Real-Time Body Physics (DirectX 11)

Could you add physics for some of the hairstyles? E.g. ponytail or pigtails.

P.S. Could you please post all the rtbp versions on the first page, from old to new?

Which RTBP Zip file is it referring too? I've downloaded both the installer and the command zip file but which I select it gives me an error about not matching the naming convention.

Right here. Just click the green "Download" button on the right.

Real-Time Body Physics

Is there a way for me to manually add extra bones to be simulated? (like belly or thighs) Or does the script only account for butt and breasts?

Only breasts, butts, and balls for the time being. I might add some more in the future, but I want to perfect the simulators I already have before going on to add more.

WW there are two states of the penis: aroused and lowered. For me, the physics of balls only works in the lowered state, the excited state is used during sex and the balls do not move there.

In other words, Physics of balls only works outside of sex, but at this time the balls are hidden by clothing, so physics is not needed. And when it is needed, that is, during sex, it does not work ?

Hello.

I want to say that I think that this work is the most real modding of the game. This is the kind of work I appreciate the most. I do not appreciate billions of similar hairstyles or adding a book with a hundred unnecessary tea recipes, because of which the number of mods is close to the definition of "garbage". Or adding tons of new answers that change nothing at all in gameplay and litter the already full of useless items in the circular menu, and the consequences of answers don't exist, you kind of have to figure it out yourself, as if all this dialog is just a dumb game in which all you have to do is fantasize and figure it out yourself. I appreciate real modding, real MODIFICATIONS. Thanks.

I've read the last few pages and want to confirm a few issues that I haven't found your response to:

1. The characters butt seems to work weird, I'll show a screenshot (I set the gravity high). Physics doesn't work on the tip of the butt, that part doesn't lend itself to physics. Only the inside of the butt moves.

Spoiler

2. I didn't find a similar problem among the posts, but when I ran the game, the chest physics worked making the whole upper body move. The rib cage rippled just like the chest. Can occur on any spawned Sim, even males. The chance is approximately 50%. (p.s. I reverted back to the old version and the number of similar errors was greatly reduced, but not gone.)
3. The chest does not move up and down at all.

4. And what do these parameters do? (angularDamping = ) (angularSpringK = )

Soldream rtbp and is not intended for children, it should only work with adults. Movement of the upper body due to inappropriate clothing, simply change it to another one and nothing will move. Angular physics is needed for the movement of the chest during idle time, that is, when the Sim stands and does not move, his chest moves. I set this up so that it seems that the Sim is breathing

sussy wussy  scroll the page up a few posts ago I gave the settings with an example

Thanks for the kind words!

1.) The butt does work a little weird sometimes. For some reason, the body parts have been separated into sections, which complicates things. Usually the the border vertices are joined, especially on a full body model, like a completely nude sim. I'm not sure if Maxis did this or Wicked Whims did. I'm still looking for a solution.

2.) Yes, sometimes the wrong vertices are selected and the wrong bones get physics applied to them. This has been a persistent problem ever since the beginning. I think it might be a bit better than before, though.

3.) I'm not sure I've figured out the correct space to simulate the breasts in. I might need to try something new like creating new bones rather than using the existing CAS bones.

4.) Those are angular physics that attempt to apply physics to the rotation of bones. Highly experimental and disabled by default. You can test them out this way: Go to the "Debug Flags" tab in the Commander, click the "Update" button to fetch the debug flags from RTBP, then uncheck the "disableAngularSpringPhysics" flag. Be very careful in this tab. Clicking "testRTBP_ASSERT", "testReset", or "throwTestException" will immediately crash your game. These flags are for testing RTBP's error handling systems.

Do you know how I can get this mod to work on imac?

Any way to download for mac?

Technically it might be possible, but I don't have access to an Apple computer for testing, so I haven't been able to figure this out for everyone that has asked about it. I was hoping that someone else might be able to figure this out and answer the question.

I wanna try to test it but unsure what to download atm.

I had been using tonicmole's BS_Boobies mod which was great with a few caveats: flat chested men wearing women's tops and A-cup women with chests bouncing around like they have giant F-cups, and the mod not working on newer animations.

This seemed like the holy grail replacement, I love that breast size is factored in and I assume men in women's clothing don't have bouncy breasts (haven't tested for that though).  A question though, is this mod supposed to work properly on clothed sims, or just nude?  I just wondered, because I only play with clothed sims, but have noticed some issues.  I've disabled all other physics except breast, as that's all I really care about.

  • Breast sag with default gravity, even at rest.  The only way I've found to fix this is to set gravity to 0, any value at all introduces breast sag.  Unfortunately, 0 gravity equals virtually 0 movement.  I would like the sim's current breast position to be default resting position under normal gravity.  In fact, I'd guess that less than 9.8 gravity, breasts should lose weight and start to lift up.  So at 9.8 I'd think breasts should be in current default position with no added sag, there should only be additional sag > 9.8 and lift < 9.8.  Does that make sense?
  • Very little vertical movement.  With default settings, I noticed mostly just in/out movement when a sim is bouncing up/down, which looks weird because I wouldn't expect vertical movement of the sim to cause much forward/back movement of the breast and more up/down.  Then with needing to set gravity to 0 to eliminate breast sag, there's virtually no movement whatsoever except the occasional movement upon the outfit change spin or getting out of a seat.
  • Sometimes breasts become long smears or deformed upon pausing.
  • Breasts deformed in CAS, like they stay in one place while the sim moves around.

Just an FYI, but with butt physics enabled, sometimes their butts would disappear and become holes.  Seemed to only happen butt physics enabled.

Anyway, I love the idea of this mod and hope it will continually improve!

When can we expect the next experimental release of RTBP? Currently the only major issue is male butts moving like female butts and female butts have weird shape ever since the experimental release from 2 releases ago.

Leaving the gravity as is and increasing the value of power slider reduces the sag
Try these settings and see if there's more vertical movement

I had the latest version of the mod installed. Each time my game would crash without an error code being generated. It would just dump me back to the desktop. I thought it was a conflict with another mod/cc but without RTBP installed my game works fine. Any ideas?

Hi !

Thank you for this excellent mod ! RTBP will work very well in my game execpt in cas. I have a problem wich appear only in cas. As you can see on the screenshot, the breasts of my female sims are totaly distorted. In addition, the breast sliders are no longer working in cas. What's wrong ? How could I solve the problem ?

Thank you !

Anyone come across this issue before?

It's not tied to any specific mesh used in CC clothes, and it doesn't affect any vanilla clothes. It's only on the chest.

There is still movement, the chest just gets lopsided and dragged very far down. When when it jiggles the back also jiggles with it. This affects quite a bit of CC clothes I have found.

On the left is in game and on the right is in CAS where the physics aren't activated.
