For me I have 3 problems with the current version,
First, after the p4 version my game has no shadows
Second, I still have problems with the distorted female bottom as mentioned by other users.
Third, the game does not open with the Gshader dll in the folder mentioned when installing the mod.

Here is my working build of RTBP. The butts seem to be fixed and a much stricter method of detecting a sim's gender is in use. This method looks for protruding breasts and butts to determine if a sim is female and broad shoulders and a wider mid section to detect males.

Let me know what you guys think.

Edit: I think there was something wrong with the build uploaded before. I've completely rebuilt it and uploaded a new version. If you downloaded the old build, please redownload and install this version instead. Sorry about that.

Ok so female breast meshes that work/don't work with current RTBP

(This is how the names appear in wicked whims)

......

Default wicked whims. Works.

Anything by the author "mmd_riko" works fine.

"Simple breasts" collection by simdulgence works fine.

"Heavy boobs" by heliotropic. No physics just solid.

"Heavy boobs firm" by heliotropic. Works fine.

"Sopor's allure" Works fine.

"Gumdrop nipples" by strawberrikhunnie. Works fine.

"Soft body V3" by swimdown. Works fine.

"Nany-design_female- top" by Nany-design. Works fine.

"Natural_heavy_big_nipples2804" No physics just solid.

"Purse shape 1" by dumbaby works fine.

"Pure shape 2" by dumbaby works fine.

"Heavy shape" by dumbaby works fine.

"Dryads ample recall" by mini guiles works fine.

-mikkooi's stuff below seems to go back and forth a lot. I do not have their patreon only stuff however.

"Banana_boobs_1_with details" by mikkoi. Physics working but the mesh is torn, saggy, and affecting shoulders also.

"Bodyparts_boobs_5_withdetails" by mikooi. No phyics just solid.

"Bodyparts_boobs_6_withdetails" by mikooi Works fine. Although it's a flat chested mesh so it shouldn't if I could have things my way.

"Bodyparts boobs 7 + details patreon" by mikooi works fine. And is downloadable here on LL idk why it says patreon.

*I'm sure there is more but this is what I have and mostly what's available here on LL.

...

Female bottom meshes that do/don't work with the current version of RTBP.

....

Default wickedwhims. If i drop in a premade sim and make them nude it seems fine. But if i pick that sim or any other sim and change their WW part to wickedwhims default I am getting physics but a square butt issue here.

"Hamburger menu 2 medium" by hokusai26. No physics just solid.

"Hamburger n°4 thicc/fit" by hokusai26. Works fine.

"Hokusai26_hamburger menu:7 classic" by hokusai26. No physics just solid.

"Hokusai26_hamburger_small_butterfly" by hokusai26. No physics just solid.

"Hokusai26_hamburger menu:5 butterfly" by hokusai26. No physics just solid.

"Hamburger menu 1 small with big ass" by hokusai26. No physics just solid.

"Hokusai26_hamburger menu:8 classic bubble butt" by hokusai26. No physics just solid.

"Hamburger menu 3 large" by hokusai26. No physics just solid.

"Vagina v7" by mikooi. Works fine.

"Bodypart_animated_vagina_1" by mikooi. Physics work but square/torn butt.

"Animated vagina v2" by mikooi. Physics work but square/torn butt.

"Female nude bottom" by nany-design. No physics just solid.

"Big 1 - velvet skin" by dumbaby. No physics just solid.

"Big 5 - velvet skin" by dumbaby. No physics just solid.

*seems this last update killed all the butts. Most of these worked prior.

.......

Male bottom meshes that do/don't work with current RTBP version. This seems to go for hard or soft versions alike. I think this can but phyiscs problem for males is why I've always turned it off. Now I can't turn it off anymore it seems.

.....

Default wicked whims. Works fine.

Anything by mmd_riko seems to work fine.

However,

All of the versions and sizes "pornstar cock, and futanari cock by noir.

All of the versions and sizes of "simdulgence simplegens, realgens, or realgensplus"

These have the "can butt" issue where it looks like imprint of sitting on a soda can is imprinted into their anus and kind of permanently stuck into the mesh.

The physics seem turned up to 500%

The latest update seems to now ignore the enablemalebuttphysics: false.

Some of these bottoms are also available for feminine type frame. The same issue occurs when used on feminine type frame.

.....

That took forever! I think I've noticed anytime you find pinching or odd jutting angles it's due to your sliders and how you have set the body plus the additional WW body part you may be using. Sliders dont seem to stop start physics though.

So there is really just the difference of the meshes themselves and that's more than i know unfortunately. Much appreciation to anyone who helps fix this. And if everyone can tag their favorite body part creator here maybe we can all get our bodies bouncing in harmony. Thank you all lol.

Quoting the post for the RTBP I am now using, and the list I posted earlier for reference..

Upon further inspection the change fixed the men's bottoms from having the "can butt" or excessive physics. It seems they may still not be reacting to the true and false command but the physics are now not at least through the roof.

It didn't actually do much to change the women's top or bottom meshes from having or not having physics. So most of the hamburger bottoms are still broken. Most of the Mikooi tops are still broken. I have reached out to some of the mesh creators to see if they want to check out RTBP if they haven't and get on board with making it compatible. The only odd thing here is that I have certainly seen some of them work, quit working, and even start working again on different versions of RTBP. So whatever changes are being done are affecting the different types of meshes separately. (I see this same thing happen with clothing meshes. Install a version of RTBP and 10 different meshes stop/start working with RTPB, then it changes to different items with the next version)

With all that being said whatever was done seems to have fixed a lot of the meshes in a positive way versus the last version. I hope all of my blabbering does not come off as complaining. Just trying to be helpful as this mod kicks ass and I want everything to work with it.

