Interestingly, if I save, quit and reload, the corpse has gone, but another one spawned elsewhere in the same dungeon.

It's worse than I thought. Two of the girls in that pile are corpses.

Could you check in the MCM menu if spawned NPCs are cloned or not?

You have to enchant a weapon to get one. They are not available as already enchanted without the console. Maybe later with another small quest.

You can also order them to shut up. It might not work for all random dialogue though.

Would going into the esp and pruning that line from the dialogue tree work or would it just do horrible things?

That explains a lot, thanks!

 

In almost a decade in playing this game, I haven't ever played as a mage or with any sort of magical weapon set, and the first thing I do with followers is turn off their magic capabilities.  And I've never ever enchanted a weapon of any kind for any purpose whatsoever

 

And now it looks like I may have to learn how to, before I pop my clogs .... ?

Sure.

I don't think it's a combat issue. I just had captured one NPC in the middle of sex using the abduct hotkey, and she mis-cloned as well.

Uh, how do you do that ? I dont mind a magic user fro mtime to time but there are way to many for my taste.

Is there a way to disable the blush for DoM? Reason being since I use Blush when aroused they kinda fight with eachother. (I like the concept but since there's only 3 overlay slots for the face and DoM can end up using all I believe it makes the two conflict it seems.) Alternatively, the fix used to be for BWA to increase face slots in ni override.ini but since that's built in with race menu I don't know where I can edit the slot amount to allow more overlays on characters face

Changing the number of overlay slots is simple. You just edit the ini file that the racemenu SKSE plugin comes with, either nioverride.ini on LE or skee64.ini on SE.

 

[Overlays/Face] ; "Face [Ovl#]" and "Face [SOvl#]"
; Determines how many face overlays there should be
iNumOverlays=3 ; Default[3]

 

Just change the number after iNumOverlays in that section to a higher number.

Oh shit I was wondering about that too. Are there any consequences to raising it? Is there a max number that should be avoided?

I use iAFT.  I use the option to commant the follower by dialogue.  You can swap back and forward between control by dialogue or by use of the traditional popup menu commands, The Global global parameters can be set up at the start of the game to match your overall gameplay, as well as change two of the mod's overall parameters to ensure that there is no conflict with Convenient Horses

 

The iAFT dialogue options help you control each of your followers, individually, wrt a number of functions.  Amongst these, you can tell followers, individually, whether you want them to use Magic or not.  The dialogue also implies that you can even teach them spells that you know

 

But as you'll have already guessed, as I only use the 'Magic Off' switch, I've no idea how well that all works ?

Good news is it fixed my BWA issue with DoM. It also increased my frames and reduced lag lol. Bad news is I was hoping itd make my Followers stop randomly turning invisible and it didnt but I can figure that one out in time haha. Thanks :D

just increase face slots. make sure your on newest  slavetats as it  has now unlimited albity to see slots unlike old.
invisible npc/follwers is due to smp especaly if your on "faster smp". when it drops smp off a person that is not in camera they have  a chance of going invisisble. thats why youu notice the ones that are not smp never disappaer.


looks like there a issue with end condition for posing. i had a slave pose for see how much you worth. but when she stops  she will keep doing it even thou see had stoped. if they start sand box it will end  but tilll something triggers them to move they stay in fake pose.

Btw, I had set the values to 200% I forgot about that. I will now try on regular 100%. So you discard my previous report as it's a bit faulty. I'm not complaining though. that just means my method of training is justa whole lot more effective than I thought. ?

Supposedly you can have up to 128 overlays in each slot, but having too many can slow down the game. So only use what you need.

I am still trying to find the cause of the "can't talk to slave anymore" and it might be related to "You're in charge of cleaning the mess here"? Is it possible that that function has some infinite loop or "memory leak"? It seems that after some time "doing housework" (couple in game hours) the slave got laggy and then unresponsive and every time i tried to talk to her papyrus started spamming lots of errors (see spoiler). Resetting the NPC in PAHE and then in DoM ("Come here" -> "Stop whatever you are doing") seems solve the problem. (I will try to confirm it by doing it again though)

Which lead me to the idea, that maybe the function CleanTheMess() or one of the involved ones keeps stacking and not terminating, resulting over time in a couple dozen cleaning threads running at once and clogging the NPC up (I'm not versed in Papyrus scripting however, I might be completely wrong here)

My favourite editor is notepad++

 

The error you're seeing is due to your slave trying to pick up an object with no 3d loaded, slowing down the script. On top of that, if a script lags too much then the next update event might trigger before it has finished. Here a new loop over scattered objects is created while the previous loop is not finished. It's not dangerous but can create a pile up of script lag, as you are experiencing.

 

I will add a few checks on 3d loaded for the slave and the mess they are arranging and put a check to make sure only one task at a time is performed.
