think our cooperation means respect. I'm still seeing how this all plays out. '

Of course this works with other npc's too = maybe helpfull @writing dialogue to have some parts to work with

And that's maybe the main reason why i wrote this posting😉

If the occasion arises, I will think about it. But in NR, Nisha is already quite successful with her own venture and she has no need to steal from traders, as stated in the vanilla version. And while I am not an expert in women's psychology, I think Nisha would have nothing against Kali considering that she doesn't represent a direct threat to her status.

I had some negative things to say about 6.4 (I referred to it as 6.3 in other posts) and the vanilla vault dweller path. The young vault dweller path in 6.5 has almost nothing I don't like. I don't like the "dialog puzzle" quests, e.g., Adolf's dance lesson in the Dugout Inn, Fever's help on  the war rig when ridding Music of Doberman in the vanilla vault dweller path, and, in the young path, the rhyming training session with Harlowe and the dance moves training with Patti. I indeed think of them as akin to puzzles and I hate puzzles. But, even though I do not like such quests, the ones in NR are thematically linked to the events of the story. I contrast them with the rotating stone pillars in Skyrim. Those are just content for the sake of content and have no thematic connection to the story. And the rhyming training was made tolerable by the fact that only two of the dialog choices could possibly be the answer.

That said, the young path in 6.5 is a lot of fun. The snappy dialog is there. And Colter, at no time in the 6.5 young path did I think "Well, I just want to fuckin' kill this guy because he's so annoying" (and in my 6.4 run if it had been an option, I would have killed him at Abernathy Farm). I *like* the Colter in 6.5's young path. I like Kellogg. I like BOS Captain Larsen.

And one last "bug" (I put bug in air quotes because I don't know if it's an oversight or I just didn't figure it out). I had no idea how to defeat Ryder, so I just used the console to kill him so I could progress.

And a big thumbs up to the people who did the voicing.

For me, a Kali vs. Nisha smackdown would feel like something done simply for the sake of doing it. To echo your own notions, the NR story provides no reason for either of them to seek such an encounter. So it would be a lot of work on your part to add motivation, which I think would be important to you in order for you to feel satisfied that it wasn't done simply for the sake of doing it. And the way the characters are developed and depicted (and this comes in part from vanilla in Nisha's case), Nisha would kick Kali's ass easily. Kali is a young dominatrix. The only reason someone submits to Kali is because they want to. Nisha is a strong, veteran fighter who also happens to be a bloodthirsty psychopath.

EDIT: I can just see the dialog;

Colter: Nisha, I get word you have a thing about Kali, and not the good kind of thing. Why? Are you jealous of her? She's barely our of her teens. She dominates willing people for the purpose of sexual pleasure. You dominate unwilling people because you want to fuckin' torture and kill them. Where's the fuckin' conflict?

You have really put a lot of hours into a mod that is "not your cup of tea". You even know the name of the Overbitch and that's something I only blurt out for those who like to read non-mandatory dialogues 😄

As I had told you, this mod has been evolving but not only on the technical side. At the beginning the Overboss was simply an annoying guy that we had to hate. That was his only goal. All the answers to his dialogues were to electrocute you or make you look ridiculous, which would make the vanilla mission of killing him liberating.

Then he started to grow on me. So I made him evolve slowly marked by the return of his daughter and the death of his wife.

But in the alternate start I gave myself permission to write right away as the evolved Overboss from the end of 6.4, with the excuse that "he acts kinda soft with young girls, because he's a father".

If you have a save before talking to Oswald, tell him you're going to talk to Ryder (not kill him), Oswald will give you something and you'll unlock the true ending. NR was always about beating enemies without resorting to shootouts because our character, neither the vanilla nor the young woman, are people who would holster a servo and grab a minigun to kill a deathclaw in the first hour of the game.

Although if you "failed" the last nightmare you won't be able to unlock the true ending.

When I found out there was another path in 6.5, I thought "OK, I want to try this, and if I find some bugs to help the author, so much the better." The vanilla path is still not my cup of tea, but the young path in 6.5 is (sounds perverted out of context). I cannot emphasize enough how fun I found the 6.5 young path. It's not the difference between night and day, more like the difference between overcast twilight and day.

On the topic of bugs, or bug-like issues, Sophie's pathing on the way to meet Patti for the first time is the biggest issue for me. I hate navigating around in Kiddie Kingdom, so I imagine it's even more of a challenge for the game's pathing AI. Followed by the random Super Mutants that pop up in Kiddie Kingdom, triggering Sophie to join the BOS soldiers in fighting them. Conceptually, seems to me making Sophie a temporary follower would fix the pathing issue I had. Whether that's feasible technically for how you do things in the mod, I have no idea.

And on the topic of replayability, I can see myself replaying the young path to make different choices.

EDIT: To continue about characters, in vanilla, Nisha has nothing about her to make me care about her, other than wanting to kill her. NR develops her personality into someone I sort of like (like what you say about Colter, on a smaller scale). As for Mags, well, as you said in another post, you're just one guy.  But if you had a magic wand, expanding Mags's personality would be fun to see. And Lizzy's. Hell, Dixie's and Savoy's, too. And while we're at it with the magic wand, point the wand at Sierra's teeth (or is there a mod somewhere that addresses that; if there is and it's compatible with NR, that's a candidate for "recommended mod" in my opinion).

Gage, Maxson, William and Mason went from assholes I want to kill in vanilla to more talkative assholes I want to kill in NR. Which is fine, because there's definitely room for assholes in a game like FO4.

Does anybody know what I am doing wrong or what I'm missing? Whenever I first enter the studio Corsican just isn't there and the actor is invisible and can't be talked to (see files). It's a new game and I have tried from the beginning of the mod many times, always the same result. Meeting with Mason works fine and then this... :(

I believe the author recommends NR be at the end of your load order. Is it?

Since you are not the author, your white knighting is just that. I don't feel obligated to like something simply for the sake of the sweat of the author's brow. I said what I like about the mod and what I don't like about it. If you think (and I don't know if this is true of you, but if it is) the mod is beyond criticism, then you're a fanboi, which is fine, if that is what you are. I didn't post "this mod is stupid." We could argue all day about the mod's (or vanilla NW's, or the MQ's, or the Railroad's) "realism."It would be pointless to do so. And I guarantee you I did not have the wrong idea of the mod, unless you say I should have expected it to have so much heavily scripted play out of my control.

Anyway, maybe read all of the credits.

Pretty funny, this comment as well.   Anyway, if you read the credits, I don't think anything else needs to be said.

personally, this mod also doesnt really suit my taste, i love commonwealth slaver, but this not so much, a lot of things just feel really random.. and at this point i'm already invested so much time so i gotta see it to the end...

i think this is most likely because for commonwealth slaver, it's a really good drama that fit well in fallout 4 world building, but nuka ride is more akin to a parody skit like scary movie or disaster movie where things just happen because reason, so it feel disconnected from fallout 4 world building...

but i would like to stress that this is not the fault of the mod, but due to my personal taste...

I prefer NR to CS and have made no secret in recent posts that I really like the young vault dweller path in 6.5. Have you tried it? You might like it better than the vanilla path. What I did like about CS is that by the end, I get to kill or see killed every evil asshole. I get your point about the disconnect in NR as compared to CS, because in NR, you pretty much quick travel everywhere (which I like, but you perhaps do not).

You attack people for trying to encourage future content creators in other threads then attack people for criticizing mods that you like. Attack Attack you dont think like me. Where does it end and life begins.
