I never enthusiastically accept being PW. I might resign myself to it, or have to be forced. I just don't want to find myself on a forced or automatic path to enjoying my humiliation and that's where I thought you were going.

 

Glad you liked my suggestions. I did have another, similar to helping the farmer but instead you're helping the stablemaster. Sweeping instead of hoeing. Visitors to the city will get an eyeful (or more ?).

Well we could always use any of the paths(flat out deny, reluctance and open acceptance). More choices and diversity(not that kind of diversity khm :P ) is always good for the mod.

@Visio Diaboli In any case, whatever comes easiest to you for implement will probably be universally accepted. ?

I'm reminded of the old rpg saying "It's not that you can say yes but how you can say yes to accepting a quest." 

 I think people want a corruption system mainly for added dialogue options, which makes me wonder why not add more options even if several of them share the same responses? 

 

Without writing a term paper here, a "super slut" and "exhibitionist slut" and "cumslut" choice could share that same "knew a slut like you would jump at the chance to be the PW" response. The same way a "Whatever, just another quest" and "I'm getting paid for this, right?" And "I'm not faking an orgasm no matter how much they pay" could lead to the same "not gonna lie I expected a bigger reaction" response. Many roads that all lead to the same place.

 

All of them have a different flavor and allow con, noncon, or different roleplaying.

Checked my inventory and it was still completely empty (exept for the zaz shackels and a bit of extra money from the last client).

 

No debug options used, and i changed 2 things after the reload - made the Shackles exempt from the SL-strip and changed the item-thieve option to minvalue 350, maxvalue 300 to workaround the bug.

I must have missed that post. I think I've seen it posted by one other person, don't remember if I fixed it for next version yet. If you're still using that save, you can try 'coc PW_HoldingRoom' in the console, and searching the chests there. Depending how much was broken, the items should be there.

Personally, I'm not a fan of turning Public Whore into another corruption mod, but that's up to you. Maybe an alternative is create an addon to PW?  If people want the corruption aspect they can download the addon. If not, they don't. One benefit might be that it is fewer things to maintain in PW, less to go wrong, and if something does bug out, it's easier to find.

 

And now I'm going to make suggestions ? if you're looking for some.

Report to Thane Whatsit and there's a random chance of one of the following:

  1. If you already have a punishment score, then you have no choice about being sent to a bandit or giant camp. They won't pay, of course, and you have to depend on them to accurately report back so your remaining quota can be adjusted.
  2. If you don't have a punishment score, you are given the option to go to the bandit or giant camp. In exchange, your remaining quota is wiped out when you successfully return. A kind of hazard pay.
  3. Your choice: One of the local farmers needs help. Your naked self will go to that farm and help tend the crops. This will reduce your remaining quota by 4 clients. If it puts you in overtime, then bonus for you! There are hoing (hoeing?) animations in the game already you can take advantage of. If the denizens of the farm take advantage of your presence for non-crop tending purposes, well, that's life on the farm.
  4. Go to the guard's barracks for morale boosting. Spend the night, guaranteed 8 off your remaining quota.
  5. Diplomat/noble/respected citizen has a function. Wants the PW as entertainment. 8 off your remaining quota.

I'm with you, I think a corruption system sounds like way too much work for not a lot of pay off. With the way this mod tracks thane and dragonborn status I feel like it would way overcomplicate things and make adding any new content that much harder and more tedious. I'd much rather see other things like number 5 on your list.

But i have noticed something, which might help: By now I am playing with the Enforcement Option Take inventory off, so i get sold to some city and the first thing i do is store my entire inventory in some crate. But somehow I still lose my inventory (rest of it, questitems and keys and such) after i finish the last payment to the thane. So maybe there is some rogue inventory-clear (or put inventory in some chest) command in some script at the end of the whole thing?

It wouldnt have to be a full fledged corruption system, but Id also like to see something that makes the pc less resistant to go back into whore duty. A light corruption system would work, maybe in combination with some kind of incentive. I think there would at least be some potential there without going too far from the mods original purpose.

 

Despite all that, Id much rather see more starting quests (and maybe generally more dialogue) first.

I retry the mod with a fresh new start and try everything several time for several day. I was mostly interrested in the unending version and try it with the main quest.

 

Here's what I noticed;

  • Unlike when you have enough fame as a hero or slut, The character's inventory is not taked away in the main quests of Solitude/Whiterun. I mean without the "enforcer mode" option. It works great with fame hero/slut when you arrive in front of the Thane your inventory is taken away automatically if it is selected in your MCM menu enforcer mode or not.
  • I can't see anymore the bounty hunter on the road when you get out of town for more then -7 days in unending mode. I don't have any forcegreet from the guard in other hold either.

I would like to propose this to you when the PW is on the run. It would be interesting if you could put some forcegreet coming from the guards no matter the city where you are with multiple option like; Paid them an amount of gold for the guards to close their eyes. With high persuasion convince them to let you go. If you are skilled enough at Sneak run for it...

  • Submissive Lola is a nice option, but could you put some restrictions before you have access to that? It would be nice if this option only appeared after a few days as PW. I suggest you leave some written choice in the meantime like; (Come back after a few days and we'll see if I can find another solution) (I still haven't had an alternative. If you work well, I will continue to look for a win-win solution.)

