Naked Defeat AE/SE

After pressing the defeat key, my character is stripped and a DD is placed on her, but after that the mod says it fails to find anyone, usually after it spawns in an animal or two. I maxed out the detection range, what could be causing this?

Sharing an incident.  I was adding an outfit through the ND MCM menu.  Somehow, one of the letters I typed to describe the armor was tied to a mod interface and it opened.  Should only open with the backspace key.  The menu will open mid game if needed.  I can't find the name but it allows you to set the location of weapons and items on the body and what will be displayed.  I closed it, finished adding the armor to ND and tried to close the MCM.  It would not close.  Has happened before when loading an armor but this time I saved a papyrus log.  Had to exit without saving.

not much I can do. 
mods should adjust their hotkeys in a way so that they do not fire when writing text (i.e. while in menues/console).
I had "Switft Potion" always fire its hotkeys when I wrote in console... really fucked up.


The author of the respective mod has to change that. I cannot account for such stuff sadly.

 

(I just edited the scripts of such mods myself when I really wanted them, but most of the time just did not bother and uninstalled the offenders...)

a multitude of things.
1. get me a papyrus log

2. try without DDs

3. see if you configured the MCM in a way that makes it impossible to find actors (allow no females, but have only females, allow no creatures but be defeated by creatures etc.)
also see if you have all relevant animations enabled in sexlab.

I decided debugging is priorirty 1 for the next patch, so I m working on a wheel menue that will try to cover as much as possible....

- reliably end Naked Defeat in every possible state (a bit more complex procedure than I thought....)
- debug bleedout/ragdoll/stuck situations (currently sadly when not defeated via nade the fix does freeze the playercontrols (little oversight of mine)
---> starting a sexlab scene like masturbation can fix this because SL enables the player controls afterwards)
- debug some camera bugs
- debug expressions/idles
- debug possible "bugged out" states by Naked Defeat (until hopefully no longer required). 

I did some more extreme testing outside of the way I usually play and I think I have more ideas now about what causes some bugs reported in the past months.

I followed the steps provided and its not producing a papyrus log- not sure why. How do I disable DD? do you want me to disable the entire DD mod or just it in this mod, and if just in this mod how? In the MCM I have every NPC type enabled .image.png.8acf316212b564a3714e7b83e462b632.png Thats what my Skyrim SE folder looks like, Im on AE 1.61170

Your Papyrus logs will be in [User]/Documents/MyGames/Skyrim Special Edition/Logs (or should be if it was installed correctly/via mod manager).

 

I had plenty of issues with ND hvaing trouble finding actors with SexLab P+ - not using that by chance are you?

Yessir I am, it's tragic how many mods have given me problems because of a different mod that's supposed to fix things.

That's probably your issue (were you getting errors like "Race not found" or something like that?). As much as P+ devs seem to make it out to be in a good place (in my limited browsing), it's still very much in development. Eventually it'll probably be pretty good, or if you're using basic SL stuff, but I just don't think it's ready for primetime yet, promising though it seems.

there is no good place in skyrim. 

In general, complex mods like Naked Defeat will show issues and problems faster than other mods, since they rely on more different stuff than most. 

I have one particular issue with Sexlab P+ that I can solve from my side tho (RaceKey for humans) and I will try to make a compatibility fix for that at some point. Its just part of a very important and integral part of naked defeat and changing that requires lots of time.

I have used slavers of skyrim in the past. Was captured and sold a bunch of times. It does have a few hiccups. Uninstalled during current play through because of mod limit. I would wait for the re-write if that is ever completed.

NEW: SLAVE COLLARS

Now will autoequip ZAP collars during defeat (DD compatibility is WIP).

 

Is there a way to lock these collars or make them hard to remove.

I have been leaving them on my characters as a role playing purpose till I find a forge.

Not by any simple means I know of, ZAP items are all readily removable.

both ZAP and DD items break mod animations. DD items sometimes work but I have to check with DD5. 

With the "new" mod events of the DD framework I might be able to add some toggles so that your collar and other items are from DD instead. 
Sooo, look out for a "DD" heavy update Log in the future updates of Naked Defeat (I will put it in the title) and you might get what you ask for, one way or another.

So P+ is incompatible with Naked defeat for the foreseeable future?

Honestly I love all the work you've done on this, however, I wasn't able to see a way to have public punishment enabled with sneaking and running set for punishment YET have some like nudity completely disabled.  I'll still use the mod but won't use that feature since personally, i'd like to disable what i'd wish on that part completely. Just food for thought!

I dont think I understand the issue. 

You want to be punished for sneaking and or running, but not for beeing naked? 

Technically, this should 100% be possible.
Just in case you mean the "messages" that inform you that are raped for X or Y: they are only cosmetical and indeed not 100% correct at the moment (possible it says "Raped for beeing naked" even when that feature is at 0%. I will improve the message system in the future.

In case you want to see what public punish does, enable "Info Messages" in System MCM and you see all factors that increase exposure in the upper left corner.

I don't use DD it has to many .esp requirements for my current mod build.

I love your mod, it has replace Defeat, I still use defeat for one thing it ability to have a keybind that lets me change the random animation if I feel like it.

which animation do you mean? Sexlab Animation? or an idle animation? 
Sexlab has change random animation itself. I also suggest Sexlab Tools mod

enable NymStrippingServicein MCM (might add more detailled stripping options in the future). 
also I suggest you configure your Sexlab Stripping options (in Sexlab MCM) 🙂

NOTE: Currentöy NymStrippingService is built around the idea of consecutive stripping, so strip one armor piece after each sex scene only, but has the chance to strip completely too.

found out that in skyrim you can fall down without registering the event... and you can fall down without jumping before.

 

in other words, you can jump from a cliff and then one minute later jump from another cliff, but the script uses your height from cliff 1....

I add additional falling checks in the next patch to reduce the chance for "unfair falling" situations :D

You can access the SexLab menu controller by pressing Option Key when the player is involved in a SexLab sex scene or by aiming a NPC involved in a SexLab sex scene.

 

Pressing Option Key will open a menu where you can choose from all the animations that are playing in this current scene.
Holding Modifier key and pressing Option Key will open the stage selector.

 

This is what I am talking about and it works better then the one in sexlab tools.

Yes I did do understand the messages might have been off but I had only sneaking and running up on the right side of the mcm but still got punished, it said for being indecent but 1. I hadn't been running or sprinting and 2. I had been wearing clothes. If the messages were incorrect, I'm not sure what the punishment had been for .. awesome feature, and I adore the mod itself. Was more mentioning it so you knew.

Might be, you could test it? If it is Pandora, it's worth notifying the developer. Of course Nymra could make his life a lot easier and add some extra nice stuff if he were to use OAR, but sadly he is still stuck in LE, so none of the modern goodies available to him and hence in extension to us (at least as far as ND is concerned).^^
