I had to make a comment here about this mod. I have been playing it since yesterday and first of all : THIS MOD IS AWESOME ! I am dead serious and to explain why it's so awesome let me tell this. Playing it was an absolute torture for me, since i don't generally play a sub character. I'm more into the idea of characters starting from nothing and or having terrible trauma and getting strong, bla bla, the clichet from the 80's i suppose. Now, that being said. I just loved the mod. There were moments that made me laugh, moments that were just charming with the music and setup like the very first trip to Goodneighborhood, and many many moments that just made me rage. lol. As said before, i hate playing pure submissive, but i actually was driven by the story and really wanted to see the end of it,(Still haven't finished it yet) always with the hope that i could one day, stab the overboss in the balls. At this point, i think it's not what this mod is about and such turn of events doesn't seem like a possibility, sadly for me. This is not a complain, just to be clear and since i haven't finished it yet i still have some hope lol. I was wishing this would be an alternative way more realistic of becoming the overboss. Because the vanilla version from lazy Bethesda just sucks....I have a complain though. I noticed that in most dialogues i am forced to go through all the choices before the dialogue to advance the scene shows up, causing some inconsistencies. Sometimes i tried to be rebellious but in the end, you end up having to be sub which can make sense sometimes but not always. But sometimes you just go sub directly but i still had to go through all the other lines which didn't make any sense to me. Now that being said, i insist, this is a really nice mod/dlc, whatever people wanna call it. You managed to give more depth to all the base game characters than the original dlc made by Bethesdick. Believe it or not. Thanks for your work.

Thanks !! ? Note that this version is version 4, so during parts 1, 2 and 3 there was originally no submissive/rebellious route. I added that in 4 and tried to adapt the previous quests, so there may still be inconsistencies here and there.

And the mod will have two endings, one in which you can effectively kill the Overboss (better to say "let him die", not kill him directly). But for that there is a long way to go.

well i finally just finished the mod. I can't wait for an update. Really a blast. I just loved the last mission "Fun, fun". A bit disappointed by the last interaction with the overboss, but i wasn't surprised. He is a big asshole after all. About letting him die, makes me think about what happens with the nazi in goodneihboor, you know the guy Music asks you to deal with. I found it super satisfactory to "offer him" that fresh beer in the end even though he was handsome lol. Trying not to spoil anything. Anyways this mod was so much fun. THANKS ❤️ (by the way, am i nuts by having some Final Fantasy XV vibes ?)

Its just a guessing, but are you using the fallsouls mod?

Nope.  As said in previous reply, it seems my difficulty was just a longer than usual time between the force greet by Kaiser and the start of dialogue plus my own impatience.

(hope I'm not posting this twice, if I did ignore.)

So am i having trouble with the lucy in the sky quest, i got to the part where you are moved from the first jail cell and Bulldog had a line of dialogue at the new place before it crashed. When i then tried to go through the quest again i now instead get consistent crashes when being abducted from the stream. Crash log is from the latest crash.

Load order issue.

This is your load order. Nuka Ride should go under these three (these three are NR masters).

    [A1]     AAF_BadEnd_Animations.esp
    [B3]     KziitdAnimationPoses.esp

He's a good guy. And in NR5 there is a mission with him. And if in your game he is dead, then you will not be able to get an outift that he will give you. ?️‍?️

Can't say I was inspired by FFXV but I'm glad you liked it.. ?

Am trying to play the main game and Mankind - Redefined failed to start, I tried setstage inst303 10 and nothing happened. Am just wondering if Father got messed with or something.

No, I only use clones, except in the first quests (the motorcycle, the mayor, geneva, vadim).

I just fixed this for myself.....it is a load order problem....I use Vortex and Vortex can say that it is last, but in reality it isn't.  Changing the load order index does not work....it will show that it is last, but it isn't.  you have to make your own group order....call it last load.....then put Nuka Ride in that group....then go into manage groups.....delete the line going to last load and draw a new one from the last to the new last load.  I watched a bunch of videos on YouTube on how to do the load order.....this worked.  Not only did it fix the CTD in Lucy in the sky, but it seems to have made everything work better.

