The !TOT Custom mod lets you "transmog" whichever appearance you want, but it's multiplayer only. For single player you want the Fashionist mod to replace your armor's appearance.

This server was born of a desire to have a challenging place to play without all the typical crutches and safety nets put into place. It's difficult, but it's fair. It's not designed simply to kill off players. It's meant to be challenging, but playable if you prepare and are cautious about where you go. This is not an ERP sandbox, but a server meant for people to challenge themselves and establish a character and story. ERP is welcome, but not mandatory or the focus. You're welcome to ERP as much as you like if others are looking for the same however.

 

There is no free easy travel other than returning to your home location. Other means of travel takes work, coin or both. Leveling is not super fast and you'll have to work to attain things as the game was originally designed. Combat has been tweaked to move the game closer to the original vision of a dangerous, challenging and hostile landscape. There's no instant stamina regen or boosted player damage. There is no admin shop, no free armor and weapons, and no instant level packs. There are player owned merchants and player owned caravan masters providing new travel locations regularly. This is a server for patient mature adults.

 

Discord is not mandatory to play here. There are no countless forms to fill out nor any approval process. That said, no support is given at any time unless you do join the Discord.

 

Some additional features:

• Add on dungeons give players more challenges and places to explore
• Optional non-human characters to play that maintain the lore-friendly setting (visit Discord for more info)
• Robust animation system allowing for expressive emoting for roleplay or erotic roleplay
• Generous selection of armors, clothing and accessories to create the character you want to play
• Very little down time after major patches (typically 2 days or less to catch up with mod updates)
• Dynamic weather system provides immersive challenges depending on the environment plus the time of day and sun, rain, or snow status
• Deadly blizzards in the north challenge explorers and force them to prepare for the dangerous trek
• Custom kits provide long term players with small benefits and provide seasonal rewards for players with minor items to temporarily boost attributes, xp gain and more
• Player owned merchants provide new options for materials and equipment

Backstory & Lore Summary:
 

For many years, the Exiled Lands were seen as nothing but a decayed land full of death and hostility, void of any hope for civility or rule... until a handful of individuals banded together to change that. Building and founding a settlement called Hope's Beacon, it is nestled along the southern river of the valley, serving as a safe bastion from the peril and danger of the rest of the land. Hope's Beacon was built as a place to welcome any and all who would desire refuge, a place to settle down and call home, and a chance at starting a new life.
 

Now that new opportunities are beginning to blossom since the foundation of Hope's Beacon, people are free to be whoever they'd like and take on whatever role they desire in the Exiled Lands, whether they be a simple commoner, a farmer, storekeeper, warrior, soldier, mercenary, a gladiator of the Aesir Empire arena, etc. There are also more intensive roles people can take on if they choose, such as slavemasters or mistresses for managing and training any slaves that might arrive in the Exiled Lands...or if you so choose, you can establish yourself as a slave and find safety with an established Master or Mistress.
 

You are of course free to build your own home if you desire. Find work in Hope's Beacon, start a business somewhere, be a seeker of adventure and fortune, settle down for a peaceful life, find someone to love, start a family, make these Exiled Lands your new home to begin any sort of life you could want.

The only law in the Wilds seems to be the strong prey on the weak. The strong construct cities, and try to have them, willing and unwilling, live there. So it all come down to a choice every person must make. Well they be one of the strong and carve out a new piece of land for themselves, becoming a Warlord, or King. Or well they submit, that being living on there land, to even becoming a slave to there whims. Only time will tell.

I can confirm, Savage Wilds is a great server. Chill admins from what I've seen, chill rules that make sense, good roleplay, logical setups of various mechanics, good rates, great mod selection.

I'd highly recommend it if you are looking for a good RP server.

In general, the consent sheets are done well and with good transparency so that people will communicate their interests/limits.

You are even allowed to bring friends that are more casual at RP or don't RP which I was curious about in advance because not all of my friends are super roleplay heavy but do like bondage/lewd stuff. Therefore, picking a server that would allow this was nice. 

However, everyone I've met so far does seem to be seeking actual ERP, so don't worry, you won't run into a bunch of OOC people if you are seeking RP.


It really does seem the admins just want us to have fun.
The players have also been very helpful and when I wanted to learn stuff they helped.
This combines to make this an approachable server even if you have been out of conan/the modding scene for a while.

There isn't a huge population active on it directly all the time, (tbh I doubt any server atm has many people this game is kinda getting older), but if you go online people will pop online and you can make a post as there are plenty active people in the discord. I'd say just don't be shy and poke general when you get online. There is also a section on their discord that says if a person goes online and offline so you can see ahead of time when joining.
In addition, the head admin is taking measures to grow population so this seems like it is a pretty good time to join.

From what I've seen, its becoming more active again, which is nice!

Anyway, I'm a pretty direct person, so everything I've said has been my experiences so far. Good server imo.

Removed a bunch inactive clans/builds from the server, so plenty of space just opened up. Hurry on is and claim some of this now claimable land! You can also enjoy admin-made quests and Arenas!

This Sunday, I'll be running an event in the Volcano to slay a raid boss from DMT (Dungeon Mater Tools), the Father of Scales! The event will start at 7 AM (MST) and 7 PM (MST), but I won't be spawning it till after the restart, giving who ever shows up early time to RP if they wish. For a limited time (till the event is over.) I'll be giving out a level boost kit, and extra gold to new players, so they can get into the fight in time!

Update: A long while later, Savage Desires (listed above) still a fantastic server for those curious about a Conan server.

Still great admins, good ruleset, good mods, chill community, fair enforcement and patience. Etc. 
Server is performant with good restart schedule and (reasonable) wipes of inactive guilds and players happen on a schedule that should make it easy to avoid them by logging in a reasonable amount.

 

I had some fun roleplay here so far. People are patient and helpful too, even if like me, you either don't know how to do some basic conan stuff or.. forget due to time.

I'm not an admin or anything, just a satisfied player who hopes people who are trying servers end up in a good spot.

Are there any ERP servers with an active gay male population?  (Server doesn't need to be exclusively for men, just have an active community of them.)  I played this game on launch but bounced off, then came back recently and it clicked for me.
