This is all trumped by the fact that I see myself as literally the worst Patreon candidate of all time.

Well, you just pushed me to join your Patreon program, when I start in my new job next year.

I just got in with Fallout 4. Hearing that something is at least planned is a happy news to me. biggrin.png

hello everybody,

I have a little problem on installation which never happened before. Maybe I don't ask in the right support and must see with nmm support but... I don't know, maybe someone has the answer :P

When I install the mod by clicking on green V button of NMM, after a while (at 90% of installation about), that says me "a problem occured during install".

This is not the first mod I install from loverslab and this one doesn't work.

If nobody have the answer, maybe say me how to install manually, "show me the way" :)

Thank you, and excuse me for my bad English,

Hey! Sorry if this has been asked before but, is the "relocate scene" feature supposed to be broken in this update? or is it just not working for me specifically? I'm talking about the feature that lets you press a key and move normally to a new spot, then a few seconds later the SexLab scene carries on.

When I press the key my character stands up for a split second once or twice and then goes right back into the animation/scene.

This update has been out for ages now, and nobody I've seen has reported such an issue; plus it's something I specifically test for being a problem when I release an update, due to movement being a major issue with various mods. The relocate function is nothing more than a pause to the current sexlab functionality, followed by a resume a few seconds later.

As an unrelated note, I've had to set my SexLab to not make adjustments based on race and gender in order to not CTD. The potential fix feature in the same page of the settings does not work for me at all, unless that fix is for something else entirely.

Absolutely not unrelated. If you have problems with race/gender combos causing CTD, than you have major issues elsewhere in your game, because SexLab is utterly irrelevant in this respect, the only place it matters for SexLab is

Regardless of all that, there is nothing anybody can provide you specific details on,  unless they have specific experience with that exact thing, or if you provide more direct informations - name a papyrus debug log (see the FAQ and troubleshooting guide...)

You're right, I apologize! Should've done a bit of research or at the very least post a log about it.

Guides read, thread created in the appropriate sub-forum, log posted!

Oh and it seems the CTD I experienced before with the gender and race setting enabled was a one-time only thing. Re-enabled that feature when loading my game to create the Log and the scene started just fine. Shouldn't have assumed there was something completely broken just because of a single unfortunate CTD instance :)

when i try to install sexlab framework with nmm it loads to about 80-90% and stops and an messege comes up saying "a problem occurred during install:   access to search way  c:\games\nexus mod manager\skyrim\cache\sexlabframework_v162_full\fomod\info xml denied.  the mod was not installed"

anyone have an idea how to fix it?

Are you running NMM as administrator? Note that having admin account does not always run tools with administrator rights.

-> Right click application to set correct properties.

if your steam folder is located in the program files folder then you will have troubles getting mods to install

As far as your issue... It looks like it's an issue with the info.xml file going poof according to a quick google. Check and see if you have an info.xml at that filepath, if you don't your antivirus probably killed it. Get it put back (reinstall NMM maybe) and set your AV to ignore it on scans to try and fix the problem.

it worked when i made my anti virus to not delete the file and i ran the steam verify integrity game cache

The relocate feature works great in my game and has for a long time.  He may be hitting the [ button (realign actors) instead of the ] button (change location).  I get them confused sometimes also.

I've used SexLab for a long time now (since it's initial release).  Checking the CTD Fix to not resize the actors makes SexLab more stable for me and others.  It eliminated nearly all CTD issues for me when using SexLab.  I do use a proper skeleton.  My game is well optimized and configured.  I rarely CTD elsewhere in the game.  Skyrim doesn't do a good job of resizing meshes and textures on the fly and then immediately animating them.  It is often not "major issues elsewhere in your game".  Adding that feature fixed a lot of CTDs for many players, thank you!

Even though you call the code to resize the actors before animating them, I've often seen the actors being resized while being animated (both occurring at the same time).  This can cause CTDs.  If you can fix that from occurring, the CTD Fix option may not be necessary.

We all look forward to the next release!

Not sure if this is an issue with Defeat or Sexlab, so I'm posting it in both mods in hopes of being noticed, but I recently had to start a new character when the game kept crashing. Fair enough as I always enjoy character creation and providing a challenge for my character, female, just to make the world a more dangerous place to adventure in. And while I was exploring Bleak Falls Barrow, I fell into a fight with 3 draugers and with my limited weapons and magic I was defeated. Such is the risk a novice must take in dangerous ruins. But as the draugers started to violate my character, my female character took the male position and the drauger took the female position.