That is the exact same problem i had, every time you get abducted CTD!, the quid is that i use NMM and in the plugins.txt file it was in the bottom but in the Buffout reports it wasn't.

Exactly...the buffout log or crashlog showed that NukaRide was not last.....but Vortex showed it as being last when it wasn't....making my own load group and putting that group as the last to load fixed it...pretty simple to do in Vortex, but far from intuitive.

If JB has any hair he has probably pulled it all out by now......He has said all along that Nuka Ride has to be last.....how many people, like me, think that it is last when it really isn't.

I can't seem to get Lucy in the Sky to initiate at all and I'm not sure if it's just me missing something because I'm dense or something being wrong... as a product of me being dense. No CTDs or anything. I got the fan letter, read it, took it to Charlotte (though I did go and do some other stuff first, but nothing I'd expect to interfere with this. Just stopped by the Overboss's place). She tells me about an outfit waiting in my apartment but nothing's there when I go to the apartment and check for it. I can't talk to her any further after setting up the Lucy quest and the quest doesn't appear in the journal or anything. I tried seeing if I was supposed to just go to the farm on my own and when I got there, Lucy was already talking as if I'd met her and brought her on. I didn't try just talking to the parents yet, admittedly. Am I just overlooking something?

EDIT: I fiddled around with it some more and still nothing. Trying the parents first does nothing, I couldn't use the console to force-activate the quest or move Colter to the apartment (well, I did manage to move Colter, but he just walked back out). I checked back over several pages of the support forum and saw one instance of having the repeatable Colter visit active at the same time conflicting with it. I never did have the two running at once, but I even took the extreme measure of starting from an earlier save, all the way back to when I first picked up Music in Goodneighbor, and I still couldn't start the Lucy quest by the time I got back around to it, even while avoiding the Colter visit entirely on that second pass and letting Charlotte get through all of her dialogue without touching anything. I've seen a few other instances of the same problem, up to about 30 or so pages back, but no solution that I could see. So I'm really just kinda stuck.

EDIT2: I was able to get it working by going through and disabling stuff, one at a time. From the looks of it, something about FPE was causing the problem. Either a conflict on its own or something with Colter bugged out when I did the first visit. Not sure. I wasn't even using FPE for that particular PC anyway, so no skin off my nose. But figure it's worth mentioning that something in FPE might be able to cause Colter to bug out.

hey what would cause your body to be invisible with the outfits?

Having the wrong body installed....make sure you have the proper bodyslide file installed for the body you are using....then rebuild the clothes with the proper body selected.

Yeah we had a long chat about that, cause i swore that i had it last and he kept telling me it wasn't the only solution were to remove the mod entirely and make a fresh install, i also detected that some mods arent in the right place i mean i have some bat's to wear some clothes, so i place it like this:

14.equipitem 22000955; Backpack

I can see that in the plugins list on NMM they are in the right order and the right place, but in game, they are one place up or down... meaning 21 or 23 xxxxxx... ?‍♂️

Well, I found the mod recently and only finished it yesterday. First, and most importantly, I'm impressed. This is the best story adult mod I've ever seen. And the only one that is stable. Mostly.

I could praise the author further, but a wall of text is planned, so straight to the point. Some aspects of the mod work against its own plot and, if at all possible, they are better changed.

1. The very beginning and the weakest part of the mod. The moment with the letter from the robo-eye looks unbelievable. The heroine abruptly gives up searching for her son and goes into the porn industry? What? It may be 200 years in the world, but for her it's 1 day. Just yesterday she was a mother and wife. That's a big turnaround.

Yes, the author then quite convincingly justifies this decision of hers in a dialogue with Music. But it's too late. Because the pickup in Nuka World is relatively not close, the protagonist already has time to go through "becoming a hero" anyway: she will learn to use weapons, kill a pack of mole rats at the gas station, partially rebuild Sanctuary and (most devastating for diving into the mod's story) may pass Concord, which is right on our way. All this makes her subsequent lines as a "weak" woman who cannot survive on her own extremely unconvincing.

