Submissive Lola: The Resubmission LE/SE

I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong but I ran into a few issues:

1) if the follower asks player to become a slave, the quest auto fails after "closing eyes and allowing to be collared", instead no collar is applied and the follower says I changed my mind. It's possible this is some compatibility issue on my mods list, idk.
2) whatever restrainst are being applied to me simply don't appear. Sometimes, though not always, it affects my carry capacity, but nothing appears in my inventory or on my body. 
3) Even though nudity is only set to be required in player homes, right after getting the collar I need to strip naked or I am literally shocked to death for wearing armor. I have no clue how to fix it, I tried toggling it to a different setting and back but effectively it's as if I need to always be naked.

*nods a lot* 'tim' or 'tgm' while sexing in the air also seems like possible work-arounds ... though you might want to wait to turn them off until you get away from the giants and/or bandits (I'd swear I'd seen bandits there at least once) or whatever else will be chasing you.

To all three: This should not happen.

 

1) +2) do you have DD5 installed, up and running? Are you aware that it still comes with more than one esp? If you have been updating from DD4.3, maybe delete your old stuff, especially the scripts, and re-install. (You should have gotten a warning from your ModManager, though.)

2) did you run bodyslide, or do you use some non-vanilla race?

 

3) not from this mod. Yes, you get zapped for ignoring rules, you can get zapped to the verge of death, but Hexbolt added a built-in safety margin. (Uhmm, assuming that you're running some 2.0.50-ish version of SLtR, and not have updated recently from some pre-one version with leftover scripts everywhere.) This safetycatch doesn't work if some other mod fiddles with your health, namely the Cursed Loot settings that enable buffs due to arousal, are prone to killing you.

Which collar did you equip? Some of the DCL collars (slave, whore, rubberdoll...) will zap you and don't stop at killing you, when you're wearing any clothing.

1) Using Devious Devices SE&VR 5.1.7. Everything is a fresh instal I only just started with Skyrim modding after a few years away.
2) Yes to both, Femboy race with DD support patch
3) Yeah sorry I meant to bleed out, it's not actually killing me but my point is it's just zapping me for having armor on, even though I'm outside in a bandit camp, which is very much not a player home.  I have the collars set to random and it's happened with bell collar, pet collar and iron collar the same way.

Also I just noticed Lydia is ignoring my requests to go home, so I'm guessing whatever it is I did to my game is pretty nasty xD

If you use SkyUI's outfit hotkeys, be sure that the option to unequip armor is not enabled.  That option leaves devices in a bugged half-equipped state.  The latest DD 5 beta has a fix to prevent this.  If you're bugged, you can also fix the problem yourself, as described in the second item in this post.  To avoid a recurrence, stay away from functions that unequip all items on your character unless they are DD-aware.

More detail on exactly what you're seeing would be helpful in trying to determine which mod this is coming from.  Also, you didn't say how you progressed from #1 (can't become a slave because collar is not recognized) to #3 ("right after I get the collar").  If you didn't do anything, the punishment is likely from another mod.

More detail on exactly what you're seeing would be helpful in trying to determine which mod this is coming from.  Also, you didn't say how you progressed from #1 (can't become a slave because collar is not recognized) to #3 ("right after I get the collar").  If you didn't do anything, the punishment is likely from another mod.

I don't have that option enabled in Sky UI, but I seem to have the same issue with other mods like Laura's Bondage Shop where she says stuff will be put on me, but nothing is.

As for the collar, the event chain where follower asks me to submit to her is not working and fails after I "Close my eyes" but I can still ask her to submit to her and if she gives me the collar to put on it works seemingly fine, however as I said I get the message I'm wearing forbidden items right away and start getting shocked. Idk, it really seems like I have much bigger problems in the overall mod setup rather than in this specific one. Is there maybe a discord for skyrim nsfw modding or something where I could ask someone to walk me through it like I'm 5?

As Hexbolt stated your DD problem most likely stems from DD items getting removed by non DD aware mods. If it is not SkyUI than something else. Those mods are plentiful. Even some player homes and similar that automatically undress you if you enter a bathtub or go to bed can have this effect. There is no way for us to list all possible sources of the problem. Did you try the solution Hex linked?

Also, it all sounds to me like your save might be borked. Have you tried starting a new game and see if it all works then? Or at least did clean your save? (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031)

No it doesn't.  If it's compatible with 2.0.51, it's compatible with 2.0.53.  

