ok so i finished up and is now uploading to Dropbox.

while it uploads (2-3 hours) i'll might as well say what changed.

 

so first of all i found out that last time i updated the file it was unfortunately not linked properly.

ok so for what i've done this time around.

as ritualclarity speaks of, i've compiled resource mods.

this effectively allows you to install 34 mods in 10 effective steps.

i have left primary Sexout mod resources out of this due to constant updates. (Do know that i wont update at less it'll optimize the experience in sexout breeder)

i made a few changes to the tutorial.

TODO:

-new vegas configator optimize guide   (this is to make the game fully use Threats and some other fiddly things)

i considered installing just the one armor mod however came to the conclusion it would be easier for both parties that all resource content is installed.)

 

That is cool. Whatever you are doing more than I have or will.. .

Now about the constant updates for some mods. Going forwards keep in mind which ones work perfectly and keep a good backup just in case an updated to SCR or even Sexout itself breaks Breeder. If User isn't active updating it or working on it the authors will move on and do what they have to do in the name of progress. That is unless someone else steps up and starts working on it ( could be a team) or at least trying to work on it. That seems to be the way things go here on LL. There are several mods that are uncompatable deep in the forums. Some were awesome when they worked.

 

 

What I think will have to happen in the farther future is individuals will have to decide if they want Breeder or not. If they do they will have to ignore the current mods list. So Perhaps individuals here can get a confirmed list of mods that work with Breeder flawlessly ( Sexout versions of course) and keep them in mind when they change and become incompatible keep the last version with Breeder's pack..

 

Of course this is just coming from an alien. Speaking out of my waste hole.. .

 

On a different note. I noticed that you use Dropbox for distribution of files. How safe is that. I am not concerned with them reading the files and such mostly from someone (on the web) else tracing the links back to me ( home etc) Also how many can access it at the same time? can it be used to distribute files? User please forgive this diversion. It is good question as I have many version and files that could be distributed if needed etc to help this keep on going. I haven't played it in a very long time but occasionally I like to see and revistit it and laugh at the crazy situations that occur that get my toon in trouble.

when it comes to dropbox's privacy the one who is monitored is the distributer (me)

if the police wanted data for some case related to me then could they "name, email address, phone number, payment info, and physical address."

(any website is demanded to do this according to laws and can actually be shut down for lack of logging.)

 

HOWEVER

downloads are not logged.

i cant even see how many people download and use it.

 

in short.

no, tracing your IP is impossible with Dropbox as your connection to the server is shut down and forgotten the moment you finish downloading.

i recommend dropbox for any legal content as its a quick and effective way of storing content and keeping it up to date.

and for how many downloads per day:unlimited.

and the speed is amazing.

I am not concerned with police and such seeing the data. Hell the owners of the facility can check it until their servers die for all I care. I just don't want someone random  to trace it back to me or my name etc ( with the exception of the police and orders and such. ). I might have to look into that as I can get a small storage and share some things as needed.

Is it the recent stable version or recent beta? Quote a version number please, I give them dated version numbers for a good reason, as I nearly updated today, then we would have no idea which of 3 versions you were talking about.

 

People using the beta are a bit adventurous as I have no idea if I've screwed something in Breeder compatibility in all the huge changes I made in the beta. I can only assume not as there are no issues related to Breeder reported in the beta thread. If you are using the beta, go back to the stable SCR & Pregnancy and see if that solves the issue.

 

Your version might be ok being 20140707.x, it's just I've wasted time before looking for bugs reported by people using "latest versions" only to eventually find out their "latest version" is 2 months ago and I had already fixed the bug they are reporting or it's a conflict with a later version of something referencing it or they are using the beta version. I assume issues reported here about Pregnancy are related to the stable version not the beta which is currently 20140828.1

 

 

Honestly? At this point, I'm sorry to say that I just don't remember. I think I grabbed the beta, so I'll try to fix that, but I can't remember everything. Is that, in general, what causes the crashing at the points I've mentioned, or will it simply fix the animations?

but i would not know the cause as i don't have a load order or any other data to look at.

I'm just wondering if these are the last compatible versions for Breeder, I don't mind, and I don't mind it being uploaded by you or in the Breeder thread, we just need to be able to make it clear to people that that is the case and that it will probably cause issues with newer plugins dependant on SCR/Pregnancy. Future versions are probably going to be completely incompatible with Breeder as I will remove a lot of assets Breeder refers to.

Yep now it looks like a time for a Breeder compilation where only mods compatible is in that pack. Not compatible with newer Sexout mods .. More legacy.

people are often/always plagued by errors and the likes.

a debug script like this would find the errors instantly try to auto-fix the problem, and if not then give it a way of telling the player.

other way this can help is adding sample script for the mod to run.

an example.

 

in case the mod uses SCR then make a small script that try to give the player or some dummy npc an item from the mod.

when the item is added simply make the script detect if the player/npc has the item.

yes?=mod is installed

no?=give player a warning that the mod is not installed.

 

with this example have we confirmed that a required module is installed and thus "should" function as intended.

I could add an error message in later SCR's to popup if Breeder is detected, but I'm pretty sure it will never get seen because the game would CTD before getting that far due to missing assets Breeder is trying to reference.

A debug.esp could check the global variable gSexoutSCRversion == 20140707.x but I'm pretty sure it will have the same issue with CTD

even if they're texture/mesh its a good idea to have a "check" to see if everything is as it should be.

if its first time the "active" mod is running for the character or every time the save is loaded i recommend a auto check for resources.