What can be done? Hmm, robo-eye finds the protagonist right at the Vault 111 exit. I'd add a dialogue (not a letter) to robo-eye, like: scanning, female of fertile age detected, definition of appearance... high-quality. Hey, vault girl, come with me if you want to live! Joke. In general, work must be offered through dialogue, without any mention of "porn." Robo-eye can respond to leading questions with figurative expressions like, work in hot movies. Questions about what the fuck that means won't be answered (limitation of the program, oops), suggesting taking the heroine to the pickup truck (teleportation to the destination, so as to avoid wandering around the wasteland and accidentally "becoming a hero").

In general, the protagonist may have two choices here. Agree and go with the robo-eye. Or refuse, like, I'm looking for my son and check my house. In this case, the robo-eye will say, like, I'll wait for you here for 3 days if you change your mind, and then the chance will be missed. And, importantly, after 3 days robo-eye and the chance to start the mod will indeed be missed. The mod story is still an alternate startup and not suitable for a high-level character anyway.

You can leave a reminder for the player, right after the quest with Codsworth in Sanctuary, when the protagonist finds no trace of her son and receives vague advice to visit Concord. Just in the form of a text box, like, I don't know what to do, where to look for my son and... and what was that robo-eye saying? Should I really go with him? It promised me a safe place and some kind of job in the local... film industry, I think (no mention of porn!).

Something like that. And yes, the pickup in Nuka World is better placed in a different, more isolated place, where there are no quests showing the protagonist's ability to survive on her own or solve problems with weapons or persuasion.

There is no need to charge the heroine. Add a line of dialogue to the Protectron driver, explaining that the caps are the local currency, and we really need them to survive in this new world. Again, no mention of porn. That it's porn, we can start guessing only in the process of dancing at the gate Nuka World, and directly to us will be told before the quest with Mason (except that no one will take us back and, in fact, we have no choice anymore).

The line for sex with the dog should be removed, too. I would never believe that yesterday's housewife, exemplary mother and wife, would agree to such a thing at once. Not for 180 caps, not even 180,000 caps. Again. 200 years for the world, but only 1 day for her.

As a joke, you can add a line of dialogue, like:
- Do you by any chance need a lawyer? I have a degree!
- No, we don't, honey, so take off your clothes, spread your legs, and let's shoot!

2. In the Nisha quests, it's better to get rid of randomness by slightly reworking the dialogue with the big guy at Diamond City. I understand what the author was trying to do, but it doesn't work. That kind of randomness just makes the player's choices meaningless.

I think the seduction dialogue should be 100% successful. But going through the dog with randomness. But, if the dog detects drugs, then you can choose emergency seduction with 100% success, a 100 cap bribe, or... or go proudly handcuffed back to Nuka World.

3. Educational, mod-mechanical inserts, just break the immersion. In most cases, you can integrate them into the dialogs. Those that can't, you can put in the MCM menu to the mod. This whole mod is about the immersion effect. It is desirable to build it up, not disrupt it with intrusive cues.

4. Improve interaction for Survival Mode. Give the apartment immediately after the first porn shoot, mentioning that it belongs to some local big shot (we find out about Overboss later, as it is presented in the mod). And the producer will immediately tell us about the food fridge. Better to convert this fridge to "vendor" mode, where you can immediately buy 20-30 servings of noodles for 6 caps/piece (extremely annoying to click "E" 50-60 times while stocking up on food, honestly).

I just ran around the park the first time, collected water bottles, and bought food at the market, wasting a lot of time (and caps!). It turned out to be unnecessary. Oh, and the fact that a local porn actress is sleeping at the market in slave beds looks... weird. She may not be a star yet, but she's certainly a status above slaves. I mean, she's supposed to have a private bed right away. She's the only actress here (at first). So she's important! Eh, well, almost.

Also remove the endless condom generators in the apartment, which are actually quite expensive on the market. A couple of boxes of 20-30 condoms would be enough. Otherwise... why should we work if we have a magic box of condoms to sell endlessly? Player self-limitation is fine, but it's always a bad option.

5. The heroine constantly complains that she doesn't have a gun. Give me a gun! It's dangerous here, I need a gun! No one gives me a gun... Every time I read these lines of dialogue I'm like - what?! You got a gun, honey! Improved and stocked with ammo! But the mod acts like we're always unarmed.