 

This is why "modpacks" are a terrible idea.

Since I'm building up a new mod list and currently fine tuning/problem solving crashes and conflicts. I am now thinking to go either Submissive Lola over DFC. 
I have tried the mod earlier this year but I'm not sure if I gotten a good experience using the mod.
SLtR was enjoyable but felt like it lacked events where as DFC got wide range of random events.

From the events I experienced in the playthrough of SLtR earlier this year(spoiler for newer players);

- cooking or get a drink
- Treasure hunt
- cleaning room with a broom
- dance for me(?)
- (rare) blindfolded (and nothing else during that time)

I think I had a pony event where u leave the inn to go to a stable just to return to the inn? Not sure if it was from this mod or DFC, only had it trigger ones.

I reached 100 submission and it felt like it didn't progress accordingly to the submission score by introducing new twists to events or give new events other than the first 4 mentioned above.

Was my game bugged and thus limited amount of events?
If bugged, may I have an overview of some events I may have missed out? (I know of one I missed; pony quest mentioned on the mod page)

Hmmm, thanks for the list. From the list I do remember some events that I had forgotten, but it seems I had not the full experience. 

 

Something must have broken the mod, either cuz I didn't know at that time that the modlist should be optimised instead of just running LOOT.
or it was due to combination of that + DFC triggered SLtR.

SubLola continues to be great

 

I have a feature suggestion for your consideration: give Lola the option to ask for food "Master, I'm hungry may I please have something to eat ..." or drink "Master, I'm so thirsty...."

 

Gameplay Reason: if you play with Lola's Master controlling gold and a Needs mod, you can fairly easily get into situations where you can't do anything much other than scavenge for food all the time.

 

Fiction Reason: having Lola's Master controlling what she eats and drinks seems pretty in line with the control philosophy of the mod, and at the same time Lola's Master probably doesn't want her to starve to death either.

 

I can think of a bunch of different potential responses and game-play implications though I'm sure that if you like the idea, you'll have your own ideas.

As roleplay, that could be fun for the control aspect, but there's more than one needs mod.  Vanilla food could suffice (though it's boring), but I don't think iNeed water is the same as RND water -- and I really don't want to have to support specifics of needs mods.

 

As a practical matter, you shouldn't need to beg for food.  There's an allowance feature for your daily needs.  Also, there's a more generous expenses feature that lets you hold & spend some of the owner's money so the owner need not be bothered with such things.

Thank you for the incredible job. Very few bugs, stellar writing, great integration. This has exceeded all of my expectations for a mod of this type.

I'm a bit of a nitpicker, but I'm saddened that the tasks I find interesting have a relatively low rate of occurrence - specifically for instance the part where you have to carry your owner's items is pretty rare due to player convenience i presume. Also being a foot guy I value the Jarl palace event, but I find myself visiting that place a bit too much.

Yes, the aim is to allow to actually play Skyrim without too many hindrances.

I'm not into feet myself, but it's a nice submissive scene (even if the player chooses the pretend option).  If it doesn't trigger enough for you, you can also volunteer.

Good, some time ago the mod was being discussed: Familiar Faces, but I have found a much better and more stable one, since it continues to have maintenance, it is called LazyFollowers, it is in Nexus, it is a mod in which you can generate a follower To which you have applied a preset both made by you, and downloaded from nexus, in this way you can always have the Mistress of your dreams, and the best thing is that you can not only do that, it is completely configurable and easy to use. I wanted to share my find with you in case anyone is interested. ?

Must have playthrough mod and well developed due to stability. A nice thing (and maybe low effort) for an update ist customizing outfit management for example by using the jsons from DDE

 

Thus there will also come a bridge to the BDSM Maid outfit (besides others) which would go very nicely within this mod

I used that one for a playthrough about a year ago. There are a 3BA version and also a BHUNP one. I really like that outfit, sexy and pervert.

Can someone help me with this mod please, i am constatly stuck in bondage gear for days on end chained, gagged and what ever else the follower throws at me there is no respite i cant fight i cant complete quest i thought you was able to continue with the main quest with this mod. Another thing is the mistress is constantly say the gagged phrases everytime i speak to her it gets so annoying listening to the same dialogue everytime i speak to her and she goes on about me being gagged. Also is there no way of putting responses to he questions as we are walking along the road it would be nice to actually say something back?? thanks

That's not this mod.  That's something else.  Maybe one of the extensions, maybe DFC, maybe something else entirely.
