will there be an update for the new version of the game and F4SE, because i am getting an error that the IneedThatFunction.dll is being diabled because it needs updated.

 

AFF, Buffout and Looksmenu still need to be updated for the AE version of the game., so it might not happen till these mods are updated😊

Hey JB , no rush ofc but I was wondering if you had a timeline for the next update ? Will it be focused on Nora or Norita ?

IneedThatFunction.dll is old-gen only, it is supposed to be integrated into Papyrus Common Library but I guess the author of that mod going to wait to see what happens in January.  Bethesda already indicated another patch "after the new year".

 

I heard reports on the latest AE version there are still scenarios where plugins are disabled.

An idea occurred to me the other day - so it's not really possible to apply the lip filler/tan morphs at the end of each route automatically, right? Something you could do, JB, is in the next update provide a preset to go with the already provided charli preset after these have been applied, in line with your idea of what she looks like at that stage. It's not really much of a fix, but I do know that at least I would appreciate having a more concrete baseline to work with.

Yeah, I'm also eager to continue this in january. 

 

This was a reference for creating Cherry. It doesn't fit the Fallout style, but it does fit the mod, hehe.

Hello,

 

I am trouble having the nuka ride animation to play, the actor either does nothing or it says nuka warning, I think there is something wrong with the nuka ride animation and aaf working together, I intalled all the hard requirement

Does your AAF work? Press Home key and see if you can manual play animations. If not, try the guide and try to follow as closely as possible with the load order.

I took the liberty of reshaping Isabella's face, cause her nose was quite squashed. 😢 I made her look more seductive, while still maintaining the vanilla vibe.

Damn so much to catch-up on and a small update, iv not been here in a while life got busy for me for the last month or so. Hope everyone had great holidays this season, im going to hop back in a start a new character with my favourite mod (this one) had to reinstall fallout again and downgrade it to 1.10.163 luckily I had a backup of the last time I played so it was quite easy

I am having some problems with Vadim. During the first part of the quest I also got his normal game quest about the diamond city radio guy. Which I finished. And now when I talk to him, I only ever get his normal greetings thanking me about doing that quest. The mod greetings never shows up, no matter how often I try.

 

I tried the suggestion earlier in the thread to use

Type SetStage _NukaRide_VisitingVadim 20

 

That did start the quest for the pole dance. But I couldn't get the payment, still only getting the normal game greetings when I talk to him.

Nm... I didn't wear the correct clothes when asking to get paid. But even with the correct clothes. I couldn't trigger dance scene again after 12 hours wait. Now the quest doesn't start at all.

 

If I remember correctly. This quest said "dance... 5?... times to unlock... some base game quest?". I don't mind missing out on the repeatable dance scene. But what is locked behind this again? And how can I still unlock that?

Another small issue I ran into. While walking the dog, Music asked me to go to the safari park. But I was in the middle of the dog walk so I thought I decline and do that later. But it seems once you decline, there isn't any option to talk about that again. By the time I remembered to talk to her again, after the quest for Cage, she didn't have any dialogue about it. And I don't have any good saves to go back to. And if I did, that would be going back like 3 hours.

 

Also. Music keeps her "can I visit your father now" dialogue. It's a bit confusing, is that supposed to be a repeatable quest?

And a little balancing issue I had. You get a dancing pole to keep your self esteem up. But a mission like getting the vault girls with Cage, can easily tank your self esteem multiple ranks. Getting that back to a level where it doesn't hugely hurt your stats, can take a long time. Which is a bit boring and pointless. Once you've seen the dance 10 times, it's just, click pole and watch youtube for 2 minutes x15.

 

When people use the dancing pole, that is an obvious choice to want to build up esteem. Making that a half hour grind after one particular brutal mission doesn't feel like good.

ok i have run into a weird issue

 

due to various reasons i had not done a serious NR run since 6.86

 

playing through 6.93g (after 6.86 i have copies of 6.91i and 6.91j) and i ran into an issue that i did not realize was there for a bit.

 

Dixie and Evan (and possibly more) are just missing.  cannot interact with them in any way without using console.

if i use the console to move to thier location they are not there .... nothing visible. cannot click on them in console (but prid refid works).

console commands do not make them visible.  have tried the disable, enable combo, tried recycleactor and resurrect commands. 

those do nothing.  openactorcontainer 1 console command will let me take or leave stuff, but if i try to have them equip anything instant ctd.

trying to use slm on them also does instant ctd.

 

so i rolled back trying 6.91i and 6.91j and same thing, but rolling back to 6.86 they are there like normal.

 

checked for mod conflicts useing FO4Edit and no mods touch Evan according to it, while Dixie is touched by mods (Prettier NPC bosses, and NR)
Nisha is also touched by the same mods as Dixie but is there and (as far as i can tell) works just fine.

 

knowing my luck i have found some weird edge case.

 

i have attached my modlist/plugin/loadorder files (i use MO2) in case someone else has hit this and knows a fix.

Hi JB, I hope you had a very merry christmas! I was just curious, and this might be a long shot, but, I am not currently playing through nuka ride (at least not yet) on this save, and am testing some other things I have installed. that said, I was wondering, is there a way to get the braces on the teeth effect without triggering that part of the norita quest? I just think they look cute on my player character. there doesn't seem to be any way to mess with the teeth in looks menu that I can find, no problem if it isn't possible, I just couldn't think of anywhere else to ask, and I can't find a mod that adds them seperately. thank you for your time.

Maybe drop all the nukaride stuff down to very last in your load order i have all the animation stuff sitting just bellow my body mods then clothes then nukaride,think about creating a separate profile with only the mods required usually your save would still work

Nuka Ride is already very near the end of load order (only things after it are AAF and Animations, patches to those, Bodyslide output, and FO4SE ini files)

 

tried a new game (from main menu) with only bugfixes (Baka memory fixes type) FG, buffout, Looksmenu, and what those required. nothing else yet (not even AAF).

exited the vault, entered the vault, saved exited to desktop, put in Nuka Ride (and its requirements).  loaded that game and waited out the notifications.

tried to use player.moveto 0605b06d (Evan) and player.moveto 06024afe (Dixie) and same results.  they are just not there.  Duke (eyebot) does show up to start NR.

 

was not surprised at that result as with  NR 6.86 Evan and Dixie are there.

 

i will just wait for next version (i guess) and try again then. 

i am just very wary of playing through 20+ hours till i hit the quest Dixie is part of to see if she will appear then.

Might be a problem for JB ,not even dead so that is a weird one from i read here most of the none existing npc's show up dead when you moveto but the duke thing means the mod hasn't loaded right,Dixie and Evan could be clones JB made so they won't exist if the mod hasn't fired

Looking at your load order, I wonder if you are experiencing issues with the number of archives.

Fallout 4 has a limit to the number of archives you have, any more and the game will still load, but some archives will not loaded properly.

 

If your not aware of it there is an excellent tool called Collective Modding Toolkit, that will analyze your archives, your .dll files, loose files and greatly highlight any version mismatches with Fallout 4 releases.  https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/87907

 

For managing archives I use Cathedral Assets Optimizer from SkyrimSE Nexus (the version is the 5.something one)

You can configure it to load all files into one archive, for settings don't use Separate Archives or Compression.

Any mods you have with small archives can be loaded as loose files to decrease archive count.

 

If you're already aware of the Toolkit, forget I said anything.

Although the way I manage load order, I would load your important quest style mods a lot lower, with Nuka Ride dead last.