How to fix it? Hmmm... Maybe add some kind of NPC guard, which will appear if we have in our inventory any long-range weapons and take it away? After searching and groping our butt, of course. Why? Well, we're not a raider, and they're the only ones allowed to carry weapons here? How did the guard know we had a gun? Well, the other raiders told him. And how did they know that? Well, our outfits are so tight that we can't carry guns inconspicuously.

In a good way, melee weapons should be taken away too, except for the smallest, like a switchblade knife or a simple brass knuckle, which, supposedly, can be hidden even in the cramped outfits that we wear.

For those few weapons that we can get during the Nuka Ride quests, you can make exceptions. I mean, this hypothetical guard might not take them away. Or not.

Conclusion. I'm not complaining, no! Once again, I really enjoyed the mod and will look forward to the continuation. All of the above are just my feelings and some ideas that came up as I went through it. Perhaps some of it will come in handy for the author. Thank you. This mod is like that Kells movie - a fucking masterpiece.

My girl became a porn actress without taking a single shot.

Codsworth killed all the bugs in the Sanctuary, watching this she realized that she was totally unsuited to life in a changed world.
As she walked past the gas station, a dog ran up to her. She realized that she was incapable of taking on the responsibility of caring for the pet now, so she sent the dog to Codsworth. She was afraid of getting into trouble, so she didn't search the gas station.
As she was walking down Concord, gunshots were heard on the left, being a confused woman, of course my girl turned right.
Seeing the conflict at the Drumlin Diner, she did not interfere in it, what could an office worker do against armed drug dealers?

Personally, I think the beginning of Nuka Ride makes more sense than the beginning of the game itself.
A female lawyer (office worker) who had everything yesterday and has nothing left today. Who knows nothing of the changed world. Rather agree to become a porn actress than become a super soldier+builder+scientist+etc...

Actually, I'm down with most of this. The beginning kinda made me wince too, but I could kind of ignore it on account of me playing with Start Me Up and not actually being Shaun's mother. Which is the one thing I think is overlooked in all of this. If you do that, then a lot of the criticisms around the beginning sections are largely irrelevant. I was rping my PC as just a wasteland thief who got tired of struggling to survive and constantly getting beat up, shot at, and all that. I also, though, thought it'd have been a better spin to have the robots offer a job without specifically mentioning what it was, then trapping you in Nuka World under the ultimatum or "Actress or Slave. Your call." essentially. The gun thing did bug me, though, since I was also carrying around a fully modded handgun. I think the mod could've done with some tweaks to make it so the game acknowledges you have one.

I really like this and I think I'm going to include it. I've always wanted to write dialogue for Duke the eyebot and it's a perfect opportunity to try to reinforce the idea that being a porn actress is convenient. Thanks for the ideas!

If I remember correctly all the conversations where you request weapons are optional. If you have weapons do not select those dialogs. Same thing with the dog at the beginning. You can refuse to film with a dog and film another alternative.

It is possible to force the player not to use weapons while wearing Nuka Ride outfits. I actually want to implement it in NR5 now that I've learned how to do it.

You, sir, are a true role player. I, by the way, used roughly the same reasoning and bypassed Concord as well. Like, they're shooting there, we're not going there, oh no.

I'm more about it being more of a player's self-limitation. And I think it would be much better if it was integrated into the mod itself. Therefore, having considered the situation, the involvement in the porn industry is better done before leaving Sanctuary. Like, we've got a scared woman here. She just saw giant cockroaches. Giant cockroaches! And outside is a new and scary world. It's about time to recruit her. While she's alone, confused and scared. That's why I suggested changing the intro a bit.

Of course, if the author of the mod considers it appropriate to his vision and has the time and desire to do so.

I can remove weapons from your inventory, in fact I thought that Charon can do that as a requirement to travel. But I also think that it is very intrusive and a sane person would never allow traveling without her weapon, being in the context we are in.

Unless it's kidnapping, but I'd rather keep the porn studio voluntary.

I know this is an optional choices. It's just that... Everyone has them, even characters who shouldn't have them. Like weapons. It's like I answered the person above, kind of a self-limitation of the player. If you can, it's better to make it part of the gameplay of the mod.

