Bouleau Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Only seeing comments show up a few times from each of the npcs then they all just stop making them at all and revert to normal skyrim comments and I've never seen a comment result in an action even with high fame levels. The SLSF comment probability doesn't seem to change anything at all either. Not sure what I've done wrong. Does this mod have any known conflicts? I didn't see anything on front page or on SLSF page. I remember everything working on a previous install, even thhe slsf comment probability settings, so I've no idea what I've done wrong this time. Thanks in advance.

As a test, try taking off the PC's clothes/armor and running into NPCs. Do they have comments on that? Also, try talking to an NPC. If an SLSFC Debug option show up, use it. Finally, if you have the spouse functions enabled, it could be a stuck scene. If that is the case, try changing locations a couple of times. If all else fails, try reloading a prior save.
WizardLookingDude Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but I think I ran into a situation where the code forces sexlab to treat my male character as female. I was trying out the new cuckold quest, and I reached the point where the wife says she wants to use his ass and mentions something about a horker tusk. When the animation starts, it's a lesbian animation. I thought maybe it was because I had restrict strapons ticked in sexlab, but that didn't fix it. Then, I checked, I found that when the animation starts, sexlab switches the PC's gender to female, and when it stops, his gender changes back to male. It prevents her from actually using the strapon (unless there's a lesbian animation that I don't know about that uses one). Was this intentional? P.S. If you use the 3BA conversion I did for Leito86's strapons, you can rebuild the strapon list sexlab to register all of the new strapons. Then you can remove each one except for the horker tusk, and sexlab should automatically equip that one for all strapon scenes. I was sort of looking forward to seeing it in action.

It is amusing when male NPCs comment "I wouldn't want to be her wife" but i guess there is need to diferentiate their sex somehow. 2. Lillian is sweet and all but total lazy bitch when it comes to travel with. There is something in her following package that cause her to use player horse no matter what. I had little problems when doing Dibellan quest. I must state im using convenient horses mod and i have all horses in all cities waiting for me. She just took horse from Markath and if i didn't change horse to Frost (which she oddly didn't want to mount) there could be quest problems in Lovers Stone section. When we got near Solitude she took a detour to stables (or teleported there) to take my other horse from there. I had to "moveto player" her inside city, because when on mount NPCs don't go to city. No promises but I can look into it. I don't use that mod so I won't be able to test it if I do make the pack. I most likely will use the mod eventually but for story/quest mods I rarely play them more than once so I prefer to play them when they're complete.

I also use convenient horses and summoned my horse to offload some stuff and Lillian kept getting onto my horse.

(I have it now but disabled it until I got through some of the quests which have temp followers) I know it will have followers mount horses but I remember you had to send them to go buy a horse - and you had to pay for it, (being I've a money sink to keep the DB reasonably poor wo selling an arm and a leg... ). I know there's another mod out there which has a follower mount the same horse as you, You don't happen to have that one too? Edited August 12, 2024 by eflat01

It's the only way that I could get Sexlab to put a male cuckold PC in the "female" position in animations, for example, for "pegging". For this scene, I'm calling animations with an "Anal" tag. If I don't tell Sexlab to (temporarily) treat the PC as male, Sexlab always puts the male in the "male" position in the animation, and the male ends up "on top". Without this, I tried turning off the Sexlab MCM switch to sort actors into animations by genders, but it had no effect. I also tried setting the male PC as the "victim" and that didn't work. The only way I could reliably get the male PC in the "bottom" position for this scene was to set the male PC as female AND to turn on the Sexlab MCM switch to sort actors by victim status. Of course, the MCM switch to allow females to use strap ons when in the male position in an animation also needs to be turned on. The first one is normal, but after that, the spouse will begin the "cuckold training". So, you just keep asking your spouse for sex to advance the quest. 1

Her follow package does allow her to use a horse, but it doesn't cause her to use a horse. That must be another mod. She never goes near a horse in my playtesting. But, to address this, I will turn off the flag that allows her to use a horse when following, because it's not really consistent with the quest, and could interfere with her force greets. That should address the issue.

I assume what's blocking the custom race is the GetIsPlayableRace condition on all dialogue in the mod. That's the only way I know to prevent "talking" creature actors from having dialogue under the mod. (It also blocks children, though that can also be done with voices.) If I get rid of this, dogs will deliver dialogue from the mod, as well as non-rideable horses, plus any other creatures that have been giving a "talking" script. (There is a GetIsCreature condition, but unfortunately it has never worked.) I'd be glad to allow another specific race, but mod races don't show up under the GetIsRace condition, so I don't know how to detect them. I can detect faction membership. Perhaps there's some non-creature-related vanilla faction that custom-races could be put in that would be allowed to speak. Maybe something otherwise meaningless for an NPC follower like Orc Blood Kin faction or the College Entry faction?

I did finally figure out that I needed to turn off the Filter Gay/Lesbian Animations options in sexlab. It was blocking the straight tagged animations from playing. Unfortunately, as soon as I did that, it moved the player back into position 2, so that's annoying. I might play around with it a bit more and see if I can figure it out (though, I'm punching above my weight, here. I'm not that smart.). Also, at a later point in the quest... Spoiler When I'm told to wait in an inn or other populated place so the wife can find a lover, nothing seems to happen. Perhaps, I'm not being patient enough? I can tell that this is the point where the approach events become active, and I did have three of those happen. I expected more since I dropped the delay to 1 hour as a test, but they stopped happening after the first three. Everyone just sat around, so I might have bugged out. Anyway, the quest never progressed. Is it supposed to move forward after she sleeps with someone, or is there some specific NPC lover who is supposed to approach her? I'm a bit confused. Maybe it just needs more time. Feel free to tell me to just be more patient. I can do that. Thanks again for your time and effort. I've enjoyed playing around with the mod. Sometimes actors can't reach their target and the scene gets stuck. I built in a reset, but it only works on changing locations. So maybe trying going outside and coming back in.

Does this have a toggle? If not, do you think you could maybe implement that? If not I get it since that's like putting you to work for free but I thought I'd ask.

I did some googling of creation kit functions and stumped upon the function HasKeyword. I think this may be viable alternative to GetIsPlayableRace. HasKeyword ActorTypeCreature/ActorTypeNPC. As for children, I get the popup from SLSF that it already disables children by default from existing so it may not be too big of a concern. Edited August 13, 2024 by OMGYourMom

Is there a way to manually refresh comments using console commands? Also, the chances of NPCs asking about a threesome seem a bit low.

I couldn't make either quest work properly. The first one is relatively minor, but the latter breaks the quest line for me since it won't progress. I thought maybe Immersive Citizens was breaking it since it affects the AI, but I turned it off and made a clean save, and it didn't fix it. Could it be because I used the vanilla marriage system instead of the mod's marriage? I noticed that caused a few other issues. For example, the rings were both deposited in the spouse's inventory (rather than one for each of them). Also, at a later stage, the wife says that she already warned him he might not be enough for her, but that didn't happen. I can only assume it was a scene triggered by the mod's own marriage system, since it would be tricky to do that for the vanilla system. I'm going to go back to a save before I had them get married and see if that changes anything. Even if that wasn't the issue, it seems possible that something broke earlier and I just didn't notice.
