Ok, yeah, rereading the read me file now, I can see that I didn't make it absolutely clear where the "RTBP" folder needed to go. I'll update the read me file and make the installation instructions much more explicit.

I know it's a little confusing, but this was done to avoid permission errors. The bin folder is a protected directory and and requires administrator privileges to write to. It made much more sense to store RTBP's settings and logs in a directory controlled by the user.

 

 

Yeah I'm still get wonky soda can butts even when putting the files in the appropriate places. It seems whenever you do updates certain body part, and clothing meshes stop/start working with RTPB. (not your fault obviously because not all meshes are going to work when they are not necessarily built for your mod, I understand that.) The default wickedwhims penis meshes or female bottom meshes seem to work fine.

 

However the problem is they suck and are not very detailed. Ones like Dumbaby's female bottoms, Simdulgence's male bottoms, and Noir's Pornstar male bottoms are way better looking meshes but are all affected badly with this new update. Certain breast mods also seem to have physics and then not have physics depending on the version of RTBP. (My favorite Noir's milky tits use to work great with RTBP and then about 6mo-year ago it stopped ) So I guess to solve the problem between mesh body part creators and RTBP author, we just need to figure out what the issue is in the difference of the meshes that cause RTBP not to work with them. And then get the body creators to update meshes if they are still around, or figure out a way to get RTBP to react to all these meshes. (One's that have always seemed to work fine is Sopor's Allure top, and the dumbaby top meshes for females. Simdulgence and noirs worked fine until this latest update it seems, and I have noticed other body meshes or clothes meshes working/not working depending on the update)

 

They jump around with exaggerated physics, and have a permanent "sitting on soda can" thing going on near the anus. Going to add a photo here....

 

The male character is using default wickedwhims top, one of the simdulgence soft and hard bottoms. You can see he's got soda can butt. When i pause the game to take a screenshot the phyiscs actually just slow down to a stop so you can't really see it stretching out as he moves. The female is using a Hokusai Hamburger classic 8 bubble butt bottom mesh. And her butt physics just do not work at all. If I switch either of these characters to wickedwhims default the phyiscs work fine. So it's definitely a mesh/body part issue.

I think I might have fixed the butt issue. I'm going to play around with it some more, but I'll release a experimental DLL soon.

That is exactly the problem I have already described. I created breast tops myself. cpvc and I have already compared between a working one and one that no longer works. Neither of us noticed any difference in the mesh. So I would be really happy if someone found it and shared their knowledge with us.

Of course I would prefer that CPVC finds a solution and I don't have to rework them all ?

 

It doesn't seem to be due to Blender. Maybe it's S4S, but I can't find anything that could cause it. I'll try something and if it's confirmed I'll give an update.

That took forever! I think I've noticed anytime you find pinching or odd jutting angles it's due to your sliders and how you have set the body plus the additional WW body part you may be using. Sliders dont seem to stop start physics though.

 

So there is really just the difference of the meshes themselves and that's more than i know unfortunately. Much appreciation to anyone who helps fix this. And if everyone can tag their favorite body part creator here maybe we can all get our bodies bouncing in harmony. Thank you all lol.

The only thing that keeps me from using the mod is the outside shadows issue for the Sims

I use this mod for realism more than "indoor fun" so I guess it's not a priority for many players but it still kills the thing to me !

I hope it is a fixable issue !

Hello, I have a problem with the naked butt of my sims, I am using only WW. When my sims are naked they have this strange mesh with a rectangle around their butt. I have tried switching from WW mesh to the Maxis original mesh but it doesn't really change anything. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Here is my working build of RTBP. The butts seem to be fixed and a much stricter method of detecting a sim's gender is in use. This method looks for protruding breasts and butts to determine if a sim is female and broad shoulders and a wider mid section to detect males.

Wow and thank you. most of them are working again. I have a few CC's where the shoulders are deformed. So far I have found 2 cc's. I'll test to see if there are more.

This seems to have fixed almost all the issues I mentioned. Men's butts aren't bouncing if coded as false. Fixed. Most of these body part meshes are working properly again. The only downside is a few CC clothings or hairs that are now affected. But there is always something getting tripped up by a mod that does a lot. So I'd say this is a huge win in my book. Thank you so much for continuing the great work!

Having weird issue where breasts clip through full body outfit, in CAS the outfit follows the breasts and it works as intended and during gameplay it just clips

I've decided to replace the current preview release with the experimental release. There were very few changes, but it seems to work much better. So, v0.4-p6-e1 is the canon v0.4-p6 now.

Try reinstalling with the updated preview release. The butt issue seems to be fixed now.

I'm having this problem with the female butt in my game

For me I have 3 problems with the current version,
First, after the p4 version my game has no shadows
Second, I still have problems with the distorted female bottom as mentioned by other users.
Third, the game does not open with the Gshader dll in the folder mentioned when installing the mod.

Quoting the post for the RTBP I am now using, and the list I posted earlier for reference..

 

Upon further inspection the change fixed the men's bottoms from having the "can butt" or excessive physics. It seems they may still not be reacting to the true and false command but the physics are now not at least through the roof.

 

It didn't actually do much to change the women's top or bottom meshes from having or not having physics. So most of the hamburger bottoms are still broken. Most of the Mikooi tops are still broken. I have reached out to some of the mesh creators to see if they want to check out RTBP if they haven't and get on board with making it compatible. The only odd thing here is that I have certainly seen some of them work, quit working, and even start working again on different versions of RTBP. So whatever changes are being done are affecting the different types of meshes separately. (I see this same thing happen with clothing meshes. Install a version of RTBP and 10 different meshes stop/start working with RTPB, then it changes to different items with the next version)

 

With all that being said whatever was done seems to have fixed a lot of the meshes in a positive way versus the last version. I hope all of my blabbering does not come off as complaining. Just trying to be helpful as this mod kicks ass and I want everything to work with it.

 

One thing on this version I have noticed is that between CAS and live mode EVERYTHING is showing physics working or not properly. A lot of previous versions you can have a shirt showing or not showing physics in CAS then in live mode it does the opposite. This version is proving helpful to tell in CAS mode what clothing meshes are and are not working.

Odd in the old versions it used to work for me with the bouncing physics while was messing around in commander which unfortunately I upgraded to the newer version I see that this current build doesn't seem to be working even commander didn't show any bouncing results for bouncing breasts it stood like a statue. Did follow directions where to install newer version. Buggy butt physics still exist thats all for now.

Everyone else, I'm still chipping away at the problems you've all mentioned. I thought maybe I fixed all the butt issues, but I guess that weird blocky thing still persists (Very weird, honestly. This problem didn't exist before, and I haven't really changed much). And ReShade and GShade still don't work. I'm not sure why exactly. They worked before, but now they don't. Again, I think it may have been a change with ReShade and forks of it like GShade.

 

I'll continue trying to get to the bottom of these issues.
