I may add a fade to black to the scene with the Mirelurk, but I remember thinking about it briefly when I did that quest and thought no one would care because yeah, role-playing wise, "Kells is there". 

 

Mortal Kombat music? Nah, the battle against Poodle is more like an old west style duel, outside the saloon. At least the second camera is like the one in the duels. The first camera is more like the duels in Monkey Island.

I now have controls in the bottom left like auto exit and left, right, up and down keys.  Except they do nothing and the animation doesn't move past the first stage until AAF timer runs out or i force end it.

I have already tested almost all scene and all of them finished by themselves (at least the ones that now have trees, the rest are still subject to the time set in the MCM). 

 

If you want the J version for some reason I can re-upload it to MEGA, unless you have already fixed the problem with AAF.

i'm sorry if i have missed some reference but i,m really stuck in hearts of steel quest but from this context i think you are asking me to also mention version that im playing in that case my apologies it took me some time to understand that now we are supposed to mention version of NR mine is latest i think 5.0.4k last i played this mod was in june

For my own mental sanity I only reply/do checks when the (new) person has the courtesy to at least leave a simple "thank you" for this free work. The rest is like an elephant entering a china shop.

Aye, it's "possible" in FO4Edit. That is - you can change it but it will do nothing so long as you have templated ActorBase in there. I've never dabbled into that area, but it seems Papyrus almighty can help you here.

It's fine. My surprise was mostly because it technically won't work for setups where AAF doesn't include creatures. I did exactly that - applied IMOD with a message a-la "you filmed the thing" to circumvent that.

Hmmm. That works too. Why I got Mortal Combat in my head was - well, they emote and almost "dance" around while insulting each other. A wild western-style shootout is way more stoic and focused. But hey - that was just a thought of jollies, no need to pay much attention to it :)

I thought about putting this on at the time but I didn't know how to put a penis on top of the suit (for the sexscene) and it seemed easier to use the original skin of Mirelurk King hehehe.

Thank you so much for this mod! It's been a ton of fun so far.

I'd love to get your help on an issue I'm having however, if you please. I realized a decent amount into the game that I can't seem to enter the dugout inn at all. Even when creating a fresh new character. It always gives me the same error logs in buffout as well. I have nuka ride at the absolute bottom above everything in the load order on Vortex, and it seems like uninstalling nuka ride fixes the issue, but that's not ideal haha. I'll leave the crash log here and I hope anyone here more tech savvy than me can figure it out!

? The log indicates a precominbes problem. Don't you have something that mods the Dugout Inn? My mod touches the bar slightly: add a pole for dancing and some posters around it. 

 

What's strange to me is that the meshes don't come from any mod, but from the base game.

No, it does not require you to start over. Most CTDs require you to resolve a conflict with mods and that's it.

@JB.I'm assuming this is meant for me, in that case first I fully agree that no one should do this free work without atleast getting some gratitude, secondly let me correct my mistake and thank you for this wonderful mod, I'm sorry that I forgot my manners.

Alright, I moved the patches under nuka ride in the load order alongside start me up. I can't think of any mods I have that might change the dugout inn. I have a base game retexture mod. Vivid Fallout. Could that be it? And here's hoping. Testing rn!

i've been running vivid fallout with NR without issue, it's something else

"Heart of Steel" is the last quest and if you have already talked to the Overboss (who should be on the second floor, not the first floor) you should be at stage 130. 

 

If for some reason he was waiting for you on the first floor, something went wrong and I would recommend that you reload the save before being in bed with Maxson. 

 

Check the start of this video for reference

 

 

Now check it out and write this: 

 

SQV _NukaRide_Steel

 

It should come out: 

 

State: Running
Stage: 130

 

 

Hitting that stage starts the Nuka Club quest, which is in "Miscellaneous" -for technical reasons I didn't put it as a normal quest-. 

 

So write: 

 

SQV _NukaRide_NC

 

 

And it should come out:

 

State: Running
Stage: 100

 

If for some reason it is stopped, type the following. 

 

StartQuest _NukaRide_NC
SetStage _NukaRide_NC 100

 

You should also write this

 

SetStage _NukaRide_Steel 50
SetStage _NukaRide_Steel 51
SetStage _NukaRide_Steel 52
SetStage _NukaRide_Steel 53
SetStage _NukaRide_Steel 54

 

 

This would not be the first case of script lag.

Even if you type "coc DmndDugoutInn01"? So you don't have to use the door. I'm not very knowledgeable about the logs but it's just that I consistently see that the log points to a door before the crash. ?

Didn't work either ._. I wonder if it has anything to do with that vulkan memory crash thing. I remember reading about installing a vulkan renderer or something. Lemme try that!

It looks like you use some mods that break / modify precombines, specifically on the ref

[REFR:000C62DF] (places UtilHallDeadEndDoor01 [SCOL:0003D100] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of DmndDugoutInn01 "Dugout Inn" [CELL:00001E5D] in Precombined\00001E5D_33BD1F3F_OC.nif)

 

(referring to the SCOL 3D100)

 

You can try finding your mod (mods) that changes precombines and disabling them. Alternatively - disable all your mods, install NR with all its requirements and try again. If it's indeed Vulkan issue - then it will still break. But then you should also crash in these locations:

i've never tried this mod, but i think Barbarous continent modify some stuff in DC and dugout, it also seem you place it pretty high in your load order, just like NR these kind of mods needs to be near the bottom usually.

That's the most common Fo4 crash point, loading doors. Been that way since the game first released. It's also why I have a habit of always 'hard saving' my game before I attempt to exit an area, and can't bring myself to play on survival because of the inability to do 'hard saves'.

I tried completely disabling it and it still crashes :( I'll fix it in the load order though!
