AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

First, thank you for absolutely fantastic mod. I played it earlier last year and everything worked great. Now, I re-installed fo4 and I did same like then and first I installed storywealth collection from nexus, then I installed AAF and followed the guide how to and what to install. And then I installed Nuka Ride 6.5 with everything it requires. I can play and do quests normally to the point there is AAF animation in middle of quest. Animation plays just fine, but quest wont update during or after AAF animation. Like when Kellogg says go to your room and practice, pole animation plays just fine and after that nothing. Or if you kiss certain captain before practice during grocery pickup, animation plays fine but he doesnt ask me to sit. Nuka ride is near bottom on my load list, after NR there are only aaf animations and patches. Any idea where should I start looking for solution?

It seems to be a problem with AAF. Do you have it updated?

 

I remember Sim Settlement 2 is such an intensive mod that it ends up affecting AAF and causes that very problem you describe. Check that, or if there are other mods that you consider to be heavy.

Having CS + NR right now creates a precombine conflict at Dunmore Farm, so when my special camera is activated there is a hell of a lot of CTD risk. You can notice that conflict because we have the giant yellow tree on the Dunmore farm (NR) interspersed with the giant dead tree (vanilla). The giant dead tree is disabled in NR, but when you see those two trees in there mixed together you know there is a pre-combine conflict and there will be CTD when I use my special cameras or if you fast travel.

 

Right now I cannot recommend having both mods installed at the same time. What happens at Dunmore Farm with both mods enabled happens anywhere in NW.

 

Fallout really isn't intended for an intensive camera use like I make. The camera is always glued to the player and you can only detach it during dialogues, but if you move too much, it will break. We have no choice but to adapt to this dynamic. 


 

I only noticed the Camera crash in the last scene of the pit. If you move the camera before the scene starts, it will crash. So the solution is to not touch the mouse. Never used camera before so this is a new bug for me (there is always a new bug 😌).

Don't worry, not everything can work as reliably as a Windows update. 😂

Yeah, i just noticed the "Copilot" they added in the last update, i asked it a simple question (are you using openAI api ?) and it got angry at me🙃. He stopped in the middle of generating a response then deleted it. I asked why and it said " i don't like talking about technical details". It went silent after that.

At least yours updated. I actually just updated last night or rather tried and it would not start up. I had to roll back to a previous version.

By chance, two raider leaders run into each other

Nisha is the leader of the Disciples

William "Bill" Black is the second-in-command of the Operators

 

Nisha: Well, look who stopped by. Care to lend a hand?

William Black: Really wanna try me, huh?

Nisha: Not questioning, just curious.

William Black: Hmm. Of course, nisha.

Nisha: Now, if you're really looking to get on my good side...

William Black: What? You come to finally start making nice?

Nisha: So you better not screw this up because I'm not about to tolerate another round of bullshit.

William Black: You want me on your side? Prove it.

Nisha: If you change your tune and decide to play nice... we could spice Things up a bit.

*** her could be every female person, anybody could think about, Ha 'her' could even be Nisha herself.

But William has, in contrast to Nisha not much dialogue. No surprise, everybody thinks he's kinda stupid. 😁

On that tangent, the vanilla vault dweller path establishes that William is kinda stupid. More than "kinda," he's a fuckin' moron.

hello, i'm on 6.5, when trying to kiss larsen (nr_kiss_staged animation) it doesn't work, they just stand there :( 

is there any way to fix it?

That animation is from Atomic Lust, look on the main page in the list of requirements, you will find the link.

It's a fairly new addition, to the point where I don't have special dialogs for this (yet).

 

@branmakmuffin These pics are from the version 6.6 (including the braces), the version I'm working. It's more to let the patreons know that I'm not dead yet.

I forgot to tell you something. If you ever see that supermutant who interrupted again, click on him/his dead body and send me his ID. If you have Better Console installed you would save me a lot of time too, as it usually shows a lot of extra data. 

 

That way I'll track down what random quest put him there and I'll kill the quest. It happened before with a random raider enemy who usually spawns over there, which was reported back in November. 

Thank you for answering my question ❤️ And I've always wanted to try a race mod, but I am far too worried I'd brake the game entirely so I err on the side of caution and don't LOL

I've already taken out a Gunner and an aggressive raider from Kiddie Kingdom back in December, they kept fucking the filming with Sophie outside the Seven Bar. These are random encounters generated by the Nuka World DLC. I wouldn't be surprised if there was another one with a Super Mutie.