Finding this slightly odd I went back and tried again, this time pressing N to target one of the draugers, then entered Sexlab, only to find out that its gender was female. On the line above, it said my character was also female, and pressing my characters gender, I could change it to male... and back again. But when trying to do that to the drauger, nothing happened. Looking around the menu, it clearly said to me that the default gender of creatures had been set to male, but apparently, that ain't the case.

The game I had to delete earlier last week did not have this problem as werewolves attacked and violated my character, so did draugers and so on... but now that isn't the case anymore. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled or disabled to solve this? I could really use some help so I can continue the game properly.

I realize this has been asked at least three times now, but no one has answered:

Is there a known bug or mod interference with the "Restrict aggressive animations" option? It doesn't work for me and some other people, since animations tagged Aggressive are used in consensual interactions. Does anyone know of a fix to this? Thank you!

When you say "tagged", do you mean animations with keywords that indicate they are aggressive animations or are you talking about animations that are "Toggled" on in the "Aggressive Animations" section of the "Toggle Animations" page in the Sexlab MCM Menu since it is ONLY the latter that matter.

I actually didn't realize that! But there doesn't seem to be any issues with my Toggle Animations->Aggressive Animations page - I did a quick test and got FB's Prone Rape, which is correctly checked as Aggressive, through a consensual interaction.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem. But when I have Sexlab installed it my Skyrim CTDs when I run out of Stamina, if I disable the Sexlab.esm then it no longer crashes when I run out of stamina. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Since the Sexlab Framework itself does absolutely no monitoring of the player or any NPC for condition whatever is happening can't be directly cause by the Framework and would have to be caused by some other mod that does monitor the player and possibly links to the Sexlab Framework.

Since having Sexlab without other mods to use it is like owning a car but never having any fuel to drive it I suggest you examine the mods that use the framework.

However! First make sure you are doing the things that make the game more stable in the first place since the whole problem may just be because of the anthill known as Skyrim crashing so here is a great summary of things you should be doing and the download location for the best set of patches that squash a few of the most noxious of those "ants". http://www.loverslab.com/topic/56084-crash-fixes/

The only other mod I use that ties directly into SL is SL Defeat, when I disable it I still get crashes when out of stamina, but when I disable both the crashes stop. I also have installed those crash fixes and so far the crashes still happen. I searched the forums and I saw 2 other people made similar claims but never stated how they exactly fixed it.

Then document the CTD: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/46913-how-to-debug-ctd/?do=findComment&comment=1174832

I am having this problem as well so I created a test MINIMUM REQUIREMENT installation with an isolated clean install of Skyrim.

This is my esp load order:

Skyrim.esm

Update.esm

Dawnguard.esm

Dragonborn.esm

Hearthfires.esm

Sexlab.esm

FNIS.esp

SkyUI.esp

I am using SKSE v1.7.3

Skyrim Version 1.9.32

I installed the mods in this order using NMM:

1. FNIS Behavior 6.3

2. SkyUI 5.1

3. XP32 Maximum Skeleton 1.96

4. Sexlab Framework 1.62

Note: Tried with and without Unofficial Legendary Patch, no change.

Ran FNIS For Users in Administrator Mode

Launched through SKSE with NMM

Successfully Loaded in using "sstartingcell=helgenhomestead" debug line in skyrim.ini, no positive or negative effect

Power Attack 2 times

CTD

Conclusion: This current version of Sexlab Framework seems to have a problem with Stamina levels that may normally (or be expected to) go into the negatives through overexertion as I've noticed that 1 power attack takes more than 50% stamina. It may be expecting a negative number and only receives 0 or NaN, then causes a CTD.

Conclusion: You don't know a damned thing about what you are talking about.

The Sexlab Framework has NOTHING TO DO WITH STAMINA whatsoever.

Did you try that with Vanilla game? No mods at all? You'll get the same result, you don't have much stamina at the start of a new game.

EDIT: That reads harsher than I intended but since the harsh version may have gotten emailed to you I'll leave it and apologize for unnecessary rudeness.

The point though remains, Sexlab doesn't have anything at all to do with stamina, it doesn't alter stamina and it doesn't test for stamina anywhere.

I sent the other poster to the link I gave so they could document the CTD they were having, not because there was some sort of link between Sexlab and stamina.
