JohnConquest12 Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 Hey just wondering if it would be safe to have this and Practical Defeat at the same time while having the acheron plugins installed. Also would there be problems if i turn off the essential flag? I have Player Death Aftermath installed too and I basically HAVE to die in order for that mod to work

For example: Mod X handles Bleeout (disable Bleedout Defeat in Naked Defeat) Naked Defeat handles Critical Defeat (OnHit) ---> no other mod should do this to prevent double starts Basically I use Naked Defeat myself exclusively with Critical Hit (OnHit) triggers and never enter bleedout and its perfectly fine. The Essential Flag is for you to decide. I have no knowlegde of the implications yet but usually other defeat mods need the essential Flag to be on so you need to experiment yourself. Naked Defaet needs the Essential Flag ON for its Bleedout Scenario to work, for nothing else. I hope that helps. also feel free to report back your findings.

It's in active daily development, has been heavily modernized, and the people working on it seem to be open to ensuring compatibility with a variety of mods so long as those mods properly utilize the P+ API. SLAL has also been superseded by SLSB, which may address whatever issues you have with SLAL. I understand you're still on LE but the switch may make it easier for you to accomplish your goals with this mod. I m just not a big fan of a major framework like Sexlab not beeing developed with Backwards compatibility in mind. I think thats just bad for the modding scene. It also just creates more work for me and kind of forces me to adapt, which is not a good thing, no matter what the benefits are. On the other hand: I have a theory on why SexlabP+ does not work well with Naked Defeat, but researching that is hard without a SE install, which then circles back to...: SexlabP+ should have 100% backwards compatibility. 1
bevo67 Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 (edited) Hi Nymra - i'm really enjoy 5.0 and especially the Acheron bridge. Q: the new ND ver triggers a defeat when I use "combat feeding" as a vampire. Combat feeding is an animation/attack that is player triggered during combat - when an enemy is staggered (usually by a shield bash) the vampire can get a quick bite in that reduces enemy stamina and replenishes vampire health. I think ND thinks its a defeat scenario since combat ends for a moment as the vampire feeding animation plays. I know you can't account for every possible mod out there but I'm wondering if you know a setting in ND that can be used as a workaround. I'm thinking I could reduce ND's defeat probability (ie - enemy wants to plays with you more) and just role play that using combat feed has a small possibility to cause defeat? Thanks! Ok, so I basically just disabled the stagger and bleedout stuff and made it only where it will only start if I surrender just so there are no problems between the two. Each of the mods comes with their own surrender key so I just mapped them differently(K for ND, L for PD). Seems like both mods work fine so far with this method. I haven't tried it with Player Death Aftermath yet, but you think it'll be a problem since this mod comes with its own post death outcomes?
Cheryl Oh Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 Since installing the latest version, when I have sex with nonhumans, the nonhumans do not move during sex, even though I am.

Just curious. Death Aftermath I think triggers only on Bleedout so... Its this: 1. OnBleedout 2. OnHit 3. OnHotkey if you prevent mods from triggering on the same of these 3 you are fine (and yes, two different Hotkeys also work) If there are other Defeat mods in active development on Skyrim SE I will also try making patches after communicating with the mod author. But only when I have an SE install.

Cheryl Oh Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 I don't run SexlabP+ and yes, it happens both within and without of Naked Defeat.

I m not sure if I can follow. Naked Defeat triggers when YOU attack an NPC? There is no possible variant of Naked Defeat that I can think of that triggers this... What you could do to help me check: - get into combat and trigger this scenario, ideally only once. let it play out and wait for a time after it, (10-20 seconds after the animation is finished) and get away from the enemies (try not to be defeate "regularly") and then send me a papyurs0.log I noticed Skyrim NPC get passive when the PC is in an animation, so I think this is not a Naked Defeat problem (I have that problem with animations triggered by Sexlab Disparity for exmaple).

Yeah no pressure. For what it's worth, in my load order ND 5.00 seems to work fine with P+ in 99% of cases as of the latest Discord P+ release (2.13.4). Prior to that, I had the same experience with ND 4.99 and P+ 2.13.3. The only issues I've seen lately were with the bukkake scenario while tied up (it always fails to fire) and the freecam character floating problem which is fixed by ND's VR/P+ toggle. That said, I know others are having more significant issues between the two so I'm not sure where the breakdown is. Regardless, do what you feel is best. This is the best defeat mod on LL imo :]
Corsain Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 I don't know if this was asked directly but I saw a post in here that said you can now change the aggressor to only be females. But loading in the new update and patch I don't see that option in the MCM. is it already in the mod and i just missed it?

Plus difficulty can be set for normal defeat and slavery seperatly. From Naked Defeats side there should be always a "Get Up From Bleedout" even when no actors are found. But I still need to receive the event. does this happen alot? YOu could also try Debug Wheel Unstuck Player. Seems like an mcm glitch. After game restart I can choose options now. I will test more with logs enabled to see if bleedout stuckness is common. So far I got this with vampires and with rieklings. Bandits and giants are ok with my limited testing attempts. 1

Talesien Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Disabling Argonian and Khajits under creature types appears not to work anymore (at least for Khajits). There were other potential rapers in range too.

Yes - Naked Defeat triggers when I attack. After staggering and then successfully biting the enemy for his/her blood (I'm a vampire you see).. after the bite animation ends, ND goes into the defeat scenario. I will take a video of this. Nymra Posted February 3, 2025 Author Posted February 3, 2025 I heard somewhere that Humans in SexlabP+ now also have a Racekey, has someone more info on that? I need the String name of that racekey and I could add a check for that. Might be one of the things that could increase compatibility with SLP+, thx
Nymra Posted February 3, 2025 Author Posted February 3, 2025 (edited) Naked Defeat 5.01 Hotfix INSTALLATION: Requires 5.00 FULL Overwrite all (contains only 2 scripts) No FNIS or other update routine required. FIXES: - fixed non-critical display bug "DID NOT WORK" - fixed some beast races not beeing sorted out when forbidden. thx @Talesien IMPROVED: Enemies that hit the player in combat are no longer scanned for distance. This should reduce the "No Enemies nearby" message for ppl with low search radius. This was meant to be in 5.00 I just forgot to add one line of code. It put it on the list for the next update since it is a bit more work to do it.
