That said, i see two possible solutions to continue Nora’s story :

 

1- You can continue to develop the plot with Kali and follow the journey of a domina, potentially creating a Domina/submissive relationship and/or becoming her apprentice ?

 

2- You could try to incorporate Atlas’s story. Nora would relive moments from her past in the same way as Norita, but the plot would mainly focus on Nate, Atlas and Nora ?

 

This would allow you to develop new quests that can be integrated into both routes, and Nora’s would be more hardcore than Norita’s. After all, that’s what people expect from this storyline … (Personally, i don’t see much point in it)

The same goes for the ending we’ll get with Atlas ; since Kellogg doesn’t appear in Nora’s storyline, he won’t be there to protect her.

 

You already knowmy preference between the two stories (just look at the screenshots i post xD), and besides, they’re incomparable ; it’s like night and day. So whatever you decide to do or develop in the future, i will enjoy following the adventures of Nuka Ride. Good luck to you JB, good luck to everyone who works closely or remotely to keep this mod as captivating as ever, even in 2026 !

I occasionally receive reports from Corsican and Keyshawn, which are usually resolved by adjusting the load order. But this is the first time anyone has reported the Overboss.

I know....something, about this that might help or maybe place to start?  Kinda?  I think it's tattoo related.  Somehow?  

 

This happens on super rare occasions, and nothing will fix it.  I usually at that point delete all the saves up til the fountain, don't even touch load order, then start over and it's fine.  But every time this happens, his body is invisible but I also noticed each time that Dallas' tattoos are not visible nor are Patti's.  Eventually if you reload, his body will appear but without any tattoos, Patti and Dallas have visible bodies but no tats.  The one instance where I continued to play, none of my tattoos appear as I get them BUT if I go to Music's store and get a tattoo set then suddenly tattoos appear on me, and reappear on Patti, Dallas, and OB, temporarily (eventually I'll notice they randomly disappear usually after a scene at the studio or sex scene).  I've played all the way through like this just to see what it impacts - spoiler, a LOT more bugs than there ever should be, including softlocks in dialogue, crashes, etc 

 

I couldn't trigger it to do this on purpose for the life of me because I truly don't know what the cause is, as I said I'll not change a thing about LO or which mods I have and simply start a new game, and usually know it'll be buggy by the fountain scene since if it plays smoothly the mod usually goes smooth too.  In Nora's route a similar thing can happen and you'll know  by the time you meet Mason if the same thing will happen (invisible OB body and the girls lack of tats when they appear) but invisiBoss is definitely something I've experienced.

If there is one thing I've learned about polls from multi-billion dollar corporations it is that a poll is just a guideline 

 

You now know that the majority of people who voted chose the Nora route, but you also can see that a significant amount of people want a Norita update, so you definitely should go with wherever your inspiration is telling you to go.  Forcing an update when you're not in the mood to further the story at that time won't benefit the people playing the mod even if they are wanting an update.  

 

I voted for the Norita route update myself, but was really torn on my vote for a while there.  I didn't even vote immediately and will be happy with either one being updated, but if you were feeling more in the mood to update Nora's route, I'd rather you do that than force yourself to update Norita's.  I LOVE the story so far, but would rather have to wait for what feels like an eternity for an update than to have you put one out that your heart wasn't in.  While I'm super excited for the Frat House and the Cola Cars quests that you've let us play early in and is absolutely killing me to find out how you reintroduce the girls and saw mention that you might add in the Dunmores, if all I get are a few new fun things to play with around the apartment for a bit, I'll take it 🥰 So long as you put some love into the update, I'm sure it will be worth every bit of waiting 🖤

That's the name the game gives to the save file; I have no influence there. It will always say that, I suppose.

Thanks for your understanding !!  🥰 At some point, inspiration for Nora's journey will probably return. Damn it, I created the character of a very annoying mother-in-law for the pre-war chapter for Nora, as well as a super religious neighbor who is a high school teacher. Not to mention other things. Nora's route is so sexual that I still don't know how to deal with the “I'm going back to the past and I'll meet my late husband” part. I consider myself to still be learning how to write, and today I think that scene should be very emotional, but that emotionality doesn't fit with such a sexual route. I'll see how I can solve it.

Thanks for the ideas! And also for the preset and those amazing pics! I'll try yor preset for a couple of days and if I like it, I'll change her. I kinda got used to Isabella's flat nose. It's like a peculiar feature that doesn't seem to bother her.

Тож що б ви не вирішили робити чи розвивати в майбутньому, мені сподобається стежити за пригодами Nuka Ride. Удачі вам JB, удачі всім, хто тісно або віддалено працює, щоб зберегти цей мод таким же захоплюючим, як ніколи, навіть у 2026 році !

Mate it's your mod do as you wish when you wish take on suggestions you like bin the one's you don't,probably not in your best interest to do polls because you wont please everybody and it will do your head in.

Still the best mod I've ever played and i can't think of enough platitudes to give you other than what I've said before,have a great new year!

This is easily one of my top 5 mods on LL and probably my favorite FO4 mod of all time (including anything from nexus and/or creation club). I cannot overstate how impressed I am with it (especially when I got the load order sorted). So by all means go wither the inspiration flows.

