I need a bit more info, no idea what is going on.

 

1. Who are you fighting with? Somehow you get like 200 hits during the script but it seems there is no valid enemy that hits you (the script cannot get the type).

If I knew who or what is hitting you, I could figure out what is going on.

 

2. can you check in Naked Defeats MCM System I think upper right corner is DHLP Status. Can you check during combat if it is true or false?

Try this Hotfix and report back if it helps, ideally in the same situation. thx. 

And please still answer my previous questions. Just curious why my scripts cannot get an Enemy Type.

This hotfix should finally solve this.

 

 

NAKED DEFEAT 5.05 HOTFIX 

 

Needs 5.00 FULL overwrites all other Hotfix

- No FNIS required

- No Mod Restart required

- can be used on running game

- MAKE SURE NAKED DEFEAT IS NOT RUNNING WHILE UPDATING 

 

- Followers that are distance 10000 or more are not used (if you use "Wait here" followers could still be drawn by Naked Defeat")
- TEST HearbeatSound
- ADD MCM TOGGLE FOR PUBLIC PUNISHMENT SOUNDS
- Fixed Bug that used only Stockade for Crime Punishment in NymBETA
- Fixed some oddities with robbery gold (might have been harmless, dunno)
- Fixed Issue where Escape Difficulty after "Captors want more" was too high.
- Improved the Followerquest to prevent non-Humans from beeing used as Followers
- Added additional checks for certrain scenarios to further reduce "No Actors Found" Issues.

6-Pamas Prison Alternative - looked nice and really wanted to use it but it conflicts with Go To Bed and Defeat mods set on health threshold knockdowns.  Supposedly can adjust for compatibility.  I could not get the Go to Bed to work with it.  Events in PA are triggered upon sleeping and the GTB trigger overrides apparently.  NOT compatible are DD and "anything that Depends on DD".   Currently testing with a semi-modified Sexlab Jail Rape.  Never tried it but trying to add to the jail experience something besides sleep and release.

 

Sorry but Prison Overhaul being incompatible with DD is incorrect. Prison overhaul as such has no problems with DD or any CD. It just makes no attempt to take into account any devices the char might be wearing (or receiving during the prison stay). The onus for that is on the player.

Which version?
The latest thread from Anubs I can find is from April 27, 2023


While n subscribestar I see the latest version is: 

01. 2025 Packs

Just a bit sad since I dont mind giving some money to other creators... I just tend to call alot of animations from those packs and now I have to check if it is actually there first. And I dunno if I can check well for versions of SLAL packs... sigh.

Hello.

 

Have been trying to get this working but for the life of me I cannot figure out where I've gone wrong with it. I have all the hard requirements installed and working correctly, but when I go to install the ND mod, the mod installs fine, run FNIS and it registers the mod there, then I get in game and the MCM menu never shows up.

 

Any idea what might be causing this?

not a problem related to this mod. just something with your install/modlist, number of mods etc. 
use google or maybe another user has an idea.

I believe that is the one I have. AnubSLAL022023SSELLver.7z   

 

I did a test of the new Public Punishment.  These are simply FYI for you.  First is entering Windhelm.  Walking slow so it scanned quite a bit.  The 2nd is inside Windhelm all around the market and inside a store.  I did have a device inside me from DD if that has any impact.  I took a screenshot of the settings.  These are the default settings which triggered so quickly for me before.  I did get notifications I was seen by civilians and by guards and a few times showed a 1 on the display.  I can't tell what is triggering as the display shows /// marks instead of script.  Rarely see the full script and I'm sure it is my display settings somehow.  My PC was full of the creamy and can't expell with the device so I'm not complaining.

I'm sorry.  I was reading the mod page.  Didn't realize why it said that but thank you.  If I can figure out Go To Bed may try it again.  🤗

In the log everything looks fine. 
you have low settings (low chances), so it is not unlikely that your exposure is never rising.

 

", , , ," means there is no exposure change, none of the weights was rolled.

 

if you are naked and roll below 15, you would see "Public Exposure Change 1: Reason: Naked, , , " 


I m currently writing a PDF guide for Public Punishment. But at least in your log everything works as intended. 
If you want the scenario to happen more often, increase scan frequency (5 secs) and increase the weights. 

