I am not sure if devious followers are to blame here or not ( pausing that mod has given me issues in the past), Or if there is a different mod conflict for that, I recently went to the latest update for the game, but it has been a while since I have tested this setting.

For that feature to work, the follower has to take damage from your hit. A setting or mod that protects followers from friendly fire (follower frameworks might have a feature for that) will interfere. 1
Hex Bolt Posted March 3, 2025 Author Posted March 3, 2025 (edited) New Runic Circle and Collar Rune Colors I've been experimenting with new colors, inspired by @Vaenja's work to get a white collar and circles. It was very tedious, but I've created sets of alternate files for 6 new colors: blue, green, pink, violet, white, and yellow. (I ended up just duplicating Vaenja's work for the white, but it was a very useful example.) You will have to overwrite files in the Runic Collar mod with your choice of the alternate color files. SLTR uses 8 spells, 8 magic effects, 4 art objects, and 2 lights to implement the default red color. Multiplying that by several colors to have it as an MCM setting is impractical. Working with the files also gives a player a lot of flexibility. You could have separate colors for the collar, the inner ring, and the outer ring. Three colors would probably be weird, but I did achieve some nice effects with two colors (one color for the collar and another for the rings, or one for the collar and outer ring and another for the inner ring). Consider this an early access. I'm waiting for the next mod update to post the color files on the mod page as an optional download; otherwise, that would send a mod update notification. CAO didn't think it needed to change any meshes for SE, so this file is for both LE and SE users. If anyone tries it, I'd be interested to know how well it works for you. Having the runic circles already requires players to install another mod, so installing SLTR isn't enough. There would have to be three settings (collar and two circles) for seven colors. There's also the matter of installing the patch mod for the color glow (if a player uses that option). It's just more than I want to do, especially for an optional feature that already requires some player tinkering. Finally, as you noticed, the default red is quite good, so it's probably a fairly small subset of players who actually use the runic collar and also want different colors. Also, it would not surprise me if players who have a little skill with editing textures don't start adjusting the colors to suit their preferences. I went for pure color hues as far as possible (the predefined textures actually have about 20 points of difference in hue between the inner and outer circles -- a subtle but attractive effect -- so I preserved that and just shifted the hue by the same amount for both circles). I had originally done a blue-violet shade for myself as sort of an electric glow, and that was what inspired me to go ahead and create other color variations for publishing. This is not clothing, but jewellery, doesn't make sense that the character gets punished for wearing them. Similarly slot 60 is used for fingernails, specifically these. Again it's jewellery. I get regularly punished during naked runs or pony show-off events, because those slots do not get auto-unequipped like everything else and sometimes I don't even get the chance to go into inventory and manually unequip stuff before the punishment triggers. Actually, would it be a big deal if all non-light/heavy armor items with jewellery keyword were excluded? I often use bracelets (slot 34 - forearms) and ankle bracelets (slot 38 - calves) on my characters and those are counted as clothing and trigger punishment, even though it doesn't make sense. Unfortunately, that's not practical, because SLTR does not do a slot-by-slot check. That would be slow and add to script load during the event. Instead, it uses a fast native function to check whether any equipped item has the forbidden keyword (such as for armor). There's no way to know which equipped items are causing the violation. Can you remove the armor keywords from your accessories? Those keywords are not required for an item to have an armor rating, and if you don't think they should be treated as armor, they're better off without those keywords. It wouldn't make sense for any mod (not just this one) to treat your jewelry as armor.

I have some Korean (i think) armour which has ridiculously high stats, but counts as nude regarding NPC comments and SubLola, because it seems to miss the armour/clothing keywords. (or they are there in korean, who knows)

So in case when master wants intercourse, it happens, animations play as usual, but after that I'm unable to talk to him anymore. When i press E on follower, it's just "..." and no dialog options shows, other tricks and tasks seemed to work properly until this one. Save/reload doesn't fix it. I have rather long list of mods, so it can be anything.

ClothingHands is a violation for a few events like Parade, the naked walk through the city, because you're not supposed to be covering anything. Fingernails do not cover hands like gloves or gauntlets do, so they should not have that keyword. Use vanilla items as a guide. A ring will have ArmorJewelry, VendorItemJewelry, and ClothingRing. Those are all okay for nudity, because rings are okay. ArmorJewelry indicates the class of item (jewelry). ClothingRing is more specific. It's mainly used for enchanting (enchantments are restricted to certain item types). VendorItemJewelry filters which items will be bought by a merchant. A blacksmith won't buy jewelry, but a clothing or general merchant will. SLTR always objects to the armor keywords ArmorHeavy and ArmorLight. It sounds like blocking dialog from a scene did not finish, leaving you stuck. There have been no reports of that problem with this mod, so it's probably from another mod. Is the sex started by this mod? The wording varies, but generally it's demanding and refers to you as a slave.

I'm sure it's from this one, I played in before last year and it worked, but I'm not saying it's your fault, probably some incompat with other mod. I can reproduce it 100% of times, happens when follower asks you randomly in town to have sex, after which you have option to go to inn or do it there, also happens when you get notification with reminder that you can submit to master, you talk to him, how can i please you, then if it rolls sex, it's strip, animations play normally, after that clothes are back on, then i can play normally except i can't talk to follower. There's no crash or anything. If you want some specific log file or something, let me know, but tbh I just want to pinpoint which mod is messing it up. Here's my modlist from some log. Yes, definitely this mod is starting the sex. Are you using a translated version of the mod (something that affects more than just the translation files, like submissivelola_est_GERMAN.txt)? So basically... nothing happens. Here are 2 images that are basically before tapping E, and after tapping. There's no usual dialogue menu. Just ... Your mod list isn't terribly long, but I noticed that Shandar isn't in it. That's odd. A web search for generic can't talk to follower problems did mention that follower mods should load after UFO. Check UFO for any features that affect follower dialog. Try turning off anything that seems remotely suspicious. It might also have a reset feature if he's in a bad state (use with caution). There are some longshot things that you might try. Open the console after clicking on Shandar. Some mods, including this one, sometimes write diagnostic info to the console. Transition to another cell. If you're outside, go inside. Possibly it might clear his blocking condition.

No, because everything is set up for one playmate (at a time), just as it is for one owner (at a time).

Possibly it might clear his blocking condition. I did spend some time messing around, reading logs and disabling some mods one by one and found out it's SOS - Grower Extended 2.3 SE. After removing that one it seems to be working properly. So I guess some skeleton issues or something along this line, but completely unrelated to Lola. I wonder where the conflict was though.
