Even I was very confused at the beginning (and in parts still are :D) Naked Defeat was never meant to be another DD mod, in the contrary. But if I can satisfy the need of random DD slapping on Player I will gladly try my best I prefer the outfits that are predesigned because I like a coherent style that is not easily achieved with randomness. The only reason why I use DDe as soft dependency is, because I can "command" DD-Devices with it via ModEvents. DD Framework itself is just intrusive, restrictive not only in the gameplay but also into other mods. I will not tolerate that a mod can fuck my mod up and the only solution is making DD framework a hard dependency,no, wont happen. If DD has global function or modevents in DD5.0 I will applaud, say thank you kindly and work with them (so in case I missed that, please enlighten me). Also, I dont care so much for adding devices but removing them reliably so my mod can work. because as previously mentioned, DD-Devices break my carefully selected idles, sex scenes, scenarios and furnitures. the irony in all that is, that even ZAP Devices (from ZAP Framework) make it impossible to completely disable player controls while in ZAP Furniture... I had to copy the ZAP items into Naked Defeat to make them work... (at least visually... I run the fitting poses via script). Long term I want to get rid of ZAP Framework too if that is possible in any realistic way or form. TLDR: DDFramework will never be a hard depenceny of Naked Defeat and still I try to make DDs "manageable" with Naked Defeat.

Each furniture can define its own rules about worn devices too, considering the variety of furnitures is only limited by imagination. I can understand supporting ZAP still may be trickier. It is a DD mod and I dont like DD gameplay and design philosophy. I will still make its animations and furnitures appear in Naked Defeat as a soft dependency. I basically do something similar tho, just with another design and gameplay philosophy in mind.

The only thing that bugs me is, that it seems I can only call for a very generic device type I can not be very specific about it. But it seems that this way I can add a basic DD support that allows DD Removal without DDe/SUM requirement and also the Random "SlapMeInBonDDage" part at the end. thx for the update EDIT: while reading the function in detail, there seems to be a certain kind of specification possible. Personally, I would prefer DD to work a bit more like Toys. Like, if you got a key, it opens the device, period. No fuss, no hour long animation, no crappy RNG that makes you break 5 keys in a row... sounds like Naked Struggle would be the perfect mod for you, haha. funny enough, with the ModEvents that are now part of DD5 I can even integrate a basic version of this into naked defeat. Hotkey pressing (or most likely chosing it from my upcoming wheel menu) will then start a struggle scene suitable to the "heavy bonDDage" type and remove the heavy bonDDage at the end of it (animation length adjustable via MCM). Keys in inventory, knifes but also picklock skill and cumsoakedness will shorten the time required until removal (or increase success rate, since I will not fail to add the failchance for the real MaDDochists If you let the animation run, the character will continue removing devives (heavy bondage first, then blindfold, then gag, then all the rest) until you press the hotkey again or are out of devices, kind of reversal of my "animated equip" sequence from the latest patches. 1
Guest Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Just a small comment for users of Precision. Precision improves the collision area around objects including the player. I know this is a rather simple description but wanted to relate it to ND. When you have Precision set up and you are whipped in furniture/devices, the whipping causes the player to recoil on each strike. Actually see the body react heavily to the whipping. Unbelievably realistic how accurate it is. Watching my body and hair react on each hit is very immersive. Like a movie type punch in the face movement. Simply wonderful. Issue to be aware of with Precision and the whipping. The whipping can actually knock you loose from the furniture. Not off, just loose. Hands and feet are normally what you see that are out of alignement with the device. If this happens, once you are free, your movement can be bugged and will require a save and reload. Arms and legs won't work right and can even collide through the floor (rare). Even when you stand up, you can't walk, only float along with that constant collision sound as your feet drag along the floor. As I've not played without both of these mods active, I cannot say if users without Precision see any player impact from whipping. I simply love it and will keep both. I am aware there are mods on LL that make patches for Precision to stop it for certain mods or you can use the Precision MCM to stop the collision during an event. For me and this is an opinion, a save and reload is a small price to pay for the realism this provides during the whipping scenes. Took me till yesterday to figure out what caused this and my roommate never did find this out. I include this for you guys that know how to make patches and want to prevent this from happening. It appears it is possible but you give up the realism. Of course, I could be completely wrong and it's my grass mod or my new outfit mod that causes it. Forgive the inaccurate information if that is the case and blame it on hormones. I think that is what men do most of the time anyway. Or is that what we say? Just teasing. The game will fix it on it's own on occasion. An additional round of r.pe will fix it or other event. Generally if whipping is the last activity before you escape, you have a chance to encounter the bug. Later

