This mod looks amazing. :) Does anyone have any experience using this mod alongside SexLab Defeat?  Are the two compatible, or does their behavior conflict?

It did conflict in my case, I tried several times with some bandits and the game got all weird, sometimes I would get enslaved but it wouldn't work right, sometimes I would get raped and then died, I wish there was a patch to make submit work with SD, like when you get defeated, the enemies do their thing and then, when you're supposed to die, get enslaved.

Well it seems to me my save is now crippled since game would crush on save if SD is deactivated even after uninstalling.

 

Put deadly mutilation as incompatible mod, I tried using it and the result is weird NPC attacking me suddenly die.

I have spent a few hours playing around with this mod, its pretty good but ive become confused about a couple of aspects of the

situations that it puts the player in.

 

firstly when you have escaped and are still bound "hardcore mode" is there any circumstance in which 

an npc who is not potentially a follower will not attempt to enslave you and will actually free you?

 

 

 

and secondly will a master ever actually sell the player as suggested in the description of the mod, or

is that just describing what happens when thugs pass the player off to whoever hired them?

 

 

just asking because i havent seen either of these two things happen and was expecting them to.

 

 

 

though everything i have seen happen in the mod works very well and the sanguines realm area is really cool

Yep. if they like you. For example: Beggars, you gave coins, will free you.
Other you helped will help you too, ofc. Unless you did something bad to them, like stealing and getting caught.

This barely happens. Happend only once to me, but it did happened.

Im using deadly mutilation with sd and there is no problem at all. The sudden death is a problem then sometimes arises with dm, but has nothing to do with sd

Good questions, Srmodding. I'd wondered about those things too.

 

I have some questions as well. Though I haven't read all 109 pages here, or all of the 280 pages or so of the thread preceding this one, I've read the majority of them and haven't seen them addressed. First, however, I should like to congratulate you, jbezorg, for creating this mod. As complex as it is, and with so many things which have to work together properly, I'm most impressed with your creation. Thank you.

 

Question 1: All but two of the positional controls work well. However, the up and down buttons shift the rapist of my player up or down a few game inches; then he settles back to ground level where he started. If this is impossible to fix, I understand, but if that's the case, why have those two buttons at all? Or am I the only one who has this problem?

 

Question 2: This problem happens after my player aggravates her master, for example, by insulting him or running beyond the acceptable distance from him. The master molests the player, then stands over her like he's getting ready to whip her, but without a whip. If she's lying on her face, the master soon sheathes the invisible whip and goes to another activity as should happen. However, if she's kneeling before him, he stands there forever, and the player controls are disabled. “~enable playercontrols” does nothing. I get the feeling he's supposed to add some additional punishment like whipping, beads, ankle bindings or a blindfold, but the animation won't progress. I could be wrong. I removed all the possible conflicting mods I could think of, which decreased the frequency of getting stuck, but I couldn't eliminate the problem altogether. Below is my load order. I should say that though BOSS works for me with Oblivion, all it does for me in Skyrim is put my plugins in alphabetical order and uncheck 98% of them. I have to order my plugins by hand, so that may be the problem. Here is my load order after I deactivated a lot of them:

I also have a suggestion. The whip marks on my players skin are very well rendered. However, they fade quickly. Might you make them last longer? If they lasted a number of game hours, I think it would add to immersion. I should think that a slider in SkyUI, though more demanding to configure, would be optimal for various players' preferences.

Yep. if they like you. For example: Beggars, you gave coins, will free you.

BOSS is not supossed to enable or disable plugins.

And BOSS should definitly not sort by name.

 

Check if you got a BOSS userlist installed and if the mod list is locked.

if you use Wrye Bash or MO, run BOSS from inside those programs.

Yes, BOSS is definitely not working for me with Skyrim.

 

How do I know if I have the BOSS userlist installed? The BOSS files in my skyrim folder are BOSS GUI, BOSS, and BOSS ini. If I don't have the userlist, how do I get it? I assumed the BOSS installer put in everything that was needed.