I don't know what its your plan for the future of this mod. If in your vision of the mod an Unending version applies only to a city or the entire Skyrim region. I also don't know if you plan to keep the quest active for one city at a time to avoid conflicts or if you plan to put a magical state on the PW (Title, rank) that would make it in all Skyrim, the pw official.

 

In the perspective that it is only one city at a time, it would be interesting if the PC could ask for help from other Jarl. If several Jarl agree to help him/her with the help of Money/Persuation the quest could end this way. It won't work well with enforcer mode.

 

If you need some help him to write the conversations between the PW and other let me know and I would be happy to write you suggestions.

I've been excited about incorporating this new version of PW. Much to my dismay, with a clean save and after running fnis, I'm getting a tpose. I have been up and down this thread and found only one possible likeness to my scenario. It's my doing, somehow: something in my load order is conflicting with it or I'm missing something stupid. Hopefully, it could be looked into or someone has a reasonable suggestion and we'll see if I've tried it already. For the time being, I'll just revert back to the previous version. I'm using SE and still running SKSE Current SE build 2.0.20 (runtime 1.5.97). I've managed to evade updates for now.

 

I did notice that when I ran fnis without PW, I'd get one warning on the generate fnis window prior to my consistency check. After installing PW, I got 2.

Did you make sure that you download the correct version ( Public Whore v1.1.0 Beta SE.zip ) ? select the .hkx compability patch in FNIS to see which one cause that problem.

I reran fnis with  the .hkx compability patch checked and I get 6 warnings. All I see is "too many custom animations" and I have XXL (32000 limit).

big fan of this mod and I'm really looking forward to further development.

Sadly, I have run into a problem in the latest version:
Hero Fame doesn't seem to recognize that I am a thane and/or the dragonborn... This had worked fine in the past, but now these flags are never set.
I haven't seen this issue come up yet, so I wanted to ask if only I am having this 'bug'. Maybe something in the MCM I botched? Hero Fame is activated btw...

How many animation mod are you using. And try to disable some sexlab animation ( keep Devious Device, ZaZ enable ) to test it out, if It works then sadly you have to remove a few animation mod.

Hi, I just want to thank you for providing this great mod. I just download the lastest version with my Skyrim AE and it runs perfectly well. I just want to ask, is it possible in future version, we can have a escort guard to the PC as enforced public whore if PC wants to do the bandit quest to speed up the quota? As currently if the PC in enforced mod, she cannot leave the city, and hence is impossible to do the bandit quest. 

 

Also, just a suggestion, do you consider maybe incorporate your mod with civil war quest? As a war prisoner to become the public whore in the capital city of each faction is another convincing way to make PC as public whore.

Idk if this is what you mean, but I think a feature where you ask a jarl from another hold to pay your debt for you and in exchange you become pw in their hold might be useful. And maybe depending on your fame in that hold you have to repay the debt in addition to the usual quota. This feature could be used if you want more time, in exchange for degrading yourself in another hold and potentially adding even more money you have to come up with.

So, lets say you are pw in solitude, still owe 1000 gold but you know you cant make it in time. You then go to whiterun, ask the jarl to pay that money for you, he agrees on the condition that you become pw in whiterun, you get a new quota (eg 5000 gold) and if you were already close to being pw in whiterun anyway you also have to pay back the 1000 gold provided, ending in a 6000 gold debt, but at least your timer to come up with that money got reset.

You could even do interest on the initial debt, eg the jarl only agrees if you become pw and pay 50% interest on the original 1000 gold, resulting in a 6500 debt, maybe with an adjustable mcm slider.

Hi, I just wanted to mention that I ran into something which causes my game to CTD seemingly at random.

Your idea have merit indeed and i like it. But i was testing the endless mode without engage the enforcer mod. Gold and client don't really matter in that case.

 It's intended to leave your inventory untouched unless enforced mode is active, or maybe an item confiscation toggle? (I can't remember if that's a thing I added atm). If there's a non-enforced mode, item confiscation toggle, then it probably needs to be fixed, because I haven't touched it in so long I forgot about it.

Hero Fame is busted in the new version, will be fixed in the next

Eventually I will, but it'll be a large task. Not sure when I'll start on it.

I think it occurs while outside of a city, I encountered it during bugfixing. I fixed it, mostly; it'll still take some polishing to make it a 'good' solution.

So we can count on it for next wek. that would be gorgous if the bugs listed would all work fine. Would be a hammer of a mod.

Next thing i would top priorize is the bandit quest for creatures. That would be unique, i m waiting for this since creature sex came up.

Please keep up a clear eye for straight, clearly playable content like the creature quest and avoid unimportant unplayable or useless content wasting your time and raise bugs fpr nothing, as many proposes here. See Inte working on POP since 8 years, didnt get anything new in the mod, didnt get most old things running solid, opposite adding a lot of unnecessary but unsolid things. Maria Eden was  a superb mod, fantastic, but totally buggy and Zaira never took the time to repair bugs. He continued with new things with new bugs instead making the mod playable. Those examples could be continued.