Guest Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 (edited) For me, going down on all fours and being prompted to find a spot is the signal for defeat to proceed. After you find a spot, hit the hotkey "K" and the defeat should proceed. I'm sure you knew that. If you are stuck in the defeated pose, tried the console key to speed it up and if still in the defeated pose, post your papyrus log. Nymra should be able to diagnose. If this was me, I would try the hotkey commands to end the defeat segment. You could reload that save or keep going. When this happens early in game for me, I follow this procedure and then let myself get defeated to test the process. Resaver may show you if you have an unattached script as well. Something else was going on and didn't finish. Hope this helps.... Edit again: I didn't really answer your question. Depending on your mod list and script load, it should only take seconds after you go into the defeat pose. After around 5 seconds, hit the console key. It may take 3-5 seconds holding the console key and it should proceed. This happens to me if I am in a crowded location with many NPC's or creatures. Just more to process but that's my mod list. Just a few seconds later the defeat process started again as if it was another defeat event or starting bleedout from a defeat event. Suddently I was stuck. No controls and that weird sound in the background. I had entered bleedout again while in a defeated state in a poisoness gas area and I believe that is the second defeat. I ended a defeat process with the hotkeys and then one of the defeat processes proceeded normally after that. Never happened before. Poisoness gas area from a mod added dungeon and they kill quickly. In case you want to see the log, I attached it. If you ever see a problem with the log in general while looking at ND, I would appreciate you sharing it with me. Thank you. If I go above the 420 mods MCMs will go erratic or half show up on some of them. If any one knows of an all in one pretty mod that takes up few slots please post.

There are no odd trees, roads, floating grass, etc. Everything parallaxed, ENB, Lux lighting, thick tall grass, with dense unique forests, and Dyndolod so trees and grass visible to the horizon. And simply beautiful. 9 months of work and over 2000 mods. She doesn't agree but I think she enjoyed the modding challenge as much as the gameplay. Would I do it on my own? Probably not. This modlist requires a beast of a computer and I prefer the game play anyway. How she started may be what I would do. Improve all the textures in game - Skyking's retextures and his recommendations for example- 1 or 2 mods. That modlist I linked earlier has an LE version somewhere or you can use the latest AE version if appropriate. Explains how to take the baby steps to improving the looks of the game. Maybe replace the trees and the grass with an FPS friendly replacer. Should be enough. Everything gets a fresh coat of paint but nothing is replaced so no conflicts. Some or most of the retextures do not have an esp if you are on LE and the plugin limit is a concern. Just a reminder but the screenshot is an SE build. 1700 plugins or around there. I know this forum is for ND and discussion of that fantastic mod. I was just so happy last night so I posted the screenshot. I almost posted a screeny of my PC. Stripped nude, whipmarks, bruises, full tummy of the creamy white stuff and loving it. 10 defeats in a single dungeon playthrough. It was a mod added dungeon with max difficulty rating and very large. All Falmer or Dwemer. I really get into the flying falmer bugs during a defeat. 👌 Had to sleep in the middle of the dungeon it was so large. I didnt know it was level 25+ recommended. Didn't even realize it was mod added at first. But it was so much fun. (one of Hammet's dungeons) We all have our priorities for this wonderful game. For me it's sexy time #1, beautiful world #2, my PC with long flowing hair and sexy body of course, tall grass that would tickle my (you know) as I walk #3, and new faces on all the NPCs. There is more but I won't play without these. If ND didn't exist, I actually do not think I would play. I really mean that. I tested without ND active once. Disabled it and tried to see what it was like mentally to not have a safeguard. I literally pee'd my panties I was so scared. Two fights and the experiment was over. Forgot to offer, I used to have many XMPSE related crashes or they would spam my papyrus log dragging the game down. I have the new setup with a somewhat recent update to XMPSE - a light version T loaded for me. No crashes since and no papyrus spam that I can see related to XPMSE. If anyone is interesed. Modlist or something, who knows. There is a console command I use after I create my character. I let the MCM's load after the character build and when finished, save and exit Skyrim. Reload the game and some will activate but I don't trust they all do. Have over 100 mcms. I then enter this in the console (without quotation marks) "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1" This command prompts all the mcms to activate. Works for me every time. Did you try: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/67556? SkyUI has a limit of 127 MCM slots, if you go over that it becomes kinda random which ones show up and which ones don't. So that might be part of your problem. At just about 420 mods though, that would have to be an awful lot of mods with an MCM. My LO is well over 2k mods and I'm around 160 MCM's. Nymra Posted September 12, 2024 Author Posted September 12, 2024 almost got the Naked Loot feature ready for leaving the BETA.... last step is importing all saved outfits and weapons to a new save and that is almost done.... biggest junk of work ahead is writing a documentaion for the Loot System, lol sigh btw: anybody uses something else than: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 ---> equip Weapon alt + 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 ----> equip Outfit I set this as an option for Naked Defeat to use these hotkeys for saved weapons and outfits for ease of use (and I can drop AH Hotkeys and free a slot!) customizing the keys would be possible but hell of a headache. and if ppl want their own hotkeys there are mods like AH Hotkeys available, right?

They hotkeys will have an extra toggle, you will be able to use them with or without Naked Loot and they will unregister when toggled off. if I find time I might really make extra options for how to combine alt / ctrl with it, but that is future updates. currently Naked Loot is based around the idea of having your armor destroyed in combat all the time (or robbed by very powerful enemies), so you require a new set constantly. with only drop or unequip the Naked Loot feature is more or less meaningless. Its basically meant for a more combat oriented "SL survival" like playstyle. EDIT: other than that its just an easy way for me to transfer my outfits to a new game quickly... they are ragtag between many different ESPs so reassembling all 10 of them each time was very time consuming Edited September 12, 2024 by Nymra

I build the OnHit feature for myself to be more careful in combat even when at full health. every hit can be.... degrading
