mkprovince Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Shingeki Kyoujin Chuugakou is such a damn good comic relief this season. I have to hold my laugh in my guts that I nearly sprained my stomach muscles.
thingwhatsqueaks Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Are there two shows with a black haired protagonist and a pink haired girl? Because I can't distinguish between both of them. You mean airing this season, right? In which case the answer is yes. One is called Gakusen Toshi Asterisk and is basically what would happen if A Certain Scientific Railgun and Mahouka Kouhou no Rettousei mated and gave birth to a slightly deformed child. The other is Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry and it seems like what you'd get if you took Gakusen Toshi Asterisk and ran it through a fax machine a couple of times (same thing but worse quality). Even more confusing is that they appear to air on the same day.

Yeah but despite all that they don't seem to be that bad and so far don't have that much fan service in them unlike shows like Shinmai and Valkyrie Drive that have heavy fan service in the first episode most ESPECIALLY Valkyrie Drive.

Obviously, for most many some shows, one episode is too little to make a solid call with regards to quality. That said Asterisk seemed to be leaning on cliches and tropes a little less heavily than Cavalry. I also actually find watching the censored version of Shimai amusing as the little censored signs amuse me.
Angrybird Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 The pacing in the first ep of One-Punch Man felt a bit off, I guess it didn't translate well from manga to anime, the second however felt great.
mkprovince Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Concrete Revolution is quite a good show though you might get a bit confused with how it switches back and forth between the past and the present.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 OK am I the only one who Finds this completely implausible!?
ds64 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 OK am I the only one who Finds this completely implausible!? It's remind me of this...
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 OK am I the only one who Finds this completely implausible!? Nah, it's just another example wacky interns being too lazy to be creative so they have to resort to portraying characters entirely the same to save time and prevent effort. I mean, that's probably why hardly anyone can compare anyone from Dragon Ball anymore. No they really are related it's in one of the games that the show is based off of but in the Anime Yuzuha was frail and she didn't look healthy enough to have sex let alone bare a child ESPECIALLY when you consider that in the anime they were heavily pushing Hakuoro towards Eruru.