One thing on this version I have noticed is that between CAS and live mode EVERYTHING is showing physics working or not properly. A lot of previous versions you can have a shirt showing or not showing physics in CAS then in live mode it does the opposite. This version is proving helpful to tell in CAS mode what clothing meshes are and are not working.

Odd in the old versions it used to work for me with the bouncing physics while was messing around in commander which unfortunately I upgraded to the newer version I see that this current build doesn't seem to be working even commander didn't show any bouncing results for bouncing breasts it stood like a statue. Did follow directions where to install newer version. Buggy butt physics still exist thats all for now.

Good to hear!

Everyone else, I'm still chipping away at the problems you've all mentioned. I thought maybe I fixed all the butt issues, but I guess that weird blocky thing still persists (Very weird, honestly. This problem didn't exist before, and I haven't really changed much). And ReShade and GShade still don't work. I'm not sure why exactly. They worked before, but now they don't. Again, I think it may have been a change with ReShade and forks of it like GShade.

I'll continue trying to get to the bottom of these issues.

1 .By using the tool to adjust the value of one of the female butt items to 1200 can cover(not acturally fix) that butt problem
2.There is still a little problem that after time accelerating to 2 or 3,the breasts appear to be overstretched during movement or displacement, hopefully this can be fixed as well

By default, simulations are paused during speed 0 (paused), speed 2 (faster), and speed 3 (fastest). This can by changed on the second part of the General tab in the Commander.

There is a weird thing going on with the female butts, I can't seem to get rid of it unless I disable female butts.

Some weird mens anatomy moves around depending on the clothes too.

Is there a fix for this? Thank you

Here's another experimental build for you guys. I streamlined some things and I think I may be close to solving the butt issue. The default nude butt still looks a little frumpy, but I think it's better than before. The problem appeared to be that some of the butt vertices had the maximum amount of bones associated with them, so I was forced to overwrite the least influential bones if a free index didn't exist. This makes the butt look a lot smoother than before, but still not perfect.

Anyway, if you feel like it, check this build out and let me know what you think.

Edit: Crap, left some debug code in. Please try this build.

Hello I recently stumbled upon this unhandled exception after downloading this build although I still had both the RTBP mod and log/settings(@ Electonic Arts<Sims 4) in my file anyway to fix this possibly?? Should I delete the log and mod for this build and also should I delete the commander as well? btw I love this mod been using it from time to time for 1-2 years now and just want to give you your flowers and say I love u and hope for better things to come along ur way towards all your hard work! Merry Christmas btw! <333

I'm getting this error when trying to install the commander.

sims 4 this code execution cannot proceed because libgcc_s_seh-1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem

Any fixes?

I haven't tried to install it, so i haven't seen if I get the same error.  Here's what I've successfully done so far - I've run "RTPB Commander.exe " while Sims 4 is running and switched back and forth between windows.  For now, try that to see if that works for you (if you haven't already).

Using RTBP v0.4-p6-e2 2023-12-25:

1.  I'm seeing similar issues as other people with the physics system enabled on butts (I've been focused on the female).  There's some kind of bad-looking layer that juts out and the underneath there is a jagged-looking gap between that layer and the rest of the body.  I tried using Commander to change the physics settings.  I guess I've tried this on default mesh and Eve 9.1 bottom mesh.  I can improve it by reducing physics settings, but the only way to get it to look normal or even good is to just disable the butt physics altogether.  The breast physics has similar issues with layers not linked in a smooth manner, but it's not bad enough to cause me to not use the physics system.  I guess some of this has to do with the mesh used too to a degree.

2.  And here's a weird thing I noticed having breast physics enabled.  When it is enabled, there are a bunch of masculine tops (example: men's tuxedo top) or even unisex (both masculine and feminine) that get physics applied to them in very weird ways.  And it's not even in the breast area - it looks like it's on the shoulders.  Very obvious and weird-looking.

"libgcc_s_seh-1.dll" is included with the RTBP GUI tools. Are you sure you extracted every single file?

Apologies I'm just dumb lol. My window was shrunk and I didn't move all of the files...

Find your installation directory. This will be different depending on the method you used to get the Sims 4.

* For the EA App, look in "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\".

* For Steam, look in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\".

* If it's through Origin (which I think has been depreciated?), look in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\".

After you've found your installation directory, navigate to "Game\Bin". Find the file named "d3d9.dll". That is where most of RTBP resides. Delete that file and RTBP will no longer be loaded when you start the Sims.

Finally, go to "[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\" and delete the folder named "RTBP Mod". That will remove the component that relays messages from the Sims 4 to RTBP.

That ought to do it. If you want to remove your settings and log files, go to "[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\" and delete the "RTBP" folder.

Please can someone write step by step how to install this mod. Because I got tired of setting up because I can't find any explanation how to install properly and what to do...

I'm just quoting the read me here, but here you are:

1.) Move "d3d9.dll" to "[TS4_INSTALL_DIR]\Game\Bin\". It should be in the same directory as "TS4_x64.exe". Currently, this mod only works with the 64 bit version of The Sims 4.

2.) Move "RTBP" to "[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\". This directory will house your settings file and log file once it is generated.

3.) Copy the folder "RTBP Mod" to "[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\".

Experimental releases are not meant for general consumption. Only use an experimental release if you know what you're doing and if you know how to install RTBP manually.

You can use the installer application from the GUI Tools package to simplify this, but it absolutely will not work with experimental releases and it will even tell you that. Make sure, if using the installer, to read the warnings closely. The installer probably knows better than you, so when in doubt, trust the installer.

RTBP is not going to work on Apple computers, unless you really, really know what you're doing. Works great on Linux.

Sorry to add another installation help request, but how to get this to work with gshade or reshade?

The installation readme specifically mentions that situation and what to do about it.  Did you try that yet?