Hey, just checking in again - as hopeful as I was regarding the texture resizing, it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. 

 

It's not a big deal for - I can just stare at the ground and not look in the direction of it to get through the studio scenes. I'm playing on steam deck and I kind of just have to be fine with some crashes here and there.

Yup, alive and well. It never happened before but now that I updated the mod it always happens and I make sure to always to do it on a new save.

Seems plausible. Should I save and reload during the scene or before the scene happens? Because I tried reloading during the scene and the game would be stuck on the loading screen. Because I even tried running the mod with the bare minimum and it would still happen.

I say this assuming your previous comment was true, that you absolutely 100% have the correct load order, no conflicting mods, and since this is Norita you're starting a new game with no mods like SS2 or any companion mods and such...(pro tip that I've found works best is have all the necessary mods and once you finish the quest The Audition you can add in mods like that, once you know NR is working fully and you've gotten past any quests that other mods starting up could mess with)

 

In my experience, since this is soooooo early on, especially if it's your first time playing this route, truthfully, just delete all the saves, or copy the profile to a new one, and start from the very beginning.  I use the alt-start and patch to avoid the vanilla startup with running to the vault.  You could TRY to disable and then reenable the tattoos first which I don't believe I've done so if it works please let me know!!! - make sure the plugin is still in the correct load order, then launch from your save and see if it's fixed, but like I mention, this usually has a lot of bugs that shouldn't be there otherwise when this specific scene is not working properly.  Many are mild bugs like rusty faces even with the fix, others can lock you in quests.  It can be annoying to replay what you just played, but for the very best experience you definitely want this working properly 🖤

The only other thing I could think of that might have caused issues somehow is that I downgraded from Anniversary Edition to Old Gen but If I remember correctly the mod works best for Old Gen right? I can't see how me downgrading could've caused any issues. The thing is all my other mods work perfectly fine, even played SS2 on a seperate profile and it's working. (Just to be clear I have always been playing on Old Gen but simply had to downgrade because of the update).

It's always best to test it before the “Star Crops” quest begins. The quest starts silently when you say the line “It's none of your business” to Duke. A save where the quest has already started will always lead to the same thing.

I would be surprised if this is the issue, DLCNukaWorld.esm hasn't changed between the versions, and I believe OB is a clone so there is that.  Fallout4.esm had some changes, and some of the CC (they are doing delayed start).  I don't know if anyone else running AE downgrade to OG can confirm, but maybe later this week I can test it out.

 

For whatever reason I assume stage 40 is not firing on Star Crops, that is when all three (OB, Patti, Dallas) are enabled.

 

 

Edit: Did a quick test with AE content w/ OG executables, scene plays out fine.

 

 

@JB. Was able to reproduce this, if you answer "If he's the leader of all these nutcases..." then they are not enabled.

The OB and his girls become enabled when you talk to Sophie, sitting near the fountain.

 

 

 

But thanks for the video. The fact that you can hear him means that he is enabled. Look at the end, Shank is looking at the Overboss, and he seems to be up on Fizztop. I can write a failsafe for that. Force him to go down where he belongs.

Yeah I was just playing with it a bit more, and it seems like they don't move into position.  Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't.  When they didn't show up if I used prid on each NPC (including Shank) and moved them to player they were all enabled and got into position.  I moved OB & Shank, and then Patti & Dallas came out of Fizztop.

I'm using the old gen version off of GOG, dunno if you're using this or not but I have trouble with most mods without using this: Backported Archives mod which requires the Address Library to work

 

Dunno if it fixes anything for you but hope you can use that to make your game smoother at least 🖤

Okay I seem to have used the wrong words, so I got kind of misunderstood by new save, I mean new game. I always run a new game when testing all of the possible solutions and whatnot.

I assume the same with stage 40 but compared to your test my issue is that regardless of what choice I take it doesn't work and the dialogue won't proceed when the scene is meant to start plus them being invisible.

Okay, it's time to reveal my real motivation for recreating the female faces in Nuka Ride : It's Kali's faut, or rather, mine ... 😅 I must have made a mistake installing my texture mods, and i'm forced to use Real HD main file to work properly with KziitdFusionGirlSkin. Therefore, the "Texture for the Girls" mod offered by JB is incompatible, probably because i'm using a 2K texture. KziitdFusionGirlSkin use only one skin texture face, the textured one. So i'm limited to using this one, cause the others have a more yellowish tint. (This is particulary noticeable on Sophie's neck, and Kali ... she looks like an old junkie lady 😶)

I had no problems with Sophie, but most of the time, in this case with Kali, i have a recurring bug : a hole forming under my lower right lip.

So, instead of spending hours searching for the mod responsible for this bug, i preferred to spend hours modifying the character. XD 

Regarding his original hairstyle, i don't know which mod JB uses, so i'm offering two options, one of which is as close as possible to the original.

Once again, i remain as faithful as possible to the original model. 😉

(Like Isabella's hair, i use MiscHairstyle, and Looks Menu Customization Compendium for somes tattoos and makeup)
