Files in the ABC directories are for the player only. It just dawned on me. I play a male character who only has sex with women. Apparently, the female voice I'm hearing is coming from me! HA! I didn't realize. Thanks for clarifying. Hmm...that can't be right. I play a male character. When I use the apparel device, I can select voice set A, B, or C. What I select then gets used by the female I engage in relations with. If what you state is accurate (and you would know better than I!) then I wonder if some other sexout mod changed how these sounds were used to accommodate male players? If so, then disregard my question! The issue must not be with this mod. Edited November 24, 2021 by Takurtz07 1
AlyKat024 Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 I can't imagine why, but placing the .esp anywhere at all in my load order absolutely destroys most of the textures in my game. Even reduces the birds circling Goodsprings to pink squares, and seemingly random vanilla items into exclamation points.

If this was the last one but you have like 134+ it is a known issue that the game basically collapses in on itself.

I've even installed other mods since uninstalling this one with no problems. Thanks for the advice, though! On 2/1/2022 at 6:24 AM, t3589 said: This mod doesn't touch or have any meshes or textures. LexRage77 Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Christ, I rarely heard a voice sexier than the one from the folder "Voice A" (the raspy voice) ? May I ask where it comes from?
A Random Dude5 Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I'm sorry if i'm being an idiot, but i think i installed this mod correctly, but i still hear the exact same voicefiles on every character and i am sure those are the default voices. Your instructions say "disable sexout voices" and i'm not sure which setting that is and i suspect that might be what's messing me up. Any setting i find and turn off just fully turns off the voices so the acts are silent. So yeah, any hint would be nice.
dongding Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 (edited) Untick those two "Use Voices", "Use in-game voices" Edited October 20, 2022 by dongding

But when i did it just muted everything... Guess I'll try that again. Thanks Edit: Yup, just tried again. The dude keeps moaning and grunting a LOT but the females are just silent... Any ideas? dongding Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 You have to create your own sound files for NPC's that are non NV or use unique voice lines (custom companions for exaple). Check out the folder: Fallout New Vegas\Data\Sound\voice\SexoutSound.esp There are .txt instructions on how to do it.

However i looked at the folder and the only custom people i have, actually have folders named after them. So from what you said it should be giving them voices though right? Like i was under the assumption that this mod replaced all the sound files?
dongding Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 (edited) This mod at first looks up the "Voice Type" that the actor is using (Bartender Lacey at the Mojave Outpost has FemaleAdult05 [VTYP:0013C8CE]) and then examines the available files in the "FemaleAdult05" folder in Fallout New Vegas\Data\Sound\voice\SexoutSound.esp. I just checked the data folder one can download myself, and it only contains generic sounds for oral sex and some gagging. So there is a reason why you can't actually hear her. You have to open up the Fallout - Voices.bsa, extract the FemaleAdult05 files yourself, and then rename them according to the .txt files that Sound Replacer provides. Sounds Like a lot of work if i have to do that for every NPC... Also which "Voices.BSA" do you mean? i don't have that... Also i never tried opening a BSA file. Is it the same as a 7zip file?

This file contains all the voice files for NV: Fallout - Voices1.bsa
t3589 Posted October 21, 2022 Author Posted October 21, 2022 Some voice types don't have anything to use. So if it's a vanilla voice type and there aren't enough sound files, you have to create them. FemaleAdult05 might be one of those. If that's the case, cracking open the BSA isn't going to yield anything. In other words, all vanilla voice type files are provided. If there aren't enough for a particular voice type, it's because: A. The game doesn't provide anything usable. B. I can't post copyrighted material. The easiest way to solve this is to pretend they're a quiet lay. The second easiest way is to copy the files from another voice type in the data pack and rename them. The best way would be to create your own voice files and rename them accordingly.

Personally i just want a bit of variety in the lay's. If some are the same as others i don't mind really. So if a finished folder download exists I'd have interest in that... Not that I'm lazy, mind you, just i easily lose focus or lose track of things if i need to read to much stuff in one go. 2 hours ago, dongding said: You have to use the BSA browser for that. I checked my files and i don't see it anywhere.

New voice files are not going to magically appear in the vanilla BSA. So sifting through the BSA is a waste of time. If you can't live with one voice type not having enough files: - Copy them from another voice type (in the data pack). - Paste them into the voicetype folder that you have a problem with. - Rename them according to the documentation. 1

You say one voicetype but everyone i tested on was silent. But after checking the files i do see only 2 of them were pretty much empty. Guess i got really unlucky in my choice of testers XD Edit: On a semi-related note: I noticed that for some reason selecting Voice A, B or C just makes it mute as well (tested as female). I checked the folder and it has files in them but i can't listen to any of them for some reason. Edited October 22, 2022 by A Random Dude5

Also i am saying when i download and unzip the folder, i look into the A B or C folders and literally none of them play anything. Almost like the files are bugged. And yes i redownloaded to see if it fixes and it didn't. So maybe that's why i doesn't play ingame either?
Mach05 Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 So how does one hear the gag voices? I’ve got SCR installed, but have no idea how to trigger them.

Wear a gag. How to do that I don't remember. Someone was creating ball and cloth gags along with the sex toys at one point.

dongding Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Well, Sexout Common Ressources has all the items you need. You just need a mod to get it. It's probably the Store mod, or get this little mod here: itembrowser.rar (dropbox.com) Allows you to spawn everythign in your menu via MCM.

I’ve been typing out item IDs via console this whole time, and now I won’t have to thanks to this. Second, I was able to spawn some gag items from the SCR section. But nothing happened after equipping them to my character and the NPC. Do I need to do something specific to trigger gag sounds? Edited November 4, 2022 by Mach05
