I think JB said he tried to get permission to use this outfit and didn't get it or didn't get a response from the author......I use the stars with a lot of the NR outfits.

Yeah. I wanted to use the purse. And I wanted to put those little stars to the "Inauguration Outfit". Then I was going to use more for the next updates but I didn't get a reply.

 

I was also planning to use vtaw clothes for William's outfit but he is another one who has no interest in even responding. Good thing because in the end I used Gamo Holik's assets and I think it looks great.

Personally I do like the look of some of the vtaw clothes, but the way they are added to the game is a bit lazy. Just my opinion of course. But not a single one of those vtaw sets has a referenced slot number outside of looking them up in Fo4Edit, which makes them very 'mix & match' unfriendly. And I personally hate when that is done. Again this all just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt the size of Luna (the moon).

 

But the Easy Girl and TRS outfits are great in all aspects. And I have been using them since they where first available.

That would work but it's not game ending, just mildly immersion breaking because they probably wouldn't be your biggest "fans".  If you do make the change, cool, if you don't, you don't no big deal. I'm sure it will be in the notes if you do.

Yeah, by default they don't.  I'm using Equipment and Crafting Overhaul(ECO) with Complex Item Sorter(CIS) and make a CIS patch with a FO4Edit script that adds body slot numbers to almost all apparel in game.  It also adds correct tags so it works with FallUI suite and the new FallUI Item Sorter in game for subtext on weapons to show mods on a 2nd line and use the expanded icon library.  The only mod it doesn't seem to add slots to correctly is DD, didn't work with 2.0 and it doesn't work with RC8, but they may not be listed as clothing so it may just not be able to tag them.  Here's a screenshot.

Where can I find Gamo Holik's mods, not on Nexus, web search, or LL.         G

Web changes name to Gamoholic, I searched that and Gamoholik. Nada

About Quest "Made in Heaven" in Nuka Lab, game is on very easy, Boris & Baldwyn did not kill each other, and on my 5th back-up and try again I used TFC, flew to one, tilde key, mouse click to bring up their ID, Kill, and then both died.

I have the most problems with this Quest out of all Quests in Nuka Ride, always problematic for some reason.

It would also be nice if their dialog was forced like OB, wooden horse dialog.                 G

 

 And when do you want suggestions posted, I know you asked for them to wait as you are working on another project.

Many dialogues should be forced. Of course, I didn't know how to do them then. I literally understood how to do them a month ago (when Corsican tells you to go to the pink room and starts filming. That was my first time). 

 

Everything else I'll be adding in time, when I get back to work on the mod. I have no idea when that will be. 

 

@Axary I don't remember having any problems with the protectron -btw I understand that it is impossible to make stages with them because of their skeletons-. But if it works for you I will include it.

Yes.
Since AAF can't transfer the Protectron skeleton from one animation to another, I merged the stages into one long animation (merged several .hkx files into one).
Since it is now one long animation(83 seconds / 2500 frames), there is no problem with skeleton transfer, because there is no transfer itself?

 

And yes, this isn't a fix for NR, it's a fix for the SavageCabbages Animation Pack. I posted this fix in the SavageCabbages discussion thread.

But since I made this fix first of all to make everything nice in NR, I posted it here too.

It looks amazing. Yeah!, I will include it within NR and upload it soon -I want to allow time for some small fix if necessary-. Look, I already put your tree-guide into practice. 

 

It's so cool that I might use Charon again. The truth is that I never wanted to use him much precisely because this animation was bugged.

dangerous nights has a deactivate selection it its mcm menu, so it need not be uninstalled.  In my opinion this mod should be off while doing almost any quest like NR, or main quest like sleeping in your room at the institute.  On when roaming around to take settlements, clearing buildings, and simple quests.  that is how I use it.

And at that point, the question of 'What's the point of even having it?' comes to mind.

I mean personally I don't even use DN for Fo4, I had it for Skyrim; But Skyrim had a lot less conflicting qualities.

But that's just my thoughts on the subject, take it for what you will.

I just tried it out and for  the most part it worked.....the only thing is when the protectron stopped after all the stages were done, AAF said that it was exiting the animation, but my character started over from the beginning stage and the protectron stopped his animation.  So he just stood there and she went through almost the whole animation sequence again....it finally stopped itself after about 130 seconds or so.  I have NR set for 50 seconds so it seems that after the 80 seconds of animation that it started her again for the 50 seconds that NR has.......

Hey JB....am doing another run through and a strange thing has happened.  I just completed the trip to go and get Music.....went to her tattoo shop and asked her to doll me up for the OB.  Went and got the beer and drugs....went to the OB and he was pissed and said he heard that I was disrespectful to Maddox.....and he whipped me for it.......for the life of me, I don't remember talking to Maddox yet.......

Looks like I was wrong, and everything is fine with the "Settings.isNPCControlled = true" parameter.
AAF seems to have a little bug with the FIRST started animation in the game session, it seems not all AAF functions are active at once, so it can't force finish it.
Then everything works fine, the problem is only with FIRST animation.
Solves the problem very simply: during the animation, open and close the AAF menu (2 times press the "Home" button).

 

If you have a save near the Protectoron, could you check my assumption?
Start the game -> load the save -> start the animation with Protectron -> during the animation open and close the AAF menu -> see how the animation ends.

No....still goes through the 50 seconds of NR time....just my character....the protectron just stands there.  It does the whole staged scene without a problem....when AAF says it is exiting is where it starts her over again for 50 seconds....

think I'm stuck there somehow, my questline says nothing, my questmarker points to Charlotte, and she tells me to talk to Music to get an appointment with overlord... I went to music, said I need an appointment, and she said done, but when I go to OL, there's noone in the room. How can I solve this? (btw the quest marker never stops to point to Charlotte)

Hummm....ok....so I only had NR set for 30 seconds......so I guess it is running her twice and the protectron once through the animation scene before exiting....has nothing to do with the time I set in NR......

I think you need to go to the guy in the market and get the beer and drugs before going to the OB.

Also...you find that quest in the Misc quests......so switch to that and it will guide you to the guy in the market.....this is a repeatable side quest that you have to do at least once.

That's clever?.

Do you think this method (merging idles) could also fix DeathCalw animations or even dogs (revert back to standing position between stages). And what software did you use (3ds ?)
