How to Make Voice FilesĀ Yourself

Ā

Heyho,Ā

the xVA Synth community guide links to another script for creating batch csv files. The thing is, neither yours nor that other script are "perfect", as your script creates way too many lines, where the other ignores some for a reason I don't know. (perceived while creating lines for Lauras Bondage Shop v3.30)

Ā

Maybe you could compare your approach for the problem with the other one, to further reduce the amount of generated lines while not ignoring any, as the other one does?

Hello,

I have got an error with file sk_astrid_valerica .

This file is no longer supported in 1.4.0.

The file is in the archive section of SKVA Synth - xVASynth.
Does anyone have this file to share or a way solve the problem? I can't do anything without it.

Thanks.

It's now split in two: sk_astrid and sk_valerica

Hello,
Thanks for the answer but it doesn't work, i have a missing sk_astrid_valerica error.
I managed to recover the file from the archives,it works fine now.
I generate the voices for one esp and it works in game but i cannot generate the lip sync for the dlc voices.

In game the followers like the recorder have no voice.

Is there a manipulation to do?
Thanks.

This is awesome! I have got one problem tho: Mega doesn't let me download the babodialogue package, too big (>5GB). I scrolled through the comments and found some stating the files are split or whatever so they can be downloaded, but whatever I do I end up on the mega page with a single zip that's more than 5GB....

Ā

Help a noob out please, what do I do?

I had the same problem. I was told to just dowload it and that the site would not stop the download. I was rather surprised when it actually worked.

I am not sure how or even if that 5GB limit is enforced.

Well, it kinda works, thanks! It is stuck now at 91% and I have to wait 4 hours for it to continue for free, so they do enforce the limit for a bit. But if the only penalty is a bit of waiting I guess its pretty fair

same here, I made the mistake of closing the "transfer exceeded quota" message and countdown restarted :( . Now waiting on 4:30 mins. I really should clean up my pc for space and do it myself.

oh, weird. Mega allowed me to dowload the whole file without any interruption, even if it was more than 5GB. At this point I am not sure how the limit works.

Hi hello everyone,

Ā

It's this time of year which means that I have an urge to play Skyrim again, so I'm back!

In the following weeks I will be updating voice packs well as export script, possibly adding new mods that I will use during my playthrough or highly requested ones.

Ā

So while I'm getting everything ready I need opinions on the following.

As cool as it would be to have a fully voiced game, the voice packs are really getting bloated. For example, BaboDialogue alone is 5.5 Gb and it will grow bigger unless we do something. One of the main reasons of this is a big amount of unique voices. As for right now every "generic"Ā dialogue line is getting voiced for every voice type available.

So I'm inclined to make the following voice types "low priority" ones:

CrDragonVoice
CrUniqueAlduin
CrUniqueOdahviing
CrUniquePaarthurnax
DLC1FemaleUniqueFura
DLC1FemaleUniqueValerica
DLC1MaleUniqueDexion
DLC1MaleUniqueGaran
DLC1MaleUniqueGelebor
DLC1MaleUniqueHarkon
DLC1MaleUniqueIsran
DLC2FemaleUniqueFrea
DLC2MaleUniqueAdril
DLC2MaleUniqueLleril
DLC2MaleUniqueModyn
DLC2MaleUniqueNeloth
DLC2MaleUniqueStorn
FemaleUniqueAstrid
FemaleUniqueDelphine
FemaleUniqueElenwen
FemaleUniqueKarliah
FemaleUniqueMaven
FemaleUniqueMirabelleErvine
FemaleUniqueVex
MaleUniqueAncano
MaleUniqueArngeir
MaleUniqueDelvinMallory
MaleUniqueEsbern
MaleUniqueGalmar
MaleUniqueKodlakWhitemane
MaleUniqueMercerFrey
MaleUniqueNazir
MaleUniqueTullius
MaleUniqueUlfric

Ā

"Low priority" means that these voice types will not be used for speech synthesis unless dialogue line directly references them.

I chose these voice types just because their speakers play minor role during majority of the gameplay and it's just not sufficient to have mods voiced for them.

What do you think? Personally, I don't mind processing almost every single voice type, but at some point this will make some of the packs just absurdly huge.

That makes a lot of sense, and sounds like a really good idea! I fully support omitting the unique voices.Ā ?

I would keep Dexion, Ulfric, and maybe Isran. In my pt, these would have more impact than just their gameplay in vanilla-ish. Otherwise, I agree, unless a mod indicates that one of the people in your list might have a more significant role than normal, you don't need to include them for most mods.

Alternatively, you could make a 'unique voices' pack.

But to be fair, you should do what you think is reasonable for you. No need to feed my greed, so to speak. ?

Added voice files for SexLab SurvivalĀ 0.673 Beta to the first post.

Not providing update files this time as I updated quite a few of my SKVASynth voice models that are used in SexLab Survival.

New voice models that worth noting are:Ā DLC1FemaleVampire, DLC1MaleVampire,Ā FemaleCoward,Ā MaleCommander. Other than that there are little to no new dialogue lines compared to 0.662, so see for yourself if it worth redownloading for you.

Ā

Added voice files forĀ SexLab Pleasure 1.0 to the first post.

Just a little plugin to test filtering in the updated version of my export script.

Ā

Moving on toĀ SLSF Fame Comments 3.0.1 now...

Can I request that some one do a voice pack for Apropos 2 PLEASE?

Apropos 2 doesn't use native dialogue system from what I know. Making something like that for Apropos would mean developing whole new system just for that mod.

and some voice packs have the voices but they kinda lack emotion right now can that also be worked on?

I'm sure this can be done, but that would take insane amount of time. We just batch create voice files here, so we have to rely on what xVASynth offers by default.

It seems you've put the wrong link for SexLab Pleasure, sir.

Heyho,

Ā

as the new xVA Synth v2 has the new feature of ARPAbet onboard, I thought: why not make use of it?

Ā

What is ARPAbet?

ARPAbet is a phonetic transcription code, meaning you have codes of two or three symbols that show the pronounciation of a word.

xVAsynth now is able to replace a badly spoken word with it's ARPAbet code, and thus get the word pronounced correctly!

Ā

How to help?

I've created a Google Form, where everybody may add words he came across, playing with adult mods, that are pronounced badly.

If you're interested, which words already got added, here's the table with the answers.

Ā

"Rules"

Please, only add words that are pronounced wrong or bad.

Do not add words that are used everyday (eg: "though" already is included in the ARPAbet dictionary!)

Only add words, that are specific to this community. DanRuta (the author of xVA Synth) already has built a website for "normal" Skyrim specific words.

Ā

I already added two words as examples, you can find them in the table.

It would be awesome if we could find as many words as possible, so the synthed voices can get even better!

Ā

What will be the result?

The result will be a list of words, best with their transpositions, which I could add to a ARPAbet dictionary for xVA Synth. That file then will be uploaded and updated (more or less regularly), so everybody who wants to create synthed voices for a mod can download it and doesn't need to worry about badly pronounced nasty words anymore!

Updated BaboDialogue voice files based on versionĀ 4.031. The link is in the first post.

It's actually surprisingly 2 Gb smaller now, thanks to the new version of the export script, which I will be releasing soon.
