Aside from the missing textures, you might have other issues with pillories with ZAP 6.0, because the form ID of pillory keyword has been changed in ZAP 6.0 and this keyword is used in PO in two different places, in FURNITURES and QUESTS.

If you have TES5Edit you might want to fix that yourself. All you have to do is to find the missing ID of the previous keyword and change it with the new keyword ID.

  • Open up xazPrisonOverhaul.esp in TES5Edit
  • Go to Furniture -> xpoFurniturePillory -> Keywords
  • You should be able to see the error in the 3rd keyword.
  • Right click on that keyword and paste this: zbfFurniturePillory02 [KYWD:03026D2B]
  • Then go to Quest -> xpoMain (Escort to Prison) and on the RHS find Quest VMAD -> Scripts -> scriptName -> xazpEscortToPrison and then go down and find IsPilloryKeyword property of  the script and again change the keyword as above.

is simpler to take the mesh form
\Data\Meshes\ZAZ-UltimateDataPack\ZAZ - Static obejcts\PunishmentPillory\PunishmentPillory-Static.nif
and copy it to the folder \Data\Meshes\xpo\PunishmentPillory-Static.nif
(the 'XPO' folder does not exist, you must create it)

I know it's been like 2 years since you posted it, but thank you.  I've been having an issue where only the bottom base of the pillories wasnt showing up on the ones added in the town squares (e.g. in Riften) by XPO

You also use the patch, which is still updated by Inte.

This mod is very interesting...

Was there ever made a version of this for Oblivion?

I know these days there probably aren't much people that care about Oblivion anymore,

but I would be very grateful if anyone rewrites it for this game, maybe also with the features

that the player's partners get affected as well just like in slave encounters mod.

When i want to start the game while this mod is activated it crashes when i get to the menu Screen. I've installed the latest patch but it still doesnt work. Does somone know how to solve this? Also if i want to uninstall it can i just use the option in the nmm or is it better to do it manually? Thanks in forward.

CTD's at startup are usually an indication of a missing dependency. Check to make sure you have all mods loaded necessary to run PO,

Also check your load order as well with LOOT

ok so i think i'd just have to install the zazanimation pack. but when i want to do that with nmm i get an error message saying something like the access to a certain file named info.xml in a fomod folder was denied. i'm running nmm as an admin but its still not working. what am i doing wrong again?

Use Mod Organizer.  A lot of the LL mod creators seem to prefer it.  I know it's a major pain, but Gopher has GREAT videos on youtube that explain how to use it.  It is worth your time, especially consider how much time you would spend fixing NMM or manual install issues.  Also (not sure what operating system and version you are using), but make sure you are not installing Steam or any Steam apps, to include Skyrim, in the Program Files folder.

I use NMM and have not had any problems but by all means try MO and see if it helps. There have been a number of reports in the ZAP thread about corrupt downloads so before you waste a lot of time trying to fix the wrong thing you would do well to do some basic checks first.

If you are getting an access denial it would indicate something more at a system level. Have you tried just unzipping it to check that the archive isn't corrupt and are you using the latest version of 7zip?

Thanks for helping me guys. the problem is solved now. I checked if it was a corrupt archive but the error message came during the installation process when everything was already unpacked. The problem was avira antivir. Deactivated it and the installation worked completely fine. Already had the exact same problem with sexlab frameword v1.62. There i just manually installed it by copying all files into the skyrim data folder. Was that ok or should i reinstall it with the mod manager ?

It will work fine with a manual install but it's preferable to use a mod manager as it makes it a lot easier if you need to uninstall or upgrade later. A manual install means you will have to manually delete all the files by hand, which can be tedious and prone to error.