 

But since Nuka Ride already practically replaces the DLC, I have no shame in killing those random quests. We don't need them.

I'm stuck on Apollo's mission.When I return from Diamond City, I go to Misha in Fizz Top. but she's not there and I don't know where to find her
 and I don't know if it's a bug but I get the mission back to Nuka City, I went back with the robot and it left me near Fizz Top, 
I've seen that this character Misha has a lot of problems because in The nuka dlc always has the bug of disappearing. any solution?

It would be extraordinarily anti-climactic, for me, and a huge step backwards to do the vanilla NW and Far Harbor questlines after doing the full ride of Nuke Ride. I mentioned in a previous post that if you made an option to return to the Commonwealth, then return all pissed off to more-or-less do the vanilla questline, ending with your character killing Colter and becoming the Overboss, with full awareness of what happened in Nuka Ride, that would work, thematically, and be pretty sweet. But, as I said before, that sounds like a major assload of work, and we are back to "I'm just one guy."

Nisha is, I believe, waiting at the entrance to Nuka Town which is very close to where your character gets dropped off (and is very close to the entrance to Fizztop). As I recall, she is just leaning against a pillar (at least she was for me, assuming I remember correctly).

When NR was at 3.0 or maybe 2.0, it ended shortly after the first meeting with the overboss, where the protagonist is suggested to always remember the phrase "I am just a silly whore". Back then i thought it would be really cool when the player chooses to go through vanilla NW after that, the protagonist would stand over the corpse of colter in the arena and just whisper "yeah, i am just a silly whore, huh?".

 

But since then so much has be added, i can`t even think about killing colter anymore. I really started to sympathize with him, when we have to calm him down outside of the tattoo studio.

Minor esthetic thing, the subtitles and voice are reversed when Brett says "Someone told me to start treating you two like ladies ..." and "Day off, you two" before heading to Nuka Town to then go meet Patti for training.

 

EDIT: Do the images depict something known to happen in NR 6.5, or is the consensus that it's most likely caused by a conflict with another mod? This is exiting and entering the maid's room in the apartment, and the issue disappears upon fully exiting or entering the apt.

You can use my patch to fix that. It's a wall that was deleted, but was part of the precombines. The next release wont have pre/vis in the interior cells as they are not needed.

unknown if you already removed this gunner guard post (the trailer at center bottom of picture in spoiler just above the compass) but it was still there in NR 6.47

when i coc'd to get the picture he was fighting a super mutant patrol. i have not started NR 6.5x yet this game (silly pc got pregnant so i have to give birth first).

I see my Nuka Ride toon as going back into the wasteland to set up a chain of "Nuka Ride" brothels/cinemas (using Human resources + Videos of the Wasteland) to create money earning hubs for the raiders. I use one of the excellent SKK mods to kill Preston (as you were not there to save him) to end the main quest (although you have to actually go and kill him as the PC, but w/e). This is kinda what Nuka World intended for the settlements with raiders/slaves, but I just give it a twist. The advantage is I do not need JB to set this up, and if I feel like doing some vanilla stuff, I have a NW related reason to pick up yet another desk fan. One way to get round the idea a Nuka Ride pornstar laying waste to a supermutant camp, is you are actually the

We all have our own head canon, and I can see that working, thematically (I love that word, yes I do). It doesn't work for me after the vanilla vault dweller path in NR  because I want to kill Colter, Gage, Mason, Maxson and William (but not Mags, Nisha, Savoy or Dixie). Certainly not criticizing your way, it's just not my way. I generally play computer games the way I generally play characters in table-top RPGs: I'm a nice guy until someone fucks me over, then I'll just kill them, if it's an option and I'm able to do it. Thus I found the ending of Commonwealth Slavers fairly satisfying.

 

On killing Preston, when I do it it's via the Depravity mod, I like the way that mod spins the lore to make that make sense ... thematically. Conceptually and in terms of story, I think Depravity, Outcasts and Remnants and Project Valkyrie work fine with Nuka Ride. Maybe they don't play well together technically.

i finally finish nuka ride 6.4.... i guess i shouldnt go explore nuka world unless it's area that been unlocked by the mod since it look like there is content planned for those area....