 

as we know its quite easy to know you've done something wrong when the game crashes on you...however if the game slowly dies in the background, it gets difficult to track down the issue (as we all know and learned)

Having issues:

 

At first I played through and encountered 1.2 million bugs(disabled spunk and all went well 0% bugs in cave)

 

Then later at the the mutated deathclaw scene(first) the mutation wouldn't trigger(disabled positioning, 90% works)

 

So after all these issues I then start Riverside for first time and pregnancy shows 0.62% cycle, 0% chance, 100+semen but no pregnancy(possible due to 0%?)  Also at Riverside I waited 2 weeks no change in % rates even after messing with the #'s.

 

Then adjusting values and restarting cave scenes.  At Camp Forlorn I wait for % to rise to 90% then start next phase.  Now stuck in Riverside at 90% fert, no pregnancy. 

 

Using:

 

Sexout 2.6.85

PregV3 20170707.6

(all req mods)

Using Tryouts normal version(with legion/khan/etc)

Store

breeder(with hotfix)

 

Update:  Restarting Mutation cave area, having issues(seems breeder works 75% of time on fresh game start, but 0% on reloading a save.)  Getting past the Mutation still causes no pregnancy to occur at Riverside(at 110% chance, 121 semen).  Possible relation, at Riverside start, no deathclaw's will "mate" with the character.  Unsure if intentional or related to my issues.

Possible older mods may of broke this save(completed most of the game before starting Titus chain)  so if load order/installed mods is ok or normal then I guess a new save is in order.  If no response later I will try a new save and determine if too many scripts were in the save file(unsure if like skyrim where scripts can ruin future mods with old saves).  Older mods include SOFO and Spunk(thought since spunk is not lust it would work, however with those installed I couldn't get past the cave scenes due to npc's missing, nothing triggering, etc)

What I did was opening the fugly boob mesh in Gimp and scaling them down to be really small. That way I didn't break anything, and you will have your normal jiggly boobs that your hand doesn't go through to milk the breast.

 

Only problem is they don't get bigger, but im fine with that, since I get to keep lactation on.

Well basically it's up to Breeder fans to now agree on which versions of SCR/Pregnancy/OffSpring are the latest that works, when they agree, they should contact User29 and get them mentioned in the First Post and added to the Downloads. My current Alpha is now completely Breeder incompatible and wow did it simplify a lot of coding by removing Semen system and Breeder compatibility patching, it will gradually filter through to Stable.

first of all you don't have all the expansions, however i'm not exactly sure if breeder takes any material from them.

the load order seems fine however there's a few mods that i don't know the behavior of.

and for you'r main resource mod versions.

PregV3 20170707.6.....let me "translate" this for you.   2017 07 07."6?"    you have posted an non existing version. (version is a date and that one is incorrect and a few years into the future.)

Sexout 2.6.85 you'r sexout version is a little newer then the one i use in my compiled one but it should not matter.

Thx, yea meant 2014.  Didn't realize the pack contained newer versions of those assets.  Though tryout would have the latest.

 

Update: before reinstalling items, fresh save still encountered same bugs.  Also unable to get pregnant at riverside start, even if the "conditions" are at peak.  So will try the older V3, and I might just uninstall most things and overwrite with the pack.  Thx for uploading to a high speed site btw, 90% of ppl use the slow 100kbps sites :/

 

Update:  Your pack appears to have broken zip files for both .esm's with SCR and preg V3.  Using WIndows built in zip errored.  Using 7zip had no issues with opening these zips

yea 100mbps fiber internet ftw.  Makes reinstalling games too easy, and hd gets full too fast.  So yea 10MBps internet is tbh too much but we have no choice in medium speeds(150kbps dl speeds or 100mbps no middle ground).  Also makes having free nexus account horrible as you cap out at 1mbps. 

 

Update:  Installing prebuilt version led to many ui errors*sigh* so uninstalled/reinstalled game.

 

Update 2:  After reinstalling game+jamil's pack,  Riverside starts as it should(waiting one day triggers quest and pregnancy).  Only issue I have is once in awhile the pregnancy mesh/skin doesn't go away(parallelogram's all over body some the right color others different color)

 

Update 3:  The Gecko scene npc disappears, and using(can you recruit) and the first 2am party lucy disappears after scene.  Game doesn't like me, or well user29.

actually my max speed is 1 mb/s download and my upload is about 100 kb/s

also not sure what you'r talking about with pregnancy mesh/skin.

 

recruiting those 4 have always been bothersome.

Yea thats why I scaled them down so there no longer visible. Just set the scale to 0. There might be a very brief instance where they show up upon being equiped, but other than that you won't see them.

So I'm having a bug where after talking to the Alpha deathclaw to expand my harem we teleport to riverside right before the sex finishes this then breaks sexout.

I followed the installation guide, but that didn't help for this problem.

 

I pretty sure it could be fixed if the sex with the deathclaw before teleport was removed or the teleport just waited a few more seconds.

 

Is there anyway I could make those changes. Could someone point me in the right direction?

 

Edit: Found a Fix the problem was SexoutNG 2.8.5 going back to 2.8.4 fixed the problem then I reverted back to 2.8.5 after I teleported.

how does it break?  Can't get pergnant after the teleport or just ctd.  if preg problem I had same one, probably have to run an older version of the v3.  Which as i know is only available in the dl'ed pack from jamil.

 

Also Sexout Lust/Spunk breaks breeder so that is a bad dl, and any mod that req it will be broken/break the game.

I have a bug where the two scenes with Miranda where she asks you to strip and get down on the floor and pleasure the stranger doesn't activate, the other one stopping the quest altogether as I can't clean the house anymore. Not sure what causes it, have gone back and done the whole Deathclaw thing twice now, happened on both.