If you are naked with your settings it is not unlikely to be able to walk through the whole citiy without getting punished. 

 

And ofc as long as your character behaves correctly, the scenario will never trigger since you dont get exposure.

Any help is appreciated. I know it's gotta be something stupid with my install or load order, I just cant put my finger on what. I've been digging through this thread and google for 2 days now trying to find anything related to my issue but I'm just going in circles.

 

It would be my luck that the one mod I really wanna get working wont load, but everything else loads right up.

Glad to hear.  I will adjust the settings and learn.  FYI - did find a 2025 Anub SLAL.  It is paywalled.

Google Fu should be a primary skill for mod users :P
But it can also take up time, no doubt...

Funny enough sometimes ChatGPT has a good answer... SOMEtimes...

 

Things you can try:

- Put Naked Defeat ESP towards the end of your loaded ESPs.

- make sure you have the correct version of all mods required, including basics like SkyUI, SKSE, PowerOFThree Script Extender etc.

- get a papyrus.0.log and upload it here when the MCM not showing. maybe I can see something suspicious.

- WAIT for some minutes or leave the loaded game open for 10 mins and go afk and then come back

- save and reload some times

- TEST if the MCM is also not showing up on a new game 

- make sure you do not have TOO MANY LOADED ESP (for LE version it was 255, I dont know what the limit is for Special Edition or how to check).

- Use a Mod Organizer (Ideally Mod Organizer 2, any other is basically useless trash... :P, but such thing should be last resort, changing Mod Organizers can be tiring work) 

For me similar issue mostly got solved by waiting. But afaik it can have different reasons why the MCM is not showing

Yeah I will get a papyrus log together and post it tomorrow. I've tried most of these before posting here to no avail unfortunately. Trying desperately to avoid that last option. But if I have to, I have to.

you could remove some 10 mods (with ESP files) that have no dependencies and see if that helps. Just to know a general direction of problems.

 

do you use any mod manager at all?

Vortex, unfortunately. ( I realize I should have used MO2 but Ive spent a long time away from modding and yeah.... rookie move.)

 

I dont have all that many mods loaded right now outside of SL and its add ons but I will trim what I can and see what happens.

can be ignored, at least the message. The thing is that another mod is indeed setting the player to be "not essential" which could cause issues when using Naked Defeats Bleedout Feature. You can still try and maybe its all ok. The message was for testing purposes. 
forgot to remove that it AGAIN it seems...  

It should trigger on Cell Load (when you move from one cell to another). 

Does the MCM load?

Sorry for the late reply.
I believe I was at Halted Stream Camp fighting a group of bandits and 2 of them were zapping me with Spark. I don't have any enemy mods installed so everything should be vanilla enemies.

ah, ok. guessed it might be a stream magic spell. Some spells I cannot scan for the caster... all values return none... really bad game design, but ofc its the worst game ever programmed that has to be the most mod friendly, haha :D
if you can, try to do the same fight again with the patch.

You can hit K when you find the right spot. Works in my game. Does it not work for you?

UPDATE: 

 

I disabled Fast Travel.  Saved, exited the game and reloaded.  Fast travel still not working.  Traveled on foot to another location.  1 hour in game time.  Tested going through the fast travel ritual with the feature disabled.  Fast Travel ritual worked even when disabled.  Still no Fast Travel but sharing it worked while disabled in the MCM.  2nd log attached.  It's ok.  I can use carriages.  Simon Magus mods in game and they have always worked before.  May consider disabling survival mod which is a bearable but a pain sometimes.

 

Tested the Fast Travel.  I use this mod in my game which requires having an item in your inventory to fast travel.  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/92220

 

In the prior ND version, this mod would override the fast travel restriction but the ritual worked and then I used this mod to fast travel.  I'm on survival mode.  I noticed I could not fast travel and I had the Fast Travel restriction on.  Went through the ritual and I still could not fast travel.  I noticed a shocking animation after the ritual.  Probably the timer for fast travel but I still could not fast travel.  Just some information.  I will disable and test next.

Ya it was not... but looks like its a me problem, reverted to older save and redid the update seems ok now

I have enabled creatures and werewolves in creature library, but everytime i surrender to them i get message surrendered to humans and about scene being abort.