 

I've been changing the load order a lot recently, trying to unstick my Sanguine's problem mentioned above, so I doubt it's locked. Also, since BOSS reorders my plugins alphabetically, I don't see how the order could be locked. When I updated the masterlist a few minutes ago, I found the masterlist written out in the BOSS: User Rules Manager, so I can order my mods manually using it, for the most part. Of course, I would much prefer BOSS work for me.

 

Running BOSS through Wrye Bash also ordered my plugins alphabetically and unchecked most of them, leaving me with the following load order:

Edit: At file:///C:/Games/steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/Docs/BOSS%20Userlist%20Syntax.html, I found the line "The userlist is the file which contains your user rules for sorting plugins and editing plugins' messages. It is found at BOSS\[GAME]\userlist.txt, where [GAME] is one of Morrowind, Oblivion, Nehrim, Skyrim, Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas, depending on the game the userlist is for. A blank userlist is automatically created for a game when BOSS is first run for that game."

 

I don't have a folder called BOSS, only the two executables I mentioned above and the ini. What did I do wrong? I expect my load order is as likely as anything to cause my SD getting stuck.

 

Edit: I downloaded BOSS Userlist manager from Tesnexus and installed it in Local Disk (C:)/Games/Steam/Steamapps/common/skyrim, which is where my skse loader and the rest of my BOSS stuff is located. I ran BOSS and got the same results as before. What am I doing wrong? . . . I'm afraid we're drifting off the Sanguine's Debauchery topic. If you would like to PM me instead, please do.

wren888, have you tried uninstalling/deleting BOSS and tried redownload/installing it? This is the 1st time I've ever heard of BOSS acting in this manner, and I wouldn't use it at all if it did that to me. You have some wrong-ass settings going on with BOSS!

With my most recent attempt, I thought I got BOSS set up right, but since it's ordering and unchecking everything as before, apparently I'm still missing something. If it's all right to ask on this thread, please look at the attached screenshot and let me know what I've done wrong. You'll see in the center my BOSS Userlist Manager Settings. Top left, you'll see Local Disk (C:)/Games/steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/Data with a few of my esps and bsas, including skyrim. Bottom left you'll see the same route accessed through the Userlist Manager. Of all the esms and esps I have installed, only the skyrim esm shows up when found using the Userlist manager. How can that be?

Strange problem you're having... :huh: Nevertheless, I apologize that those links did not help. I figured the answer had to be in there somewhere, but alas, I was mistaken.

[Question 1] I've had this problem the whole time. The up and down buttons have always reverted back to their original x-axis no matter the adjustment. Sucks.

@wren888: Let's try it one more time.

- get rid of your old BOSS installation

- create a folder named "BOSS" inside Skyrims installation directory and open this folder, keeping this window open
- download BOSS V2.1.1, the 7z file

- extract the archives contents into the created folder

- right-click "BOSS Gui.EXE" -> "Send to" -> "Desktop (create shortcut)"

- right-click the new desktop shortcut and choose "Run as administrator"

- setup BOSS, if needed

- hit "Run BOSS"

- report back here

In my experience... forget BOSS for adult mods.

 

Sort your mods by the changes they make, that means simple armor replacers and stuff that changes meshes and textures only come first, they rarely conflict and if they do you can switch position in your load order until they don't.

 

Second come mods with scripts on a regular basis, like needs mods. If once in a while one of those has a hiccup because a mod from the third catecory interferes, it does not break your game, mostly you won't even notice.

 

Third come mods that use scripts in special circumstances, like Sexlab. They are dormant most of the time but when they trigger, it is important that they can complete the scripts or you get funny behaviour afterwards.

