Little finisher is currently disabled. Only normal finisher is enabled.

I can see in the log that aaControl [false........] is called, but there is nothing that will re-enable said controls.  I have to enter the command 'enableplayercontrols' each time.  I have the latest released version of this mod installed and checked that the UD_patch is loaded after this mod.  Any suggestions?

The disabler is not very reliable. It will be reworked in next version, so it will work on native level.

You cant reach the armbinder locks if you have tied arms. Only exception is yoke, handcuffs and elbow tie. If you want to reach locks while tied, you either have to ask some npc for help, or learn telekinesis spell

Thats a good point. Still I will have to add some kind of penalty for minigame attempt, otherwise player can just spam minigames and stop them before they are exhausted

I'm working on full rework of modifiers right now. It will allow to edit chance for getting any modifier you want. You will also be able to edit magnitude of modifiers, so you can make some modifiers weaker or stronger. Lastly, it will also allow to add new modifier by external mods, so if someone with basic papyrus knowledge wants, they can make new modifiers.

Announcement

This will be not surprise for people who follow discord for DDNG, but as of now, the version 2.1 will be last supported LE version. All new versions will be SE exclusive.

Why ? Because it is impossible for me to add new features without drastically reducing performance and stability, of not only the mod, but whole game. For that reason, I'm migrating many features to native plugin, which will make mode much faster and stable. It will also allow to do things which were not possible with papyrus alone. As of now, I have migrated most features that were heavy for mod. More specifically

  • Orgasm system is now almost fully native. This was the slowest part of the mod, as around 90% papyrus calls were only from this system. The native rework will be using parallel processing to drastically increase speed for calculating the orgasm variables. How system works was also edited to allow more possible uses in future. The reworked system is basically only glued to main native plugin, as I'm thinking of separating it and releasing it as its own mod. But that only possibility, and I will first have to do more testing. Issue is also reading the arousal values, which is currently done by using edited OSLA dll plugin.
  • Reworked modifiers. Only small part is done natively, but without converting other functions, the modifier calculations would be too slow.
  • Reworked many functions which are used many time in UD to be native. This include randomInt/float functions. IsPlayer/CodeBit/DecodeBit, and much more
  • Disabling player actions is done natively by editing mapped controls. This means that instead of using DisablePlayerControls, keyboard keys for certain actions are disabled (in case of minigame, most keys. In case of hardmode, only few. This can be edited in new ini file)
  • And many more smaller changes

As the number of changes is quite big, the next version will be not 2.2, but instead 3.0

 

Lastly, the new version discussion is done on DDNG discord (link). I also upload there the experimental build for version 3.0.

Apologies here is what it says. This has only happened since upgrading to 2.1 this is for all interactions where an npc is to equip me with devices even when hiting a cursed loot trap nothing equips same error message appears.

I'm not against preventing minigame when for example being below 40% of stamina, but as said it can currently prevent minigame even if you are at 100%. No amount of waiting will make it higher than 100% so rather than spamming minigame you can't do it at all.

 

It stems from tracking wrong values somehow. Maybe the current "total stamina" is looking at what stamina would be without all active debuffs on player, when it should be using the current effective max stamina. Is it possible to obtain those values?

... and same with magicka ...

 

Also i'm using exhausted debuff limit something like 6 that would prevent player from minigames, but like said none of my effective debuffs were from UD. And this was repeatably occuring issue, not one off bug.

Any rough (couple of days? weeks? months? ...?) estimate as to when you _might_ be releasing the "non-beta" version? I'm about to start a new game and it would be really nice to know whether it might be worth waiting for 3.0 ?

For what it's worth: I recently started a new game where I installed a few new mods and I had to rerun fnis. I previously had had a very stable build where I had no issues with UD, but that same problem you mention made the mod not work at all because of that error, it affected a lot of devices. I am at this point reasonably confident that in my case it was caused by a load order issue - at least it was solved by modifying the load order until I got it to work. I'm not completely sure but I'm assuming fnis was not registering the new behaviours introduced by UD but only the behaviours introduced by cursed loot because of where the fnis output was written/updated (so equip functionality was working, devices were displaying; it was only UD behaviour that failed to load). I changed the load orders around a bit (there were multiple new mods introduced, so it's all a bit unclear what was the exact reason for the problem) and now it seems that the problem has been solved.

 I like your module very much.I want to optimize the filter function of the device,A separate category can be made for Abadon devices and every color.I'm sure not everyone likes players whose devices are colorful?

Unfortunately there's no way now to separate device by colors reliably, there are no color keywords in DD, nor they separated by colors in LLs.

Attempts to separate devices by colors through their names were made, but this can be rendered ineffective when translations are applied.

Hard to say. Depends on how fast I manage to fix all issues. But regarding the features, I'm mostly done, so it will be now more about fixing new issues.

Yeah same but it is at that SE link i gave, version 1.2.0. LE version would not work with 1.59.

 

Does it work if you start a new game, save and load? Check load order for Unforgiving Devices and its related patches. UD first, then DD patch and lastly content mod patches.

it did not work even after starting an New game but i fixed it by using Loot

Once again, check carefully your load order. Use LOOT or simply make sure that UD patches are loaded after main esp and patched esps.
