Ok, i managed to break a slave by waiting and hitting once, then scolding once, but now they stay broken no matter how much time passed. btw, i cant find the log

Broken is just one step towards abduction. Now you will need to give them something good, praise them at least once or they won't become loyal or inlove. And for inlove you will also have to give a bit of yourself...

Was messing around with some of the features (newer to me since being back) and I love how it feels. especially the explanations on how to deal with certain types of slaves as before I was a bit confused. I have a few more questions though:

  • You were saying any slave with Submission>0 in DoM wont get deleted from the game but will stay in place if released using the Thug feature. Does that mean if I had slaves I wanted to free as long as they had some semblance of submission training I can turn them to permanent followers and always come back to them without them despawning

Kind of, you might have to re-enslave some of them though. As they won't all want to become thugs.

  • In the future will there be a chance of having more thugs? For example, if I just wanted to send out trained slaves in little fighting groups is there a chance of the thug limit being raised, or does having more than 8 weigh down on the code?

It's a code limit for now, and it won't change very soon. Mostly because it is still buggy and I don't want to create a disaster. But once it works smoothly we can discuss it.

  • I did some more testing with the problem that you and I have with the random nudity. It happened again for me while troubleshooting, but not when I told the thug to perform an interaction. I saw that Pah updated and made a change to stop the nude bandits bug. Is there a chance that this might have something to do with it?

Yes it certainly could.

yeah, i praised, comforted, waited, how many time is it supposed to take normally?

'Nother little one:

  • Say  "OK Slave" ->
  • "You're going to do something for me"
  • Slave tells you to get lost
  • You punish slave
  • DoM reports punishing for "no_reason"

Just waiting won't take you anywhere. Keep hitting them until they get shocked.

OK, that does the trick. Yeah a cute picture should help.  Needs to be in dds format if I remember right, otherwise it's pretty straightforward.

While I'm here, I'm having problems with AYGAS. No MCM, the selling dialogue happens but nothing comes of it, and the log file shows that a number of scripts can't be loaded ... largely the same ones overwritten by DoM.

I raised this in the AYGAS thread, and pinged you from that post.

Known issue with AYGAS. It's incredibly sensitive to other scripty mods. Too many and it gets scared and just refuses to start. One thing that's always worked for me when that happens is moving it up in the load order, I think it's literally the first esp in mine, since its only master file is the pahe esm. Should work like a charm.

Trying that now. It'll give me an excuse to visit Dawnstart and try and sell some excess meat, and if it doesn't work, I'll have a log file :)

Only played a little bit so far but took my slaves out of HSH in one of my homes back into PAH to finish up there stats and i'm noticing that for praise they are doing the same dialogue line in response as scold, i.e. i praise a slave for being a good slave and they respond with sorry

No dice.

Yeah try moving the esp up, and start a new game to see if the MCM is there. If it is, then you've solved half the problem, the other half is going to be getting it into an existing game.

Try typing setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1 in console and see if that helps. It's supposed to reload all MCMs so once it says "MCM has x menus" see if AYGAS made the cut

@TrollAutokill By the way, I keep forgetting to ask.  Do you by chance happen to have a .json that's populated with personality profiles for all the vanilla NPCs?  I'd like to start working on a lore-friendly personality list—which I'll be happy to share, of course—in a systematic way.  And if I've understood (and remembered) your previous comments correctly, I'd need to go through the DoM dialogue with every single NPC in order to have the file to edit.  Which is just a level of tedium I'm not well keen on.

My plan is to do the characters with the most recognisable personalities first, and then set the personalities of the more "blank canvass" characters to balance things so that every trait has an average score of 50.5 across the whole population.  Probably I'll work city by city, then do a re-pass to rebalance as necessary once I get that done.

It's one json per NPC. I created a few for fun, feel free to create new ones and to share here.

Ok, I found the bug, you will never get them shocked in 2.1.3, that might explain your problems...

Oh, jesus, so there's going to be massive tedium regardless then.  Well, still, do you happen to have a fully populated archive or anything?  Maybe I'll just work in a spreadsheet for now and cross the .json bridge when we come to it...

No, nothing like that.

I am not a json expert so there is probably a way to make one big file; but I don't know how to read it. If someone could explain how it I would switch to one big file...

Try 2.1.4 to see if it gets better. Nothing new, just bug fixes and a pretty picture

Maybe @HexBolt8 can help you with that?  SLTR uses an absolutely massive .json for all kinds of references.

At any rate, that reinforces the "I'll just work in a spreadsheet for now" plan.

OK. I'd moved it right up, but not started a new game.. The MCM does show up on a new game.

That might explain why I have a couple of badass slaves refusing to give an inch.

Hello, i need your help. I just installed the mod and im really loving it, everything works fine except for 1 small detail... i cant hear my slave when she cries, is this normal? Also i cant hear when she talks most of the time ( but i think this is normal ). If you could help me i would really appreciate it :)

This is normal.  That's what the "Fus Ro Doh" dependency is for.  Most such mods use unvoiced dialogue, because voice acting either sucks, is really expensive, or is really hard to find.

Thanks for ur answer.

Tried 2.1.4 and i'm still getting the scald dialogue for the praise option but the weird thing is that its only when i use the hotkeys i've set

Praise/Scald from the dialogue option listen to me --> you've been good/bad has no response from the slave

Praise from hotkey i've bound (key #3) gets scald response

Scald from hotkey i've bound (key #4) gets scald response

The debug notification for all is correct, i.e. praising slave, scalding slave etc, its just there response to it that is either missing from dialogue option (maybe as dialogue box is still open/in the process of closing) or incorrect when done from a hot key