 

All it takes is a bit of understanding what a mod does and how deep it interferes with normal gameplay to realize whereabouts it should be placed in the loadorder. Always remember, the last mod overrides any other mods that come before. So if you got a mod like skyre that alters bleedout, instakill and health stuff and you got another mod that relies on a fixed health parameter, like sexlabdefeat you should prioritize what mod you want to run and place them accordingly. Every scriptreliant mod will tell you to place them last in loadorder which is impossible if you use more than one. So go by your own priorities: If you want to use for example skyres combatoverhaul but want to enjoy the occasinal GOR of sexlabdefeat, then you place SLD after Skyre. It won't helpt you in a case of instakill from Skyre because the scripts from SLD can't trigger fast enough, but at least you will see the occasional rape scene. If for example skyre would place a character in bleedout at 30% health and SLD triggers at 20 % and Skyre is loaded last you will probably never see a rape scene.

 

That's why it is important that modders comment on how things are achieved and how they went about to make their mods behave the way they do. Look at the workinggirl mod, it makes every client a companion, so if you have a mod that alters companions like UFO it won't work. If you have no companions it works flawlessly. This is a problem that you can't solve with loadorder and BOSS will be no help there.

 

Just try it out, shuffle loadorder and restart the game often, it can be tedious, especially if you install new mods all the time but it can be worth the effort. I used an old version of skyre that made the whole game far more difficult. I istalled a new version and thought what the F? this plays like vanilla until i reordered my mods because another sexlab mod and lo and behold, my new char was in deep because suddenly the skyremods triggered again and my life was hard again.

 

Place mods that are new and you want to try out last in order, try them out, look how they work and how they impact your game. Then start to move them up the order until they break and you found the sweetspot where it should be. This is very important if you want to report bugs for a mod. Loading a mod like SD in front of skyre, IMCN, tons of animation mods and then wondering why it does not work is a bit silly. Just as you should use a clean save if not a clean install, use new mods only last in the loadorder. Or wait until others have figured out a good LO and posted it here. BOSS is nothing else than experience from modconflicts. And statistically those do not include adult mods over the scope of a bodyreplacer. Problem is, that compared to 95% of the mods on the nexus the sexmods from here include a LOT of scripts and animations, so they have the most impact and are the most vulnerable to conflicts.

 

From Oblivion to FO:NV to skyrim my experience tells me to first bring you game up to your liking with no adult mods. Once you got that, install the heavy mods like Loverslab for oblivion, sexout for fallout and sexlab for skyrim. If in doubt, load last, try it out and THEN report bugs. Or at least post loadorder (script and animation relevant mods will do). Modders around the world will thank you for not having to figure out strange modconflicts.

 

To clarify: this is not a post to rant or bash someone, just don't expect BOSS to solve all the problems. Most mods here are new, they rely on heavy use of scripts and new animations, No one, not even the modders, can tell you exactly where to place the stuff unless they say "place last in loadorder". BOSS can't do it either, so don't place your hope there.

As you said: BOSS isn't the ultimate solution. So isn't your method, as you know yourself.
Most adult mods are just unknown to BOSS, but (as you said) with some logic, they can be sorted in easily.
BOSS just helps by doing most of the work ... if BOSS works as intended.

And in case of dirty edits, your method, as well as BOSS, will need manual fine tuning.
At least BOSS is able to show you known dirty edits and print out bash tags. Two of the main reasons, to use BOSS.

Does he still have the cane sheathed? I've occasionally had the master get stuck before starting the whipping in the combat pose like he had a one handed weapon (or cane in this case), but instead the cane is still sheathed on his belt. Using unequipitem <cane id> on him actually makes him equip it and lets the scene proceed.

I've searched the topic for fixes, but I'm still not able to run this mod. I get a CTD immediately after starting the game, but the game runs fine if I uninstall SD, but leave all of it's requirements.

 

I've double checked the installation instructions, make sure to run FNIS whenever I make changes, probably more often than I need to.

 

You can see my load order and installed mods here, I would apreciate any suggestions of missing/conflicting mods that could be the culprit.

i can see Dawnguard, but where's Dragonborn and Frostfall?

Ha, thank you. I read the part about the addons in the instructions, but I didn't understand/notice they were installed automatically by the mod. I unchecked the ones I dont have and it works.
