Ah I see, thank you for the info, hadn't realized DD was no longer officially supported. Took a peek at what the framework and wow, I'm more than content to wait for that new framework to go live before a DD integration (or well, integration with the new framework).

Besides the Queen of Spades choker, which will regenerate your health and self-esteem if you fuck black men (it only works if your name is Snowbunny), there will also be two other special chokers. The Moonlight choker (given to you during a new NR6 quest) and the Bestial choker (given to you by Kaiser if you film with the dog at the start of the mod). 

 

BTW, the new outfits have an anti ESP-Explorer measure. You won't be able to wear them if you haven't previously bought them. Or else there is little point in begging the OB to buy them. ?

I have a problem when I start the Apollo mission and I go to see Nisha, I only see the options that the secondary tasks give you and the interaction about the mission does not appear, is there a way to fix the problem?

Was there a table in front of Nisha? Did she make you a drug Mule? Maybe check your load order, put NR plugin in Dynamic Patches Vortex, or Load Last in MO2

I'm not sure people will remember this far back. 

I've just come back from having not played since like 4.1.6 and I'm wondering:-

 

- How stable was this version please? 

- Is it worth upgrading to 5xx?

- From what I found reading there was an issue with overlays as strings or something causing issue with needing new saves for new versions? (I don't really understand, but I wish I did ?) 

- Can I update it on my current save or will it become the bringer of the end times?

Like feel free to give spoilers or message me about it, I vaguely recall something about wastelander choice with mason 2 options in a dialogue with him (Father) between vault-dweller and like, VD with extra steps? But I'm confused as to the proper choice for it to not be Father? Idk I've probably progressed it wrong already.

I believe that is due to new requirements for the newer versions.

Shaun/Hank  If you tell Music (during your scooter ride/slumber party) you are vanilla vault girl, shaun is your father, If you tell her other than that "Hank" will be a John.

And a new release will be here in a couple of weeks with way more content, and a new game playthrough if you want all the items given out for services.

Hmm, not much content in the first few missions. If I remember correctly I added the post Commonwealth Slavers dialogues from when you meet Charon to "The Motorcycle". I left the rest of the special dialogues for later. 

 

I would skip it with the MCM cheat -except the audition with Kaiser, for the choker he gives you if you choose to film with the dog-. 

 

With NR6 you will be able to skip everything, from meeting Duke to finishing the Nuka Club mission. I tried it and it took me an hour, as the movies are still unskippable. 

 

And you no longer have to worry about missing out on outfits by skipping missions. In the first mission of NR6 we will have to look for a girl who will sell us all the outfits of NR, who will have her own store in Nuka Town. Although the outfits are a bit expensive.

Yeah, you can continue if you upgrade to 5 (and 6, soon). Indeed, a fresh start is good for a situation with the overlays.

 

However, there is a new option that I don't think you know about. In the MCM there is a "Cheat" mode, that if you have it activated, will allow you to skip quests, in case you prefer to start over and quickly get back to where you left off. 

 

 

When you start a new quest, the cheat will ask you if you want to skip it or not. 

 

Filming movies and some short quests are unskippable.

always good to have a reminder of a very useful feature (skip quest part).

 

i do know you should not have a companion with you during Lucy in the Sky, and Made in Heaven quests.

i am wondering if having a companion otherwise is ok while playing the mod?

 

current playthrough i have Ivy and Curie as companions, and am working on getting Curie her synth body (or at least that is my aim).

i know the only named NPC that i will absolutely have to kill is Kellog.  i know there is a method or 2 to avoid killing Skinny Malone/Darla.

 

just wondering if doing that will mess up Nuka RIde (providing i manage to not kill any named NPCs other than Kellog)??

I started a new game. Met with Duke straight from getting to the surface from the vault. Followed him to charon. Had a conversation with charon but then nothing. Charon was walking back n forth and I couldnt speak or do anything with him. The game didnt freeze or anything. Picked the option of my clothes come off, and charon said I'll show you. Then nothing happened. Now sure what is wrong?

I don't mind replaying nuka ride tbh. Its all the mcm config and outfit recreating and settlement building and blah lmao. 

 

I've got a rewindable save to pre the music quest regarding shaun I'm going to test today as I want to see those outcomes it seems sensible to play it to that point / remove all tattoos - overlays (haven't picked up any from the overboss) after - then make the jump to a more current version.

 

By the sounds of it not much of the earlier stuff Ive done has actually changed so thats lucky.

No, I have not been using the base actors for some time now. Since "Made In Heaven" they are all clones of the originals. Father, Maxson, the Nuka Club customers. 

What can affect is if you are an enemy of the Brotherhood/Institute, betraying the original Maxson or killing the original Shaun. 

That will make everyone in that faction hostile, making some Nuka Ride missions impossible to complete.

Sounds like you don't have AAF installed correctly. It is the mod that manages the sexual animations. There shouldn't be any problems if you followed the official AAF guide here on Loverslab.

thanks for the info.  if i have time after doing that i can always do  some side quests and by time i finish all that new version should be out,

especially if i go magazine hunting?. as i plan to delay making any faction hostile to me for quite a while it looks like doing what i wan should work.

i need help im not very good at modding but when i install nuka ride and i load into the game everything is fine until i press escape  or look at my pitboy the game instantly crashes to desktop  ive tried removing every mod exept nuka world and the essentials that make it work but it still crashes i use vortex btw. i really dont know what to do if  you have any ideas it could help alot thanks

The issue is likely a mod that changes your Pipboy, not Nuka Ride.    Some mods do not "clean" effectively (an issue that seems to pop up more often with Vortex than with MO2).  

 

So, first things first, you need to post an image of your load order.   Second, a crash on Pipboy is typically associated with either a pip boy mod or a mod that changes your appearance (I have heard of this issue with different race mods).

 

Finally, if you are not very good at modding, then take a little bit of time to scroll through the general FO4 tech support forum here.    You may find a solution as crashing on a specific event is a common issue.

 

 

So, bottom line, post what mods you have loaded and in what order.

Sort of, but if you are using vortex, you should have mapped LOOT to your dashboard.    There is an option in LOOT (select the three dots in the right corner and select "copy load order".  

 

 

Also, be sure to put it in a text or in a spoiler when posting here.  The Spoiler button is the eye looking button right next to the emoji button at the top of the message composition gui (basically, what opens up when you reply).

 

Nothing jumps out at me, though I don't recognize all of your mods (not an issue).   I think  this should be moved to the FO4 support thread as I don't think the issue is Nuka Ride or even AAF.

I was able to get it to work. Was missing the vanilla themes. Now the issue I have is all the sex animations aren't lining up correctly. Like the motorcycle scene she wasn't anywhere near the guy as they had sex, and nothing is lining up and it seems weird to me.  Any way to fix that?

Hmm, you seem to be fairly new. I recommend you follow the official guide to the letter. It's called "AAF Fucking Guide", you can google it.

Hi. I have the following problem. When the animations start the npc and me sizes change to large but only in nuka quests. As i use aff except nuka raiders animations are ok. Does anyone have an idea why that is?

I appear to be stuck on Apollo. I got the piercings, I have the piercings equipped, and the quest log is still saying that I should get the piercings. I even tried waiting a couple hours, but nothing is happening. Also, Nisha refuses to talk with me, she just gives generic replies and doesn't open dialogue.

 

Also, on a possibly unrelated note, as soon as I arrived in Nuka World I dismissed Dogmeat, but it's still following me around despite not being a companion. I've tried hiring and dismissing it again, but to no avail.
