i finally finish nuka ride 6.4.... i guess i shouldnt go explore nuka world unless it's area that been unlocked by the mod since it look like there is content planned for those area....

All the parks will probably be taken over by the Mod. So to be safe stay out of the parks themselves. You can roam around the other areas around the map tho.

I see my Nuka Ride toon as going back into the wasteland to set up a chain of "Nuka Ride" brothels/cinemas (using Human resources + Videos of the Wasteland) to create money earning hubs for the raiders. I use one of the excellent SKK mods to kill Preston (as you were not there to save him) to end the main quest (although you have to actually go and kill him as the PC, but w/e). This is kinda what Nuka World intended for the settlements with raiders/slaves, but I just give it a twist. The advantage is I do not need JB to set this up, and if I feel like doing some vanilla stuff, I have a NW related reason to pick up yet another desk fan. One way to get round the idea a Nuka Ride pornstar laying waste to a supermutant camp, is you are actually the

Synth combat-ready porn star sister.... and your actual human PC is back in NW making "backdoor vaultsluts 5".

Could you please link the SKK mod you mentioned?  Thanks.

Hello, does the alternate/young start end currently once you talk to everyone after the fight scene? Cheers.

Edit: this seems to be the case. Wonderful mod, enjoyed it a lot. You knocked it out of the park like always!

Happy to be a patron and excited to see what you come up with in the future.

SKK mods are the best.

It is horribly unfriendly with Nuka Ride, but SKK Combat Stalkers + SKK Feral Nights with interior and settlement attacks enabled makes F04 a whole new game. I had a three way fight between raiders, triggermen and me in handcuffs running around in Corvega after getting combat stripped and assaulted... I spent so long running round, followers of Atom joined in and then the Ferals spawned as it was night. It was glorious.

Seeing different factions go at it like that is a great immersion booster, no doubt. True Storms has an option to spawn Ferals during rad storms and sometimes they spawn at a really convenient time and sometimes at the most inopportune time. And it does spice up the game. But I would not want to have it happen during Nuka Ride.

i just want some confirmation, i read some time ago in a post here that says nuka ride will get turn off if i goes any where near nuka world transit center... does this still happen after i "finish" nuka ride 6.4?

That is before you start. If memory serves. Stay away from Nuka world till the mod takes you there and you will be fine.

I also use Headshots kill any actor. It is very immersive. You can enable headshots for player which makes combat more thrilling and challenging. Any stray bullet can oneshot kill you if it hit your head. So cannot go against turrets and machine guns.

I also have question off-topic but I think this community of Fallout modding is active more or less. So why Sim Settlement and Sim Settlement 2 mods are so highly popular? I mean SS2 and mods related to it are gaining so much downloads in short period of time. I remember when SS2 was released it managed to hit 100k downloads bar while it was in hot files on Nexus. Even clothing and weapon mods don't gain 10k download in hot files. I only saw that Vtaw WD9 hit 27k in hot files

The same reason Nuka Ride is popular. It takes shallow content and makes it deeper whilst remaining consistent with the lore. You could be a porn star in Fallout 2 in the base game, for example. SS2 takes settlements and makes them feel more alive by giving the settlers agency. Nuka Ride, I would argue, does the same thing in a different way - it adds depth to "hur dur, me raider" and makes characters like the overboss seem much more real.

I am learning as I continue to create the mod. For example the first quests didn't give much room to roleplay because I didn't know how to make branches (I learned that when Gage takes you to GNN more or less, until then I didn't even know how to use globals).  And after a while I realized that the final scene in Far Harbor is so... scripted. There's almost no player input, except choosing who fucks the protagonist based on your decisions.

So those are things I think I'll avoid/develop as I learn.

The thing is, I'm not a video game developer nor am I familiar with stuff like replayability/leveling/level design. I know this isn't a mod that gives you an open-ended experience like others, I just know that I like to tell a story and this medium gives me the opportunity to do so.

I'd disagree, it's nice sometimes to have the game take your hand and just walk you through funny, insane or whatnot moments. Taking control from the player is a valid way of creting engagement, imnmersion. And... well you roleplay as basically a sex slave :D

I disagree completely, but I am not here to say "Your fun is wrong." Computer RPG-style quest/adventure games and tabletop RPGs have a lot of differences (the biggest one being that a human RPG game master can instantly adapt to any situation on the fly). They also have similarities. But taking away player agency in either setting grinds my gears. NR does it, CS does it. But the clever writing, the overall story and the character development (in both NR and CS) more than make up for it.

On this off-topic tangent, what I don't like about mods like this is that my character has unlimited lives, the enemies have one. Some people might play some kind of self-imposed hardcore mode where they do not manually save, but I'm not gonna do that. I had a mod like this installed in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines for a playthrough once and it made the game way too easy when I got the drop on the enemies and way too irritating when they got the drop on me. So it was "Whoever gets the drop wins." That might be more realistic, but I don't play a game in which my character can teleport, or a game in which my character has the soul of a dragon, or a game in which my character is a vampire, for realism.

becouse FO4 is old game already and most people wanna new quests and adventure / hte reason for SS2 so popular simple--they mix new quest pif paf and building /as for NR or other lore adult mods from LL - more stylish way to present you other side of the postapoc FO world ) and of course all modders have there own vision as the people who chose what mod to install.

I apologize if this has been asked before (pretty sure it has), but I can't seem to find the outfit keyshawn supposedly sent me. After quest in DC with Adolf I only get Dancer outfit from & Keyshawn's letter which clearly states that he should've sent some sort of outfit, but I got nothing from him. I've re-downloaded BodySlide files for 6.3 from Mega, but I can't seem to find it there as well

I think the 3 parts of the Dancer Outfit (choker, heels and the Outfit itself) is from all 3 NPCs

Immediately apologize if there was such a question, but what to do if any attempt to mod me to move somewhere I get eternal loading (the game hangs and helps only Task Manager? I have version 6.5k, and a patch to clean up excess garbage/CWSS patch. Could it be the same problem that was with Commonwealth Slavers, namely incorrect animation files?

There is a trigger box right outside the train as you get off. You can't avoid it, so don't ride the train unless you want to end NR, or you've finished NR and want to run the vanilla route.

Personally I avoid both ends of the train, NW & Commonwealth underground. I do however clear the Commonwealth side of the Gunners. That way I can safely fast travel IF I want.

You'll complete it and have access to her store before you "need" the outfit. ;)

Fever gives it to you when you first meet him on the way back from DC with Adolf.