The first season really left a huge plot hole regarding that mother and daughter relationship since they didn't show a baby was actually born (which killed off the mother as a result). Probably didn't think there would be a sequel... Just got the game yesterday and damn, Haku's even more hilarious in the game than the anime's portrayal; like two fold more stupid! Also, it's hinted that Kuon is actually of demigod category (like Kamyu's divine half Mutsumi), what with the father being Hakuoro (a divine that can grant wishes though at a steep price to pay later). Probably his divinity has something to do with how the daughter looked. Also, there's that explanation that no matter which child is born, they will always take after the mother's race.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I dropped Owarimonogatari due to it being a bit too dialog-heavy for me. One Punch Man is great so far and funny as hell. I've also been checking out Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, and the second seasons of Noragami and Shinmai Maou no Testament. That's about it for me this fall season. If you like Shinmai you should check out Valkyrie Drive.
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I recently watched the Kyoukai no kanata Movie and it seems like the last 5 minutes or so of the movie after the credits is setting up the plot for a new season or at the very least that's what I got from watching it.
mkprovince Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Okay... I thought Kowabon was scary for this season until I got my hands on Kagewani...
mkprovince Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Just finished playing Utawarerumono : Itsuwari no Kamen (PSV). Suddenly, I don't feel like watching the anime to the end anymore... Things went south at the very end. Nobody's happy and damn... FUCK!! THAT!! ENDING!!
Kpnut Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Watching K Yeah I like the colours in it as well.
Angrybird Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Watching K Yeah I like the colours in it as well. The music doesn't fit sometimes but it drops at the right time too, if anything they have style right. Just finished playing Utawarerumono : Itsuwari no Kamen (PSV). Suddenly, I don't feel like watching the anime to the end anymore... Things went south at the very end. Nobody's happy and damn... FUCK!! THAT!! ENDING!! Doesn't it have alternate good endings?
mkprovince Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Just finished playing Utawarerumono : Itsuwari no Kamen (PSV). Suddenly, I don't feel like watching the anime to the end anymore... Things went south at the very end. Nobody's happy and damn... FUCK!! THAT!! ENDING!! Doesn't it have alternate good endings? As far as I can tell from the story... it isn't even half finished! Plot holes the size of the moon are left here and there. Not to mention that everybody got broken in a way or two. Remember the scene where Ice Man went freaking nuts when he found out that his wife got dissected? His biological daughter very nearly reenact that scene when her own transformation started because she was led to believe of a certain lie... A lie that is needed to cover a bigger lie so to give the people hope as the greatest kingdom went up in flames because the emperor died and every single one, minus a select few, of those scheming generals want to have a larger piece of the pie (or just outright want to have the entire pie!). It's heartbreaking to see Kuon crying in Oboro's arms in the end. Every other team members were badly shaken too but it's even worse as we hear the lying person's thought when looking at Kuon leaving, her expression blank. There were many deaths in the first game/anime but those were mostly nobodies and those that have it coming but there were a few memorable ones. This time, we are going to see just how bad it's going to be for the good guys. Many of the key members are missing in the end and the biggest civil war is going to happen real soon but the game just cut short right there! AARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH! Even the princess lost her voice because she was fed poison by someone who took the opportunity of the emperor's death to possibly try to usurp the throne or to just get her away from court. She was saved but greatly weakened and her throat has suffered substantial damage that her voice just may never recover. There's just too many things left hanging that it's needing a damn sequel and quick or Aquaplus is going to go up in flames. I think there's a good chance that they are trying to bring back Hakuoro in the end as he's the very cause of everything that is. Let's just say that the plot this time actually focuses on the other side of the fence. We will be looking from the perspective of the surviving scientists! Though not directly related to the dismay Ice Man went through but there's a healthy chance that Haku might be torn from limb to limb if the two meet. Yes, Haku's actually one of the two remaining scientists who still have their humanity intact. It's possible that it's because he was already in cold sleep when the whole thing happened or maybe because he had received an altered medication based on the studies on Ice Man. The other is his elder brother, the one who later became the emperor for several hundred years because he managed to expand his life through data learned from studying Ice Man. However, we never really got all the dirt out on their background as we know that Haku's regained his memories but never explained to the gamers just what he had remembered and the emperor got assassinated off screen. You would even feel bad for the emperor of what he did to have a family... Which is turn makes me wonder of the possibility of the Tatari that Haku met at the beginning just may have been his sister-in-law or his niece! I don't think the twenty plus episodes will be enough to give us a closure to the cluster fuck that the game brought us and I'm wondering just how faithful the anime will be to the game at this point. Well, I've braved myself to watch ep 03 and it's a pretty good retelling of the story for now. I just might have to drop this when the mysterious old man started appearing. That's the cue that things are going to get real bad.

ds64 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I just realized that there is different part of gundam barbatos in opening 2nd and 3rd episode (getting upgrade), what a way to create an opening.

They did that with Gundam Age's openings. For Arc one they showed the Age-1's three forms before they were even shown in the show and they did the same with the Age-2's two forms in the second arc.
Nasseliten Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Watching K Yea, I heard many good things about the series, one guy even wrote it was a masterpiece so I had my hopes up. Meh..

It looks pretty and that's pretty much it, the story is passable. I'm very picky when it comes to music during combat and such, It can make or break an anime for me. In this case it breaks it. (Not sure if i'm messing up the names here but...) The part of the story where Kuroh Yatogami chases Yashiro Isana to kill him and they start to get hungry so they sit down to eat instead. If I'm watching a pure comedy yeah sure. If not.....

Prime examples of this would be anime like Air Gear or Gants, even Tokyo Ghoul doesn't really follow the Source material. Fortunately, most of the story line in Utawarerumono: InK are just... well, idiocy on Haku's part and how he spent his days looking around town after being duped into forced labor. The only problem that would arise for the Itsuwari no Kamen's continuity is that the first anime actually threw away the scene that Kuon was born then. Now, I'm curious as how they would explain... Okay, screw that! The party members didn't even know of her background in the game. Guess they'll just try to go with that in the anime though those who have only watched the first anime would just gawk at the awkwardness. There's one recent anime that shouldn't worry about running out of ideas too soon... I'm looking at you, Heavy Object! Three episodes per arc and one arc is actually one chapter in the LN with three chapters per book while there's about ten books out in the market. Not too sure about which chapter they're ending the anime but I would guess they're probably going up until book 3 since we did see Heivia's yandere fiancee in the OP and another pair of fake boobs in there... so it's probably not going to be the standard 12 ep season. Which means I can probably just sit back and wait for the scene where Qwenthur sexually molested his superior in front of her fiancee to happen. *grin*
