idk if im missing a file or something but the robot to start isnt appearing. ive gone to the vault and even waited in a chair near the vault but the robot doesnt spawn

Most likely you downloaded the mod incorrectly. There are 2 options there: "Standard download" and "Download as ZIP".
You chose "Download as ZIP", and should have chosen "Standard Download".

Check in your mod manager the extension of the file you installed, it should be .7z, not .zip

Apologies, but I can't seem to find the NukaRide_Settings 2.ini.xml file. I only have the NukaRide_Settings.ini file. I'm using NR 6.2.4

It is the same, you can add to that document as well. Where it says "Priority" put 5 or something, it should be the first line.

Once the girl makes it through the audition, the story will be the same, but with changed dialogues if you play as Nora or as the young girl. 

 

this looks like its going to be fun.  definitely going to have to try that route when it comes out.

Random/Odd problem - My overboss seems to have lost his outfit after one of the VIP parties, tried checking his inventory and nothing present, so he's been wondering around nude which while amusing at first looks a little bit silly when he's wandering around Nuka World in general.

 

There a console command i can use to give him it back? couldnt see one searching with help "overboss" 4 or help "armor" 4

"RecycleActor" or "Resurrect" come to mind, but I don't know if the former will get the OB out of his active quests.

yes i quoted myself (lol), but i wound up rolling back due to getting a outfit, and later getting a 2nd outfit (the exact same) "gifted" to me.

this time i did get 2 different outfits and as a bonus figured out what the heck was happening here with the Vertibird.

 

usually as i play Nuka Ride i have a 10mm pistol equipped (to prevent another mod from triggering a random encounter).

leaving the rig this time i had a assault rifle equipped and that showed me a strange sight which led me to figuring out what the problem i was having was.

 

it showed me grabbing the minigun on the Vertibird and also the assault rifle (in combat position) at the same time.  this led to the same issue.  

 

reloaded from just before entering the Vertibird BUT this time i made sure i had no weapons currently equipped.  this time it all worked correctly.

tested several times and every time i had a weapon equipped when i boarded i ran into the same problem. but every time i boarded without a weapon

equipped it worked correctly.  weapons i know caused me this issue were 10MM pistol, Combat Rifle, Assault Rifle, Combat Shotgun, and Baseball Bat.

 

at least i found what my problem was and it requires no action on anyone else's part to fix.

 

posting here so you will know i figured it out and in case anyone else runs into the same issue (so they can see if it works that way for themselves).

There is a Johnny Silverhand preset on Loverslab, how can this preset be attached to Overboss?  It's just that he speaks with Johnny's voice in my game, but he looks like a UFC fighter.

That's great dude! You know I was gonna 'complain' about a little bit lack of immersion in Nora's development. I mean, we do find the Nuka World become better richer with the story proceeding and Nora can win the Overbitch title and get the surgery. But I think we cannot see enough lasting effect or changes on Nora. I dont know if I can make it clear, say, when Nora meets the Overboss she seems a rebel fighter or a submissive mindbreak kitty but she is a good actress to Golden Globe and a sweety friend to Music. There's a gap between the characters she plays maybe. I think in Commonwealth Slavers Nora behaves much better as she plays a whore slave to everyone till the end (despite the true endings). 

 

I know in NukaRide Nora has more freedom so that she cannot be a mindbreak porn star throughoutly. So I think the stats and textbox from time to time to tell the changes in Nora's mind and her body is a effective way to indicate her progress (at least good enough for me). We have the submissive and rebel score but I find them weakly function. Perhaps later version can connect these attributes with some certain messages or NPCs (as those in Sex Harassment or Beggar Whore) or maybe just the thoughts in Nora's mind.

 

But well, I just have these thoughts in ease for I dont really create a fantastic mod. So plz dont bother if they are kinda ridiculous. Looking forward to NR7 :)

Thanks, but ask a studio of three hundred programmers for that, not some poor bastard who writes dirty stuff in his spare time and who has to google all the time about how to write some scripts.  ?

I looked it up and that Jhonny is a new race. I never did something like that, but for me you should create a patch with Nuka Ride and the Johnny Silverhand mod as masters. That's the first step for sure. 

 

The second step would be to edit the Overboss (_NR_Overboss, in Actors) to have Johnny's race. 

 

But then the OB would no longer be considered human race, and AAF would no longer work with him. 

 

Ohhh, I've changed the OB's appearance for NR7, specifically his outfit. I realized that I always put facial gestures on the OB when he talks (I do it with almost everyone) but we can never see his gestures because of the damn helmet.

Changed clothes ? According to the comments of the NPC, it seems that he was originally the head of the "Operators" group, but in the end he wears "Disciples" clothes, but since in the original we see him only in power armor, it is not clear what kind of clothes he has. Apparently, he should wear an outfit like Benny from New Vegas ?

What the secret to getting the 48 hour timer to clear when reporting back from a Scooter ride?

Every time I report back before the timer runs out, all is good. But returning from walking Lyons it says I failed to report back and Attitude Adjustment triggers.

That's an interesting combination that is not considered ( walking Lyons during your permit). I'll see how I solve it.

SH mod, imo, presents some ....issues and I may just drop it from my load order because either it (or some other mod) has the guards threaten or treat Nora to some nasty names but.....after NR, she should have a response like "oh so you jerked off to my movies, have you?  That is as closest as you are gonna get to having me"

Well got to the end of Nuka Ride which makes me a little bit sad as i've really enjoyed playing this, along with commonwealth slavers this made re-installing/working out how to mod fallout 4 with AAF worthwhile

 

Didn't really have any problems except the one i mentioned about the overboss now being a naturalist and embracing the world nude as his outfit seems to have disappeared

 

With the settlement you end up getting how do you attract more raiders/settlers? as the traditional way of having a settler radio doesnt seem to have increased the count so i have a massive settlement with only 4 raiders in it

 

Edit: Was one thing i forgot to mention, may contain spoiler for those not finished the mod



With the synth sister you acquire, i tried using the looksmenu mirror in the apartment as i wanted to change the PC's haircut so the PC/Sister were less absolute identical twins but any change i made ended up getting reflected onto the sister when i next visited her (style/colour) not sure if thats an engine limitation or whether it should have frozen the sisters appearance at the time she appeared in the game

Kinda like how I have OB with a different face now, and I like it better.
Or do I think that my OB is different because of ENB and retextures?

Aahahahahahha! Sorry but this is so funny. So I was testing the options for Keyshawn to enter DC and after I gave him a rimjob he shrunk to a midget. I think I sucked something more than his ass. Stupid comment but I can't stop laughing.

Somewhere in your AAF settings you have "scale_actors_for_animations = true".
But for proper work of animations with Keyshawn this parameter must be "scale_actors_for_animations = false".

Check all ****.ini files (there may be several) in your Data/AAF folder and make sure that "scale_actors_for_animations" parameter is set to "false" everywhere.

That's just it, is says reporting back was successful. Like the permit conditions are met. aka returning & checking in before the permit timer ran out. The dialogue even reflects as it being successful.

If i remember correctly, I always check back in before the 3 hour warning popup. Maybe the key it to wait for the popup?
I'll try the setstage on an early check in.
