That didn't work, but thanks for the help! I think ill try a fresh install of fallout and AAF tomorrow and hope that does it

You installed the complete MEGA folder with all its files. You are supposed to go into the folder and download the files you need, individually.

You have to modify the values of _NR_LightWhite2 in "Light" category. But right now I don't remember what value you should decrease. I think it is "Exponent" but you have to modify the values and test.

Hmm don't know why, but when installing the voice files for 5.0.4j, the VO for the lines when on the Cito quest, when Kells agrees to a date with Morrgan have 'magically disappeared'. It worked before with the older VO file, but now it doesn't.

 

And looking into it, it looks like the new one (5.0.4j) is in a folder, and the old (5.0.0) isn't.

Are these meant to be used together?

Or is there just some 'human error' involved in packing it?

Yup, it seems like there is a packing error. Because pulling the ba2 out of the folder, placing it directly in the data folder, and the VO is back and working just fine. So a heads up on that one.

In this new version Axary added the voices for the customers in the Nuka Club.

Are you using the mod pack "SexFall 7.5"?

If so, ask the author of this mod pack for help.

Something in this mod pack conflicts with NR-5, and since the mods in it are repackaged, only the author of this pack can help you.

 

Alternatively, you can disable precombines.

Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4Custom.ini -> bUseCombinedObjects=0

But this significantly reduces FPS, so for weak systems it is a bad solution.

Probably the NR4 pre-combine data is still in that pack -bashed patch or whatever it is called-. The NR5 pre-combines are different.

That line is on my Fallout.ini, not FalloutCustom.ini is there a difference?

Look on page 263....I tell you and show you with some crude pictures how to have Nuka Ride load last in Vortex.....once you do this you will not need to do it again....in the future all you need to do is disable the old Nuka Ride mod and install the updated mod then delete the old mod and it will still load last.  Having it in this order will solve a lot of potential problems.

When I read the guides, some said that this parameter is in "Fallout.ini" and others said that it is in "Fallout4Custom.ini".
I guess there's no difference...
Maybe it depends on how the game recognizes the video card.

No difference. Just custom is there if you don't wanna edit the regular ini

Thanks guys, I try to read everything i can find but sometimes i end up more confused bc i read 1 here and 1a somewhere else so... is better to ask and learn from others experience

Hmm... On version 5.0.4j it seems that if you talk to Corsican about doing some of the 'degrading stuff', Kells never goes up to the 4th floor. So you end up having to talk to, and "film" with him on the first floor, no where near the camera used.

The script looks good. I tried and Kells goes to the top floor. Could you retest it? Maybe it was bad timing.

@Operand That scene you reported (about the woodhorse) was always problematic because it requires talking to the Overboss when he is in front of you, but you don't have the HUD elements and ultimately it's not intuitive. However, since that time I did the scene I have learned more things and now I redid the scene. I forced the Overboss to talk to you (without you intervening) and forced an alternate camera as the dialogue camera is very weir when the character is in the woodhorse. 

 

I would like to introduce this kind of changes in more scenes another time. Especially in the early films shot with Corsican. 

 

 

(I'm missing touches like removing the slapping sound...). 
 

 

 

 

What I will not add in this scene are actual whipping scenes. The AI behaves weird around the Woodhorse or maybe because your character is not touching the ground, I don't know.

sorry, this is totaly unrelated to this mod i figure, but does anyone know where the npc 'Foxy Buttspanks' came from? its clearly from some AAF related mod or something but i havent a clue what i installed to create THAT npc XD (FYI this is a literal anthro overly busty fox furry npc who can apparently become a companion, not that i have any interest in that, furry isnt my thing, more interested in getting rid of it than anything but if its attached to something i do care about i will leave it be.)

 

Edit: Also totaly unrelated to this or the mod, just figured some ppl might get a laugh at me for my failures, so i just bought a new video card (read: 2nd hand used slightly older model but better than my old one) and went to install it... only to find out modern video cards need sup power from the psu and i didnt have the connectors (evga card with nvidia 970 gtx cores, uses 2x 6pin connectors) so i had to also get an upgraded psu, got one but it had 2x 6-2pin connectors that were solid w/o the 2pins being separate connectors i could use as necessary, so i had to buy an extension cable so i could have JUST 6pin run from one of the 6-2pins so it would fit, only to find out NOW i put the psu in backwards in my haste (output fan was pointing DOWN to the bottom of my case rather than towards the internal hardware) and pc was getting hot using the new card, NOW i corrected that just a few min ago, here's hoping i didnt do anything ELSE wrong XD

By chance, do you think you could make this investor meeting repeatable at some point? I really enjoy this scene lol

Well, i am sorry to tell ya, your Mod is not working!

 

1. I was brought to Nuka World by Car ok, good.

2. Your Robot said Dance naked, So my Player/Female did NOTHING, stand there and what now?

3. That Robot told me go to Shank and talk about the Video! AH Yes, what the Hell he is talking about?

I was by Shank and there is not a single Trace Dialogue about some Video.

4. He asked for Sex, and, well, Nothing happened!

Yes i got all installed, everything!

Oh Btw my AAF on the Screen Right when i press HOME to open AAF i read:     MODUS:  undefined

Sorry, but this Mod works not!

It does work. More than that, it does work very well. So long as you've read the requirements and set all of them correctly. One of those requirements is functioning AAF installation together with necessary animations which you seem to be missing.

Noted; I wonder, however - how does all that interact with HUD mods. For safety - maybe it's worth having a timer and time-out the scene if there's no player input after said time? Start the timer when OB says his lines (via Fragment) for say 30 seconds and then cancel the timer every time PC replies. So if the timer was not cancelled - that means PC did nothing within 30 seconds and you can unlock them. It won't break the desired flow of the scene but can serve as a much needed emergency fix for setups where the bug I described still happens.

This mod works quite well, so it's either your load order is a mess or you're missing requirements. Check Saya Scarlet(t)'s AAF Fucking guide then check this mods requirements. I'm already on my 2nd playthru with and it's going as smooth as the first.