Anyway, follow your vision. In my experience, this is the best option. There will always be ideas thrown around from the outside, not knowing all the complexities.

And thanks for the great story.

Hmm... that's not a bad solution, by the way. Like, I'll drive you to this Nuka World, only without the gun. If the heroine objects, the protectoron driver can hand her a brass knuckle instead of her weapon and say, like, there's an army of raiders out there, darling. And they won't like it at all that you have a gun. You're not going to fight a whole army of raiders by yourself, are you? And kicking some asshole in the balls is more than enough for you with a knuckle.

Why the knuckles? Well, we'll get a few hand-to-hand combat skills in the process... what a convenient coincidence.

Doesn't solve the problem, though, that you can get guns in Nuka World from every garbage can. That's why I thought of a special NPС that would always take away weapons.

Yeah. I don't think taking the weapons away is necessarily the solution. I just think it repeatedly being noted that I don't have a gun when I actually have several is something that could've been tweaked. It's a minor thing. I've only been through it once, so I don't know about any branches, but the mod also seems to assume the PC is just useless in a fight and has never been in any violent confrontations which would make it odd, then, for the PC to be carrying a gun at all. (your "sister" being "fixed" to no longer have combat capability in order to be more like you made me wince, but I can shrug that off as her being a synth and it's more of a safety precaution from Shaun) Though that could easily be chalked up to people just assuming you have no idea how to handle yourself in a fight. The mod doesn't give you a whole lot of opportunities to prove otherwise, which is fine. It's just a really minor, weird thing to be complaining about not having a weapon when I definitely do. I don't think it's major enough to warrant immediately fixing it since the mod doesn't really ever give you any opportunities to prove you can handle a weapon anyway.

There are some good ideas, but you have to remember that the more open the mod is, the better it fits into each of the stories that each player tells, for example I'm not going to Concord at first, even though there is an option to do that Nora won't be a lawyer, but a veteran like Nate, I see no reason to go ill-armed in a conflict that does not affect me, that's why first I go with Harship to see the nearest farm, there they recommend that I be a prostitute, they feed me, they let me spend the night there, they protect me from the ghouls that are hunting at night, they let me bathe, and they even pay me something for my sexual services, from there I get to Drumlin Diner, but I don't get involved in the discussion, I also find the bounty hunters, and Gardner warns me that what can happen if I choose to be violent, I find the robot that offers me the option of employment, but I do not take it immediately, he is crazy, maybe i had to prostitute myself the first day for food and protection, but I will not make it a way of life, or so I think until a gang of raiders makes me their sex slave at Raider Pet in Corvega, once I manage to escape the idea of being a porn star, paid, fed and protected doesn't seem so bad.

@Jb has the idea of not allowing violence in the mod at all, however Gage finally gives you a weapon, I've always thought it's a good idea to include a character that trains you in combat, of course traded by sexual favors, after all you beat in melee a Gunner, you have talent, but it's a huge gap in the story, in fact in the conversation with Music she says it clearly, "I'm not going to jump in a power armor with a minigun to kill monsters", that's why I also play with sex education that gives me experience points for each sexual encounter, but I haven't been able to justify how when I end Nuka Ride mod I already know about weapons and combat... maybe I learned by watching? or maybe The guard in DC agreed to teach me, if i finally let him use my ass, maybe it was Gage, or the guys from the pack that i danced for in the zoo?

Yeah we had a long chat about that, cause i swore that i had it last and he kept telling me it wasn't the only solution were to remove the mod entirely and make a fresh install, i also detected that some mods arent in the right place i mean i have some bat's to wear some clothes, so i place it like this:

14.equipitem 22000955; Backpack

I can see that in the plugins list on NMM they are in the right order and the right place, but in game, they are one place up or down... meaning 21 or 23 xxxxxx... ?‍♂️

Plugin indices aren't always aligned with the plugin load order. This is for a few reasons, but primarily it's that the game freezes the IDs in your save so that if your load order changes you don't lose things defined in or referred to in the plugins which moved around. Another is that ESL-flagged ESPs all use the FE index position (with a subindex added), but can be sorted anywhere into your actual load order.
