Good to know, thanks. I chose that clib because it was easy to support multiple FO4 versions (enable options in cmake)

I asked the author, and he will not add support for AE until things get settled down (no more game updates), so i'll have to do it myself or just recompile the plugin using AE clib for that specific function.

I need help, my character is stuck in a scene. Spoilers for the Norita path.

My character is stuck with no dialogue. I got to the scene where Clint and Ryder have the character in handcuffs and Ryder goes off to fight The Overboss, leaving Clint. Had my character float in the air, Clint basically saying I am the chosen one, and then the dialogue stopped. It's just Clint standing in front of me and my character levitating. If I break the cinematic veiw by moving the cursor to the side enough and look at Clint there's no dialogue options. Any idea on fixes? Or if not, the console commands to move it to the next stage in the scene? Thanks.

 

Tried using save funclist 1 on console to get the quest ID, but it says "can't save right now".

It happened to me once and unfortunately I had to reload to the previous point. But it's so rare that I can't reproduce it. A golden rule is to never break special dialogue cameras during dialogues.

 

So, have you reloaded your save? Does it always result in the same thing? Do you have any mods that affect dialogues? Like Player Comments.

My Radio starts naturally as part of a quest chain. There is no way to force it to start the way you want.

I've reloaded 5 times, same result. I'm getting another bug where Ryder won't get into the power armour unless I save and reload(he just walks against the armour), but that's not too much hassel. Every time there's a small explosion after Clint speaks and then no more dialogue pops up, just stuck there floating in the cinematic veiw.

 

Typing SQV _NR_Steel just comes up with:

 

Item 'NR_Steel' not found for parameter quest

 

Only dialogue mod I have is Full Dialogue Interface

OK, Oswald must go to the rescue, but something killed him. Oswald is marked as essential, so he shouldn't die. 

 

 

 

This could be due to several things.

 

For example, a mod that changes Oswald's appearance.

One of those hardcore mods that makes everyone killable. 

 

 I can give you setstages, but the mod is broken already and there will be more problems. 

 

The only thing I can think of is to find Oswald (use console commands, google it) and resurrect him. But if you have a problematic mod, then you're not solving the root of the problem.

I tried using the ressurection command, didn't work. Then I teleported him into the room, still didn't trigger anything. Then I set stages ahead until it released me from the cuffs. The quest told me to talk to him, but he's totally unresponsive. I guess it's screwed. I've no idea what mod changed him, I've nothing that makes NPCs killable, but he's wearing normal clothes not his black suit and top hat. I've no idea what mod I've got that's causing it. 

 

I guess my save is screwed, but thanks for your help, it's good that you're always around responding to feedback and helping people out.

Nah, it can be saved. I've been checkin it and there shouldn't be problems, although if Oswald died out there, being essential, I don't know what awaits the others xD

 

Load a save before the kidnapping, preferably when you're facing the injured Larsen.

 

Go to Oswald.

Revive Oswald.

Now you have to reset the quest.

Weirdly, I had a save just as I walked out on Larsen, so loaded that. I teleported myself to Oswals using console... and the bugger was still alive. So I just did what you said, stop and restarted the quest, set it to 410 and it just worked perfectly this time.

Yes that would be nice,could they be linked to the stars or trophies with a appropriate little perk?,some of the stars could be charisma related ,one thing I would like is in Nora's as you progress and you continue to get the deals for the overboss the gangs should start laying off in the threatening chat ,it's hard to take after you just got Nisha Galaxy world and her gang is still sniping you with their chat makes me want to grab my FAL and kill those ungrateful pricks

I noticed the “Porn Star” perk, and it's not really a perk per se. It's more like a global, like being a “High School Beauty Queen,” where you get paid more at the strip club. Or having the Overboss's mark on the butt, which shortens some of the dialogues.

 

I'm terrible with perks, but I'll think about it. When I saw those formulas, I almost left the page. 😆

You might not notice it riight away, but the disciples no longer say the most offensive lines when you win “Head for Business.” 

 

But now that I think about it, the condition needs to be improved. Because during the quest, you go to the park where Nisha is, and they continue to insult you because the quest is not yet complete. It's after the fireworks that the offensive dialogue stops.

Indeed, you are missing the Easy Girls textures. And probably from TRS. Double-check that you have that installed properly or reinstall the mod. It sounds to me like you only downloaded the bodyslide files.

 

Now... those jeans are from the Easy Girl mod. Not mine. But if they appear purple, they will also appear purple in my mod.

 

Those mods literally come with textures included, so I don't know what you did. I don't remember if it was you who had the load order all messed up, and I had been warned that you (or the person with the messed up LO) were converting all the plugins to esl or something like that.
